"Wind In My Sails - Unlucky at Goodwood and then bounced at Chepstow a few days later on a track that didn't suit. I think if he handles Leicester then has a good chance today."

"Akavit: I don't think the trip will be a problem. Carrying no weight with the 3 year-old allowance and claimer riding. Think it's one of the 3 year-olds to beat - good chance."

"The Lock Master: The favourite won well last time and might be hard to beat. We come here as the only CD winner though and despite not getting any younger is well-handicapped on old form - might be playing for places though."
03/07/15 1st 16/1
"Bells of Ailsworth - Pleasing run last time when second at Worcester. Similar conditions here and slightly longer trip not an issue. Looks a poor race and the horse is very well - we look to have the Robert Stevens horse (Almagest) to beat but I think we come here as the one to beat and really I'd be disappointed if we can't take this."
03/07/15 1st 5/2
"Seek The Fair Land - Good e/w chance here in my eyes. 8 runners at the moment so hoping they all stand their ground. Last time the slow early pace didn't suit, but should be plenty of pace here tonight with Pearl Noir in the race. Should hopefully set the race up for us and with a decent jockey booked am expecting a top three run - anything else a bonus."
01/07/15 1st 8/1
"It Must Be Faith - Not beaten far the last twice with the winner looking a fair sort. Down again in the handicap, but only a pound. Last win came off a 10lb lower mark. Ali's 5lb claim helps and not much depth in the race so we come here with an e/w chance, but the Hills and O'Meara horses might be hard to beat."
01/07/15 2nd 15/2
"Coiste Bodhar: Not beaten far last time out - down a pound for that gives us a chance, but this is quite a big step up in grade so hopeful at best. On a plus will like the ground and trip."
30/06/15 3rd 14/1
"Pennine Warrior: Second runner in the race - will like the better ground this time and dropped 3lbs from last run gives us a chance. First-time blinkers on today too, so hoping they help. A tough race with a lot of chances but not without a small e/w chance off this mark."
30/06/15 1st 17/2
"Lulu The Zulu: Brian Ellison has a good record in the race so his Baraweez is respected. Lulu has been running well without winning of late, but the step back to 7f is a plus and she also has conditions to suit. Still needs to prove herself off and around this mark, but certainly deserves to take her chance - fair e/w chance."
27/06/15 2nd 8/1
"Cymraeg Bounty - Dropped in trip after a pleasing run over a mile last time out. Shows enough speed to be able to cope with the drop in distance. A bit to find with the Dods horse, but he seems to be improving by the race."

"Great stuff from Ed de Giles at Bath - treble landed and from my £8 stake - Trixie (£117) landed too!" Bob Green
"Well done Lee Carter predicting he would get the 1-2 in the 3:05 Lingfield. The fact he tipped the wrong winner was only a minor inconvenience as i did the reverse forecast in addition to the win bet on Seek the Fair Land. forecast paid £21.93!" B Chicky
"Wow, it maybe Super Sunday for the Premier League but surely that tag
belongs to you guys. Appleberry and Zebstar within 20 minutes? Well, well
done to you all, absolutely thrilled. Thank you." Kelvin.

“I don't believe it!! I just watched Heska come out of the stalls late - 5 lengths down and absolutely rocket through the field to win! Thanks Mick Appleby and Trainers-Quotes for the advice!!!”
“Thanks a million, two nice winners 6/1 and 7/1! Nice returns EW & substantial returns on an EW double”

“Could you thank Scott Dixon for being so honest with Sir Geoffrey (W5/1) it has just paid for my Christmas!” - Dave W
“I enjoy reading the e-mails each day and getting the trainers thoughts. I have been keeping my punting to the 4 & 5* advices for now. Today I read the thoughts of Jamie Snowden on Lucy's Girl - but then looked at the race - rank outsider of 4 runners - never have picked that myself in a month of Sundays - but the trainer was confident so put on a tenner at BFSP - happy days with a return of 36/1. The fee is a small price to pay for such inside info”. Ian S
