"Spowarticus - Worked very well last time and on the evidence is weighted to win soon. Bad draw to overcome but 16s currently and attractive each way bet "

"Puffin Billy - He was quiet for 10 days after his first run, but he is now back to himself. The longer trip will certainly help."

"Cloak And Degas: 6f his optimum for now and went well here previously. Fit and well at home but has plenty to find on the favourite - that said, can't rule out a place."

"Desilvano - Ran an excellent race earlier this month at Ascot. Tough genuine type who should take some beating today. "

"Lawless Island - We like him, a winning pointer. First run under rules, but will like the ground and been working well at home and we help by taking 7lbs off too. Would not put you off him hitting the frame, but the James Evans-trained horse will be very hard to beat and he looks the most likely winner."
20/11/14 3rd 8/1
"Golanova: Got his fair share of weight. Should improve for the distance which may give him good e/w chances."
20/11/14 2nd 7/1
"Gaelic Silver - Ran a great race to win first time out after a break but the handicapper has now raised GAELIC SILVER four pounds. I am hoping the horse can overcome the rise and grab this today as he is not improving at the age of eight"
19/11/14 1st 12/1
"Top Set - Yet to find his trip or level but tumbled down the weights and has bits and pieces of encouragement and everything went wrong last time. Trains well and should show something in this grade."
19/11/14 3rd 14/1
"Malaysian Boleh - Remains in good form and his chance must come soon. Outside draw not that disadvantageous as he comes with a run but will need luck in running. No surprise to see him run a big race."
19/11/14 1st 6/1
"Bonfire Heart - It looks an OK maiden with Ed Dunlop's horse (Souk Al Tahab) first-time out and well-bred. Sir Mark's runner (Seychelloise) looks well-exposed and there is a bit of money about for the Robert Cowell horse (Samsamsam). My filly was just caught on the line the last day by a well-bred horse of John Gosden's so I think she will be hard to beat."

“I enjoy reading the e-mails each day and getting the trainers thoughts. I have been keeping my punting to the 4 & 5* advices for now. Today I read the thoughts of Jamie Snowden on Lucy's Girl - but then looked at the race - rank outsider of 4 runners - never have picked that myself in a month of Sundays - but the trainer was confident so put on a tenner at BFSP - happy days with a return of 36/1. The fee is a small price to pay for such inside info”. Ian S
