Based in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, the Tim Vaughan yard are swiftly becoming a stable to follow, with now over 370 winners to their name since starting out back in 2005.
They ended their 2010-11 campaign with an impressive 91 victories and well over £550,000 in total prize money – with those figures it won’t be long before they become a real force at the main NH festivals throughout the jumps season.
They’ve kicked on again in 2011-12 and are already homing in on breaking 100 winners in a season for the first time and many shrewd judges are tipping this up-and-coming stable to bag their first Cheltenham Festival winner this term.
So far their big-race highlights include a 2011 Scottish National win with the classy Beshabar, while they’ve also mopped up Grade 1 hurdles at the Aintree and Punchestown Festivals.
With 80 boxes filled at their Pant Wilkin yard and, therefore, plenty of runners heading to the track each week then having a direct feed into the Vaughan stable is a ‘must-have’ addition to your ‘TrainerTips’ portfolio……
