Idy Wood    WINNER! winner
Thu 20th Mar 2025
15:55, Ludlow
DEC Odds: 2.46(Betfair Exc)

Bumper and novice hurdes (two) winner, Idy Wood made a winning start over fences at Kempton in October in a race that has worked out well. Up 6lb for that, he ran no race at Newbury but was then a good 2nd at Doncaster. He didn't handle very heavy conditions at Chepstow last time but on this spring ground, he should be much happier. Hopeful.

Marche d'Aligre
Thu 20th Mar 2025
15:20, Ludlow
DEC Odds: 1.84(Betfair Exc)

Marche d'Aligre came from France where he won once and was placed five times from his other six starts on the flat, earning a rating equivalent to 81. He jumps well and duly won on hurdles and stable debut before finishing a very good 2nd in the Grade 2 Finale Junior Hurdle at Chepstow over Christmas. He was disappointing in the Victor Ludorum last time but should take all the beating down in class today before tackling the Novice Final at Sandown next month.

Ride Like A Girl    WINNER! winner
Wed 19th Mar 2025
17:12, Huntingdon
DEC Odds: 4.8(Betfair Exc)

Ride Like A Girl has a brilliant jumping pedigree. She was in pre-training last season and showed the benefit of that when 2nd on bumper debut at Stratford in October. She was 3rd on latest start at Newbury where softer ground blunted her speed. We've been waiting for spring going and hopefully, she can take advantage of it here today.

Regarde
Wed 19th Mar 2025
16:25, Haydock
DEC Odds: 4.7(Betfair Exc)

Regarde did well last season, his first over fences, winning twice. He's a bigger, stronger horse this season and won well on seasonal reappearance at Kempton. He was 3rd next time at Ascot but disappointed on softer ground after that and has had a wind-op in the interim. We've waited for the spring ground and he should have no problem with the extra trip here and won't be too far away.

Datsalrightcharlie
Wed 19th Mar 2025
14:35, Huntingdon
DEC Odds: 2.24(Betfair Exc)

Datsalrightcharlie is predominately flat-race bred, being by St Leger winner Kingston Hill from a beautiful Aga Khan female family. He was disappointing on bumper debut when green and very immature. He jumps well so we've put him straight to hurdling. A big, raw horse, he can run well, but is one that will keep improving with time and experience.

Audacious Annie    WINNER! winner
Tue 18th Mar 2025
15:00, Wetherby
DEC Odds: 2.72(Betfair Exc)

Audacious Annie is a sister to our Cheltenham Festival winner You Wear It Well. She impressively won a bumper on racecourse debut and wasn't beaten far in a Listed contest next time but came home lame. Given time to recover and mature, we put her in at the deep end for a Cheltenham Listed event and she wasn't up to that. She was back on track with a good 2nd on jumping debut when a mistake three out cost her a winning chance and was 3rd last time in a race that is working out very well. On the better ground, she should take all the beating.

Dwight K Schrute    WINNER! winner
Mon 17th Mar 2025
14:02, Fontwell Park
DEC Odds: 5.8(Betfair Exc)

Dwight K Schrute is by the smart French hurdler/chaser now sire Clovis Du Berlais. He came through the English point-to-point field, winning on debut at Kingston Blount despite looking very green. Fourth on Rules debut for us, he was then 3rd, staying on strongly over 3m. We're dropping him back to 2m3f today but that shouldn't be a problem and we think he'll enjoy going left-handed. Can run very well here.

Torneo
Sun 16th Mar 2025
16:12, Chepstow
DEC Odds: 3.55(Betfair Exc)

Torneo has made a good transition to fences this season. After three runs in the money, he deservedly got his head in front at Taunton in January and didn't get the run of the race when 3rd at Newcastle last time. He continues to improve and should go well again here.
