Soy Loco progressed from his debut, staying on well over the mile last time to take minor honours. He is entitled to come on again for that and this longer distance will suit him but it looks a tough race to win. He seems in great shape and will at least be eligible for handicaps after today.

Arctcian is a regular round here at this time of year. He ran a bit below his best last time, but he has things to suit him today and he can never be discounted in this sort of race though this is a slight grade higher. Good draw and top rider booked are positives.

Port Road ran well enough on both his stable starts so far and seems well suited to this track. He needs everything to go right at this trip but it would be no surprise to see him involved if everything falls into place.

Tronido ran too freely when taken on for the lead last time back from a break and will have come on for that. She is highly strung but has plenty of ability and could easily be involved if things go smoothly for her. Seems in good shape.

Jack Langley was very green and readily outpaced here over the mile on debut. The longer distance will suit him but he will have learned nothing yet and needs the penny to drop before we can evaluate him. Comes from a good staying family and should progress as time goes on.

Rabinal looked to be coming back to form last time and won this race last year. His top rider knows him well and he just needs things to go right for him as he can be slowly away. He seems in good shape although he is hard to predict.

Dios De La Guerra has run well enough on two starts so far without looking as if he is about to win. He will be handicapped after this and he should win his races as he trains well at home. Having said that, this is not the strongest maiden and he could be involved if he settles and finishes off well.

Thursday has yet to show her best form on the all-weather and returns here after a short break. She stays well and tries hard though, so it will be no surprise to see her get competitive if she is fit enough. She should have another good summer ahead of her. 

Majestic Wave makes his debut for us here having shown plenty of ability in his two-year-old races in Ireland. The all-weather will be a different experience and he is likely to come on for this but we will know a lot more about him.

Dios De La Guerra is a neat colt who trains well. He ran just acceptably on debut and will know more about it today. He is sure to find his races but the wide draw no help. He will need things to go smoothly but no surprise to see him involved if everything did fall right for him.
