Shady Daisy is by Flemensfirth and is a full sister to the good stayer, Fontsanta, and to Dusky Days who we also train. She is out of a half-sister to useful bumper/2m-2m1f hurdle winner Dusky Lord who herself was out of a sister to high-class jumper Deep Sensation. Dusky Days won on his racecourse debut for us this time last year, and was then placed in a listed bumper. Shady Daisy has done everything that we have asked, and goes well. She hasn't worked on the grass here in Lambourn as its been too dry, but she is a straightforward filly, and she should give a good account of herself here on her racecourse debut.
