"Fantasy Gladiator: This old-timer is still showing a love for the game with a string of good efforts lately. The only CD winner in the field helps and the horse is in great order at home - but recent win (3 runs back) did come off a 9lb lower mark so more needed and could run into one that's slightly better handicapped."

"Panis Angelicus: Our second runner in the race - fair performer on the flat in France and made a pleasing debut for us last time at Worcester (4th of 10). Still learning with him, but the step up in trip is a plus. Might have wanted quicker ground, but of my two in the race the better chance for sure. A tough race, but would not be surprised to nick a place here."

"Courier: Pulled-up lame last time so we can forget that run. Is all ok now and has run well at Sandown before. Would not want the ground too soft so we'll see when we get to the track, but good or good-t--soft ground fine. Decent e/w chance with not much depth in the race."
29/07/15 2nd 12/1
"Lord Lir: One last time out for the first time under rules. Hoping that will now boost his confidence and has come out of the race well. If he's not taken on for the lead then a big chance of following up. Up 11lbs and hard to know what he beat last time, but this race doesn't look much better and so I'm hopeful of another big run. He's a big strong horse so I'm not too worried about the extra weight."
28/07/15 1st 3/1
"Sir Geoffrey: In excellent form at home - well drawn and goes well on the track. The set-up to 6f is the only negative but could still see him run well if transferring home form to the course."
27/07/15 3rd 33/1
"Shout It Aloud: Looks between the Ferguson and Newland horses but we are not without a small squeak, especially if they don't run to form. Third last time out at Uttoxeter was a solid effort - Yes, more needed, but seems to be going in the right direction. Very, small place claims."
27/07/15 2nd 14/1
"Lamool: Seems to have plenty in-hand and we were delighted with his win last time out at Aintree. Looks an easy race and barring accidents we should be taking this."
27/07/15 1st 1/10
"Dakota City: Worked very well in the visor recently and providing he can get a prominent position he will have a good e/w chance."
25/07/15 1st 16/1
"JUPITER STORM has been in good form at home but has not been seen at his best in recent starts at the racecourse. I am confident that JUPITER STORM is in good heart and I am hoping that he shows a return to form today."
25/07/15 1st 7/4
"Oakley Star: Tight little race - we can expect the top-weight to try and steal this from the front again like last week, but this will be harder with the penalty. We come here with a chance. Only 5 runners but we get in here with a light-weight and this step up in trip will be a plus."

"Great stuff from Ed de Giles at Bath - treble landed and from my £8 stake - Trixie (£117) landed too!" Bob Green
"Well done Lee Carter predicting he would get the 1-2 in the 3:05 Lingfield. The fact he tipped the wrong winner was only a minor inconvenience as i did the reverse forecast in addition to the win bet on Seek the Fair Land. forecast paid £21.93!" B Chicky

“I don't believe it!! I just watched Heska come out of the stalls late - 5 lengths down and absolutely rocket through the field to win! Thanks Mick Appleby and Trainers-Quotes for the advice!!!”

“Could you thank Scott Dixon for being so honest with Sir Geoffrey (W5/1) it has just paid for my Christmas!” - Dave W
“I enjoy reading the e-mails each day and getting the trainers thoughts. I have been keeping my punting to the 4 & 5* advices for now. Today I read the thoughts of Jamie Snowden on Lucy's Girl - but then looked at the race - rank outsider of 4 runners - never have picked that myself in a month of Sundays - but the trainer was confident so put on a tenner at BFSP - happy days with a return of 36/1. The fee is a small price to pay for such inside info”. Ian S
