"Attain didn't seem to handle the extreme conditions at Brighton the other day but he does like some cut in the ground. He goes well for an Apprentice and should have an each way chance."

"Captain Felix - Only had three career runs and betting better each time. Sixth last time out at HQ and seems to have improved again for that run - I think he's got a solid e/w chance today in what looks an open race."

"Rockwood - Ran just ok last time at Leicester - a bit unlucky as got a bump. In good order and good apprentice booked to ride so hopeful of a better run."

"Brittleton: Running with a penalty so just hope the race doesn't come too quick with a large weight to carry, but the horse is well so hopeful of a good run but fear the Stuart Williams horse with the yard winning this for the past 2 seasons."
28/08/15 1st 2/1
"Guishan: Decent prize up for grabs here - has been running on ground a bit too quick for her of late so today's surface a bit more ideal. Has won on good-to-firm and on the AW, but she's better with a little give. On a good mark and trip perfect. Better expected."

"Tidals Baby - Can be a bit slow away, but we've done some stalls work with him. Loves the track here and will love the soft ground. Be Bold is the obvious danger, but does have a lot of weight and only ran 3 days ago - that horse could easily bolt-up again, but we come here with a big chance too (providing he doesn't fluff the start) and expected to be in the shake-up."
28/08/15 2nd 10/1
"Coiste Bodhar: The two market leaders look tough to beat at the weights and he hasn't been in the best of form of late on the track. Remains well enough at home and the ground was a little quick the last two outings. Hopefully the ground will remain on the soft side of good today which would improve his chances."
28/08/15 1st 4/1
"MIKMAK got a little bit upset in the stalls last time out and missed the break. We have done a lot of work with him at home since then and he is doing things well. I think he will like the ground and must have a chance."
28/08/15 1st 9/4
"Koultas King - Been a bit disappointing of late - continues to drop down the ratings and looks on a good mark for his chasing debut. More his grade and been schooling well so not without a small squeak in a trappy race."
27/08/15 2nd 20/1
"Lemony Bay runs in the Novices Handicap chase at 1:50pm with Tom Garner aboard claiming a valuable 3Ib. He has had three starts over fences and ran respectably in all three. This is a step up in trip but I do feel this will suit him as he does seem to finish his races very well. He seems in great shape at home and has been schooling and working well. It would be good to see him get his head in front today."

"Great stuff from Ed de Giles at Bath - treble landed and from my £8 stake - Trixie (£117) landed too!" Bob Green
"Well done Lee Carter predicting he would get the 1-2 in the 3:05 Lingfield. The fact he tipped the wrong winner was only a minor inconvenience as i did the reverse forecast in addition to the win bet on Seek the Fair Land. forecast paid £21.93!" B Chicky

“Could you thank Scott Dixon for being so honest with Sir Geoffrey (W5/1) it has just paid for my Christmas!” - Dave W
“I enjoy reading the e-mails each day and getting the trainers thoughts. I have been keeping my punting to the 4 & 5* advices for now. Today I read the thoughts of Jamie Snowden on Lucy's Girl - but then looked at the race - rank outsider of 4 runners - never have picked that myself in a month of Sundays - but the trainer was confident so put on a tenner at BFSP - happy days with a return of 36/1. The fee is a small price to pay for such inside info”. Ian S
