Mick has been involved in horse racing for 25 years gaining a huge knowledge and experience in all aspects of horse management and training.
He was stable jockey to John Manners for 3 years riding numerous winners, he then went on to be the head lad for Roger Curtis for a short period.
In 2008 Mick was offered the post of head lad at Andrew Baldings Kingsclere stable. This proved to be a great opportunity to work with top class horses and he gained a lot more experience while he was there in all aspects of horse training. In June 2010 Mick started to train on his own again, in the remainder of that season he had 3 winners and a couple of placed horses and had showed a profit of £106 to a £1 level stake. The 2011 season also started very well having had 20 winners, and numerous placed horses.
