Patrol should win. He ran two good races for us including when a close 3rd over this CD before getting his head in front at Southwell. Up 3lb, he is the one they have to beat.

Doc McCoy won on hurdling debut but after finishing 4th under a penalty, picked up an injury and was off for almost a year before returning last month. He badly needed the run then and will improve for more chasing experience, but there is decent prizemoney on offer here.

Havaila showed some promise in staying handicaps on the flat in the autumn but his two runs over jumps since then have been disappointing considering there were no fitness issues. On his best form, he would have a decent shout.

This Getaway filly is a half-sister to five winners including smart Simonsig. Out of a bumper and hurdle winner, she is bred to be talented and again was in pre-training in Ireland all through 2023. She arrived here in the autumn, has done plenty of work and can go well here on racecourse debut.

Two in this. Friday Again has shown signs of ability in her maidens and this track should play to her strengths. She may well stay further in time and still shows signs of inexperience but it would be no surprise to see her involved if things go smoothly for her.
