Okay, as racing fans we all know a thing or two about the game, but trying to solve the everyday puzzles of which horses are going to win the races can often be a tricky business.

However, that doesn’t have to be the case if you’ve got the INSIDE TRACK FROM THE ACTUAL TRAINERS THAT LOOK AFTER THESE HORSES…………….RIGHT?

Yes, that’s exactly what we do here at FROMTHESTABLES – we give members the honest opinions of the trainers that work with these horses…..day-in, day-out. Don’t forget, these handlers are paid by their owners to find the right races for their horses and above all win prize money!

So, with the new flat turf season starting rev into life, who better to have in your corner than Classic-winning trainer ANDREW BALDING?

Rarely a day will go by over the next six months of the flat turf season where the Balding camp won’t have a runner ... so that means action galore during the hot months.

BALDING IN FLYING FORM TOO Plus, the form of the Andrew Balding team, during this early part of the season, could not be much better.

Shine So Bright (1st 5/2) was an easy winner of the Listed European Free Handicap at this week’s Newmarket Craven Meeting, while last Saturday Raise Me (10/11 fav) and Fox Chairman (1st 15/8) were other tidy winners on the competitive Newbury card.

With the King Power Racing team also housing most of their horses with Andrew, then he’s got plenty of top-class ammo to go to war with this summer……………the future really is looking bright.

Already this year, Balding has fired in 27 winners and by the time you read this that figure will probably be out-of-date too!!

He’s currently operating at a win strike-rate of just over 20% this year, but YOU can now get the full lowdown on ALL the Balding runners each day by joining the rest of the happy members at FROMTHESTABLES.

TOP STRIKE-RATE: Balding is currently operating at a win strike-rate of just over 20% this year, while his 3-year-old on the turf are winning at a strike-rate of 33% - that’s 1-in-3!! However, you can improve that percentage further by reading Andrew Balding’s daily quotes and seeing which ones have the best chances! Get the full lowdown on ALL the Balding runners each day by joining the rest of the happy members at FTS!

Another cracker from the Andrew Balding yard late last month too…….12/1 into 7/1!

23-Mar-19 - Andrew Balding - Oloroso - Oloroso is probably well handicapped. He's having his first run for a while and ideally, he might want a mile and maybe a little bit further in time. This is a good starting point, though, and he's done enough to run a big race at a big price. 1ST 7/1

MEMBERS REWARDED WITH 25/1 SCOTTISH GRAND NATIONAL WINNER TOO!!

13 OTHER YARDS TO GET INFO FROM TOO
Yes, not only will you have the in-form Andrew Balding in your corner, but you’ll also have the likes of recent SCOTTISH GRAND NATIONAL winner – Nicky Richards, who sent out 25/1 shot Takingrisks to win the Ayr marathon – plus Fergal O’Brien, Warren Greatrex, Kim Bailey, Ben Pauling, Charlie Mann, Charlie Longsdon, Harry Whittington, Micky Hammond, Ali Stronge, Oliver Sherwood and William Knight.

Here’s what Nicky Richards told members ahead of the SCOTTISH NATIONAL last Saturday……

13-Apr-19 - Nicky Richards - Takingrisks - Old Takingrisks is very well in himself as he showed with his easy win at Carlisle. He has a bit of form on good ground and will stay the trip well. Hopefully he'll get a good run round and we'll hope for the best. Won the race at 25/1

FTS MEMBERS ALSO CASH-IN ON DAILY NAP & NB QUOTES With former Daily Telegraph editor – Tony Stafford – dealing with the day-to-day contact with the FTS yards, he’s in no better place to sort the wheat from the chaff. Each day Tony, who has a wealth of racing experience, also gives FTS members his best (and second best) quotes and these have been in scintillating form of late too…….like these two crackers yesterday!

Administrators NAP - Shine So Bright Placed third in all three of the Richmond, Gimcrack and Mill Reef Stakes last year, Shine So Bright has excellent form credentials as he steps up a furlong. The Andrew Balding stable could hardly be in better form and he gets a confident nap vote. 1ST 5/2

Administrators NBAsk Dillon, although an outsider, was quietly fancied for his Cheltenham Festival assignment. That high opinion should be borne out in these easier waters and the Fergal O'Brien team remains in good form. 1ST 2/1

Here’s just a sample of some recent quotes…………….

28-Mar-19 - Andrew Balding - Rux Power - Rux Power would have a great chance. She ran well at Goodwood and I'm confident we've done enough work with her. She is a bit backward in her coat so could improve for the run but she should be good enough to win. Won the race at Evens

27-Mar-19 - Fergal O'Brien - Ballyhome - Ballyhome is a consistent performer who gets the trip well and his last run brought a second place over the course and distance. Connor has been taking the 7lb off lately and they should go close together here in this qualifier for a staying series final. Won the race at 15/8

27-Mar-19 - Andrew Balding -Ranch Hand -Ranch Hand is a lovely big horse making his debut. It wouldn't surprise me if he had the ability to win this but I think it's unlikely first time out. Won the race at 12/1

26-Mar-19 - Administrators NAP- Glinger Flame - Glinger Flame has been running into the frame in bumpers and over hurdles. Nicky Richards thinks first-time cheekpieces will help his concentration and his initial handicap mark is not excessive. Won the race at 7/2

26-Mar-19 - Nicky Richards - Glinger Flame - We're trying the headgear on Glinger Flame. He's been a little bit wayward, looking like he's coming to win and just, I'm not saying he's dishonest, but his concentration hasn't quite been all there. I hate to call a horse dishonest, you know what I mean, and I hope the cheekpieces put his mind on the job. He's looked like taking a hand in the finish of a couple of good Northern novice races but hasn't concentrated on what he's been there for. Hopefully he will do so today. Won the race at 7/2

25-Mar-19 - Administrators NAP - Jacob Cats - Although yet to win over two miles, Jacob Cats is reckoned by his trainer to want the trip nowadays. Seven of the nine career wins by the veteran have been off marks considerably higher (the latest two years ago at Kempton was off 91). He's on 76 today, will have been freshened up by his winter break and the stable is in form. Worth a speculative NAP on a quiet enough day. Was placed 3rd at 10/1

25-Mar-19 - William Knight - Jacob Cats - Jacob Cats could go well there today. He always runs well fresh and two miles is the right trip for him nowadays. He's in good nick and I think he has a good each-way chance at a big price. Was placed 3rd at 10/1

24-Mar-19 - Nicky Richards - Amberose - Amberose has a good chance. She seems in grand order and I'll be disappointed if she's not knocking on the door. She's not won yet, but has run some good races and I don't think dropping back in trip will be against her chance. Won the race at 9/2

24-Mar-19 -  Oliver Sherwood - Piton Pete - Piton Pete has made the long haul North in search of proper jumping ground as he ideally wants soft to heavy going, which we haven’t had all winter really. This is a grand race for him, for while top-weight Charmant is a decent horse, he concedes us 10lb. Granted a clear run, on a track that will suit him down to the ground, he should be bang there at the finish. Won the race at 15/8

23-Mar-19 - William Knight - Tesorina - I'd prefer it if it were a mile and a half. Tesorina is better over that trip and made all for her first win over that distance here last time, but I couldn't find the right race at a mile and a half for her. We'll ride her positively - importantly we have a good draw - and I think she's got a decent chance. Was placed 3rd at 6/1

23-Mar-19 - Administrators NAP - Oloroso - Three promising runs on turf last year have brought an initial handicap mark of 70 for this Andrew Balding-trained three-year-old. He has had plenty of time to recover from a gelding operation last summer and is expected to run a good race on his return to action. Won the race at 7/1

23-Mar-19 - Andrew Balding - Oloroso - Oloroso is probably well handicapped. He's having his first run for a while and ideally he might want a mile and maybe a little bit further in time. This is a good starting point, though, and he's done enough to run a big race at a big price. Won the race at 7/1

23-Mar-19 - Andrew Balding - Crossing The Line - Crossing The Line is in good form. She ran a very poor race last time which is unlike her but she's really picked up in the last fortnight and seems in great form. I hope she'll run very well. Won the race at 5/1

23-Mar-19 - Micky Hammond - Ask Paddington - Ask Paddington makes his handicap debut today, and gets his first real run on soft ground but I feel it’s worth a try. He has been in good heart at home so we go into the race happy with our horse. It's quite open and we reckon to have as good a chance as any, even though the favourite looks hard to beat. Won the race at 7/1

Site Improvements, Plus Plenty Of Experience To Help Run The Site That’s right, there will also be FTS site improvements with an overall facelift to the look and feel, plus we’ve managed to secure the services of Tony Stafford to help the day-to-day running of the service.

Secure Members Area and Email Communication On It’s Way - Currently the quotes are delivered in a secure members area (by 11am each day), while – just like Trainers-Quotes – they will also soon be sent out each day via email.

A Bit About Tony……………….For those of you that don’t know Tony, he’s been involved in various areas of horse racing all his adult life. For many years he was Racing Editor, Correspondent and chief tipster on the Daily Telegraph, winning the Sporting Life NAP’s competition no fewer than three times. Plus, during that time he was a close consultant with major trainers and stables including Michael Dickinson, Jim Bolger and David Loder, plus for more than a decade the Thoroughbred Corporation.

Since April 2007 Tony has been Racing Manager to Raymond Tooth – a top owner that has punched above his weight both on the flat and over the sticks, with the likes of Indian Ink (Coronation Stakes, Royal Ascot Group 1), Punjabi (Champion Hurdle, one of four Grade 1's) and French Fifteen (Criterium International, Saint-Cloud, Group 1) being his biggest winners.

Tony is also the author of several books, including ghost-writing Frankie Dettori's - A Year in the Life - which included a post-completion chapter on Dettori's Ascot seven-out-of-seven extravaganza which indelibly cemented his international reputation.

So, we think it’s fair to say Tony has a wealth of horse racing experience to bring to the table and plenty of top contacts too.

FromTheStables Also Involved In Racing Syndicates We know a lot of you in the past have asked about getting involved in owning share in horses with our trainers – well, this is something that can also now happen. The chaps at FTS have been doing this with plenty of success for many years and have agreed to stay on and run this side of the business – great news!

With their experience they are well-placed to assist us to take this forward. We truly believe we can be one of the best and most affordable horse racing syndicates around!

Again, there will be more to follow on this in the coming weeks and months, but this is a fun and very affordable way to get a taster of horse racing ownership, while with 33 stables (between both TQ and FTS), who will be happy to house our horses, then to say we’ll spoilt for choice is an understatement.

There’s plenty to get excited about!
