Here are just a sample of some of the winners this month!

Deia GloryHighly-tried last time in the G2 Queen Mary at Ascot so will find this a lot easier. Prior to that run had shown a lot of promise with three good runs, including a close second at Beverley in early June in the Hilary Needler. The winner of that race has since franked the form so all is in place for a big run. Trip, track and ground are all fine and we get a handy 7lb from the Ellison horse in the race – Little Legs. Looks a straight shootout between us and that horse but we are hoping the experience of that last run in a much better race will see her home in front.Scott Dixon, 1st 10/11

MedranoHad no chance the way the race panned out last time. This looks a very competitive race but Medrano (2) has a decent draw and if they go a decent pace should be able to get involved. Daniel Kubler, 2nd 20/1

JonnysimpsonTop jockey booked in Oisin Murphy and the horse is well after a few months out. Will go forward from stall 7 and be up there on the pace. Last win came off just 2lbs higher but did it well that day at Kempton last October over 5f so the extra furlong will be fine. Looks a poor race too and we are 3lbs lower than last time and also down in grade – both factors should help him get more competitive and looks a fair e/w option to me.Lee Carter, 3rd 10/1

Jackpot Royale - Yet to win a race (7 runs) but has run with credit each time this season for us. Wasn't beaten far in a better race last time at HQ, but dropped a pound here and the ease in grade will also help here. The horse is well so hopeful of a good run. Mick Appleby, 1st 3/1

Onefootinfront has been running very well since stepped up to the 1m4f distance, so we think the additional 2 furlongs today will suit him. Oisin Murphy is riding him again and he ran well at Wolverhampton earlier in the season, so we think he should have another e/w chance today." Mark Loughnane, 1st 4/1

Medici Moon - Second runner in the race for us. Won twice on the AW before but both those victories came at Southwell. Back to last winning mark and so with Theo's 7lb claim that gives us a decent squeak of running a lot better than odds suggest. Looks fair value in the betting so small e/w chance.Scott Dixon, 1st 8/1

Lord TopperHas been pretty consistent since his last win and is now looking like he’s on the right sort of mark to win again. Not the strongest of races for the class and although competitive I’d like to think he’s a great chance here with a change of headgear to help.Jamie Snowden, 1st 2/1

Sans Souci BayWon a charity race at Donny last time out so heads here in form and full of confidence. However, draw 8 is going to make life hard. Will need a lot of luck in-running from there so only tentative each-way chance if the breaks come.Scott Dixon, 1st 25/1

DinsdaleRan well for a long way last time – just not seeing out the extra trip. Back to 2 miles here and Richard Johnston riding a plus. Well-handicapped on old form and should have a good chance today.Michael Scudamore, 1st 9/1

Flight Of Fantasy – Did well on her return run back in May but has certainly come on for that. Have taken our time with her but seems to run better fresh. Conditions look ideal and as long as she can settle well in front then think we’ve got as good a chance as any in the race. Only 6 runners but look to have fair place claims.Harry Dunlop, 1st 6/1

Naval IntelligenceBig step up today for this horse as we are into a Listed contest at HQ. Having said that the horse has trained well with Circus Couture (3rd in the Hunt Cup for us), who is rated 107 so I think an each-way shot here if bring that level to the track.Jane Chapple-Hyam, 1st 33/1

Clearance: Only third run for us – much better last time when 5th of 12 here so if building on that then looking for another step forward. Kept on well that day but was a little outpaced so that is why we are stepping up to 2m. Hoping this will open up a few more options regarding the trip and if staying small each-way chance with the in-form Greatrex horse the one we’ve all got to beat.Tim Vaughan, 3rd 25/1

Fantasy Keeper: Open race – first run back from a break but has won fresh in the past and is ready to run. Been gelded since that last outing back in November too so had time to get over that but has been doing plenty of work. Still only had 10 career runs so we expect him to kick-on again now and raced well off this mark last time out (2nd). Acts well on the AW and despite first run here no reason why it won’t suit. Oisin an obvious plus in the saddle too and draw 2 is fine. Decent e/w claims.Mick Appleby, 1st 5/1

BrigadoonBeen a bit off the boil so far this season. Not getting any younger at 11 but till shows us enough at home to suggest there are races to be won with him. Dropping to a very attractive mark though and Finley’s 5lb claim a further plus. Placed in the top three 15 times from 37 starts on the turf so generally runs his race. Trip and ground are fine so if all 8 run we’ve got a fair each-way chance off this rating. Mick Appleby 1st 3/1

CautorilloHas shown some form in bumpers and should be able to win a small handicap. Found 2m too sharp last time and should run a better race here but might be open to a classier rival – that’s my only fear.Jamie Snowden 2nd 12/1

Eric The ThirdWon well at Newton Abbot in June over fences and was only just run out of it here over hurdles last time out. Made most of the running that day and was unlucky to get chinned on the line. Same mark here and seems well after 10 days off. Same trip and ground too and decent jockey booked for this conditionals race. Another bold bid expected. “ Tim Vaughan 1st 11/10

El BorrachoBeen running well enough all Summer and should find his handicap any moment. Stable out of form but have a chance of getting involved here if it all plays out right for him.Simon Dow 1st 10/3

Toy TheatreLikes the track here and we are a past course and distance winner. Had a small break (44 days) to get over that last run but down a few pounds in the ratings and also a lower grade this time should help. Very open race so only each-way chance as might need a bit of luck in-running from stall 9 too.” Mick Appleby 3rd 33/1

Treasure MeIs a nice filly and ran well from off the pace at Wolves last time out. Track and trip will suit better today and I am hopeful of a big run at a nice price.Charlie Fellowes 3rd 25/1

Something Lucky: Very consistent performer – returns to Chelmsford and often runs well here. Has actually never won at the course though but it does suit him – he’s just been a bit unlucky and hit the crossbar a few times. Back in grade is a big plus and is taking his racing well. Was second off this mark over course and distance in May so every chance of going close again here.” Mick Appleby 1st 8/1
