Jetronic Sat 22nd Mar 2025 17:00, Newbury DEC Odds: 15(Betfair Exc) Jetronic came to us from Paul Nicholls this season and so far he isn't quite living up to a still severe handicap mark. Not an obvious choice in a competitive handicap chase. |
Black Gerry Sat 22nd Mar 2025 14:40, Newbury DEC Odds: 14.5(Betfair Exc) Black Gerry offered signs of a potential return to form at Sandown in January but didn't jump well and pulled up at Kempton last month. He needs to show a lot more today to be a contender in this.
Old Cowboy Sat 22nd Mar 2025 14:05, Newbury DEC Odds: 8.4(Betfair Exc) Old Cowboy, a graduate of the English pointing scene, came good with an easy win at Plumpton last time. This is a much tougher examination, but he has plenty of scope for improvement and can run well here.
Kissman Fri 21st Mar 2025 16:37, Newbury DEC Odds: 50(Betfair Exc) Kissman won in France in the spring last year but has yet to make an impact here. He has plenty of weight and we hope he can go some way to living up to that rating today.
All Authorized Fri 21st Mar 2025 16:02, Newbury DEC Odds: 6.6(Betfair Exc) All Authorized has yet to replicate the solid form of last spring, but his run here last month was a step in the right direction. Place chances in an open contest.
Ballywilliam Boy Fri 21st Mar 2025 15:00, Newbury DEC Odds: 42(Betfair Exc) Ballywilliam Boy joined from Michael Hourigan in Ireland. He was placed in six of seven races over hurdles/fences between July and September. Another intriguing newcomer.
He's A Latchico Fri 21st Mar 2025 15:00, Newbury DEC Odds: 15.5(Betfair Exc) He's A Latchico had a couple of good 2nd places last season, but hasn't been out since the spring. He sits at the bottom here and with Freddie's claim gets 19lb and more from all the rest.
All In You Fri 21st Mar 2025 15:00, Newbury DEC Odds: 30(Betfair Exc) Three in this. All In You has joined from France. He was unplaced in his last two runs over obstacles but won a 1m7f handicap on the flat at Longchamp last April. Interesting
Havaila Fri 21st Mar 2025 14:30, Newbury DEC Odds: 4.8(Betfair Exc) Havaila enjoyed champion Harry Cobden's handling three runs ago when winning at Lingfield, but the rider missed the last victory (Niall Houlihan) which brought a 7lb penalty. He is still joint bottom-weigtht here and in prime form, should be hard to beat.
Hurricane Pat WINNER! ![]() Thu 20th Mar 2025 17:45, Chepstow DEC Odds: 1.79(Betfair Exc) Hurricane Pat won a Class 4 bumper at Sandown from our own very useful performer Edward Sexton in November and returned there last month with a good 3rd under a 4lb penalty in a Class 2 bumper. This Class 5 should be at his mercy. |
