Earl Of Desmond had been off for almost two years before struggling and pulling up on his comeback and stable debut in March. We hope he can start to show something of his decent form of yesteryear.

Jessie Lightfoot did okay when with us for the 2022-23 season. She switched to Evan Williams where all three runs this season were decent enough. Now back here, we have to be hopeful that on ground she likes, this could be her day.

Millford Sound has shown little for a long time including the last twice for us. His mark is coming down quickly though and he can make use of it to run much better today.

Try The Money ran well in 2nd at Taunton two runs back. He didn't jump with the same fluency last time at Hereford but a repetition of the earlier form would put him right in the argument.

Earl Of Desmond won all three of his Irish points - no mean feat - and then finished 2nd in two hunter chases over there. Two years off preceded his first stable run and he would need to improve a good deal on that to cope with these.

In his UK runs, Foveros has been running in claimers when he often meets horses with higher ratings than the top-weight in this handicap. His mark has reduced considerably and we can claim in this hands and heels race. Could go well.

Java Point has been running well, winning at Sandown and then 4th in a better race at Kempton. A previous CD winner, he will enjoy conditions and has each-way chances.

Coastguard Station returned from a three-month break to run a good 2nd at Ascot last time. He meets lesser opposition today and while the top-weight is  in form, he will find our boy tough to handle.

Boys Of Wexford isn't the easiest to win with, but he's been getting nearer in recent runs and this could be his day. The better ground will help him.

Generous Day is less ground-dependent than The Big Bite, but his problem has been humping big weights around all winter. He's top-weight once more and all we can hope is that he's on top form in which case a place is a possibility.

It's been a winter to forget for The Big Bite, who has had three runs on just about the best ground we could find for him and still he struggled. The hope is that Market Rasen won't be a mudbath but it's possibly too soft for him anyway.

Brandt ran comfortably his best race yet over hurdles when 4th at Warwick just over four months ago. He starts handicapping on a mark of 99 and we hope he can prove better than that. Chances in an open race.

Mister Bo has pulled up on all three starts this season, his mark dropping from 120 to 102. First-time cheek-pieces hopefully, will make a difference.

Millford Sound had been off for 17 months before making his stable debut last month at Hereford. He ran too free and will need to be more measured today when he should be fitter.

Foveros has been running well in selling and claiming hurdles since coming over from Ireland. Four of the five runners in this selling hurdle are within reach on ratings and while he has a few pounds to find on his main rivals, he could manage it this time.

Ex-Irish Milford Sound was off the track for almost 18 months before making a UK and stable debut last month. He pulled up that day and as he has a bit to find with a few of these on hurdles ratings, we might need to see a bit more from him before getting too excited about his prospects.

Coastguard Station disappointed last time but is on a lower mark than when running well last season. This is a weak race for the meeting and he ought to be capable of making the first three.

Diger Daudaie was 3rd of 4 finishers last time but that still was an improvement on his first two runs for us since a long break. Continued improvement would give him a small each-way chance.

Patient Owner has been pulled up the last three times. If only he could complete, that would be something to build on.

Try The Money came back from ten months off with a career-best 2nd place at Taunton recently. A repeat of that first handicap effort would see him go very close.

Duneomeno had been off for 18 months before making his stable debut 17 days ago in a handicap hurdle at Ludlow. A close 4th there, he reverts to chasing and looks to have a great chance at these weights.

Ex-Irish Brandt has been allowed to go off at massive prices the last twice. His 4th on the most recent was a big step forward and now he starts off on 99 in a first handicap. Hoping for a decent performance.

Java Point won nicely at Sandown last time. Up 4lb for that, championship leader Harry Cobden takes the mount and we have to be hopeful of the follow-up.

Generous Day may be a 12yo but he showed over this CD last month that there is still life in him. Not beaten far in 3rd, a similar run would put him right in the action at the business end.

Boys Of Wexford ran his best race for some time, when 3rd last time, albeit in a weaker race than this. We have to hope he can progress from that and make an impact.

Ballycorr has been lightly raced since his one win in a chase at Sedgefield in May 2022. He was off for more than a year before his comeback run at Hereford last month but should be better for it.

Foveros has come down the handicap compared with his level when trained in Ireland. He was 2nd in similar company at Leicester last time and should be good enough to make the frame, although the favourite has strong claims.

The Big Bite is capable of winning races of this nature but hates testing ground. If Doncaster has avoided the rain, we would expect a better performance than he has managed so far this season.

We avoided the worst of the winter ground with Brandt who was beaten a long way at massive prices in his prior runs. The 99 rating might overrate him, but we'll find out on that point today.

Try The Money returns after almost a year's absence. His three modest runs have brought an equally low starting point in the handicap. The only way is up from here!

Duneomeno won over this course and distance almost exactly two years ago for his previous stable. He's been off the track for well over a year and we hope that returning to the scene of his triumph might galvanize him. Tough ask though.

Key Factor has yet to get his head in front and the switch to chasing hasn't yet looked any more promising than over hurdles. He does run from a very low mark though and we'd like to think he can improve on what he's shown so far.

Boys Of Wexford has been running disappointedly this winter. His only previous winning form was when making all at Huntingdon 15 months ago. The first-time cheek-pieces will need to have an effect if he is to come back to that sort of level, which he'll need to match some in-form rivals.

Milford Sound is returning after an even longer break than Ballycorr. It's 17 months since his last run, on the flat as it happens, and more than two years since his latest over jumps. He makes his stable debut here after coming from Ireland and it will be interesting to see how the handicaps between the UK and Ireland match up.

Ballycorr was in the best form of his career in 2022, winning once over fences.  He had a wind-op after a busy season but disappointed after and it remains to be seen how ready he will be for this comeback.

Generous Day ran easily the better of two races in the autumn over this course. He seemed not to enjoy the heavy ground at Southwell last time but now back on better ground after his break and from a nicely lower mark, he could well be dangerous.

Java Point made a very promising start for the yard and the season when a good 4th at Newbury. He tired coming to the last that day but will be fitter here and off 2lb lower has to be in with a shout.

Diger Daudaie has been some way off the speed in his two runs this season, understandably perhaps after almost 1,000 days off the track. Rating dropping so could be getting closer as the fitness improves.

Boys Of Wexford has run poorly so far this season, one remote 4th either side of two pulled-up runs. He needs to show more.

Patient Owner has pulled up the last twice. He had a wind-op after the latter of them and hopefully, can last out the race better with that to help him.

Foveros ran slightly better 2nd time out for the stable but goes back into claiming company. The ratings are quite close and if the favourite runs below expectations he could be the one to benefit.

Creamoverpeaches is a six-year-old mare making her debut in this large field novices' hurdle. We'll be looking for signs of promise amid the almost guaranteed inexperience.

Mister Bo joined from Henry De Bromhread in the autumn. He didn't get home in either of his starts for us, pulling up each time, and we'll be looking for him to last much longer now.

The Big Bite last ran over hurdles almost five years ago, but we're using this race as a confidence boost after pulling up the last twice over fences. His mark is high enough, but we'd just like to see him complete and come back safely.

Skinflint won twice over the course last year, at this trip in February and half a mile further in March. The snag is a higher mark and as a 12-year-old now, it's not easy. Tries and jumps well so he always goes there with a chance.

Nedzor made a promising start for the stable in November when 3rd here, but he didn't progress as expected last time at Exeter on New Year's Day. He needs to show his first-time side and improve on that to figure here.

Key Factor has yet to figure in points, over hurdles and now twice in chases where he hasn't shown much improvement to be fair. Just hoping for a better effort at the foot of this modest handicap.

Nedzor showed promise when 3rd on stable, hurdles and seasonal debut at Chepstow. He can make the favourite think a bit if he improves as expected.

Nedzor was placed in his only UK point and then finished a promising 3rd first time over hurdles and for the stable at Chepstow. He had wind surgery between those runs and should be ready to run a stronger race in this maiden. Place chances.

Boys Of Westford was a well-beaten 4th last time. He needs to improve on that but at his best, he will be a candidate for a place.

Diger Daudaie understandably needed his run at Sedgefield last month - his first for us - after almost 1,000 days off the track. We will be happy with a little more involvement this time.

Gentle Frank missed his race here yesterday due to travel problems. All should be well today and the drop from 3m on seasonal comeback and chase debut to 2m3f should be to his benefit. Place chances.

Coastguard Station ran well when 3rd on his return after a break at Wetherby and wasn't disgraced up in grade last time at Cheltenham. This race is chalk and cheese by comparison and we have to be hopeful he is up to winning a 0-120.

Skinflint enjoyed two nice wins at Chepstow last season, but considering he's an 11-year-old, the handicapper hasn't been kind to him - up a total of 16lb even after defeat in his one subsequent race. This 2m2f  on comeback around here is probably on the short side, but his good jumping may keep him in the argument.

Java Point makes his stable debut but was 3rd in this race last year on his debut for the season and has always run well here including a win early last season. Hopes in a competitive race.

The Big Bite won here last season and will enjoy the drying ground. He can run well fresh, but it's a competitive race.

Mister Bo tackled decent opposition in his maiden hurdles for the Henry De Bromhead stable in Ireland. He needed the run on UK and stable debut four weeks ago and we're stepping him straight into a novice handicap chase here. Wetherby takes some jumping but if he handles the fences it could be interesting.

Generous Day followed an ordinary comeback run last autumn with a win in this race. We've followed a similar pattern this year and hopefully, from a similar rusty return effort, he can step up to success again.

Captain Attridge was a decent 3rd at Ludlow in May before going off for his summer break. He needed the run on his reappearance at Stratford seven weeks ago but should have come on for that.

Nedzor was 2nd in his UK point for Bradley Gibbs. He's a gelding by top jumps sire Soldier Of Fortune and I'm looking forward to this hurdling debut.

Boys Of Wexford was in decent form last season but pulled up his recent comeback run. That should have brought him on.

Brandt showed some promise with Gordon Elliott. Even if he matched that, this deep novice would still be tough.

Patient Owner needed the run on his comeback. More will be needed today.

Foveros was 3rd on debut for the stable in a claiming hurdle having been with Willie Mullins previously. Needs to show more.

Gentle Frank was a wide-margin winner of his penultimate hurdle race in March, around here. He's back from a break and makes his debut over fences. Interesting.

Judged on her first run in the UK since joining from Gordon Elliott, Minnie Beets looks high enough in the handicap. We'll find out more about her now.

Coastguard Station ran well over hurdles the other day on his comeback for the season when he might have finished nearer than a five-length 3rd if he hadn't been slightly crowded. Back over fences, he should be ready to run a big race.

Key factor was disappointing at Exeter. He can do better than that.

Striking Out was a little unlucky not to get up at Ludlow last time, jumping left at the last fence, then then finishing fast. He has yet to prove he handles soft ground, but if he does, he's the one to beat.

Come On Gruff won his bumper here on debut and also one of two hurdle successes were around Ludlow. He performed consistently well for Tom George in handicaps and now is ready for a first go at chasing off a fair mark. Hoping for a big run first time out.

Minnie Beets is another ex-Gordon Elliott horse. She had a few runs there without showing much, but hopefully, we can find some less demanding races for her as the season wears on.

Brandt was 2nd in a Kilbeggan bumper for Gordon Elliott before joining us. He was beaten a long way at Uttoxeter a month ago on stable debut but will have benefited from the experience.

Patient Owner may be a maiden under all disciplines, including a point-to-point and a bumper, but when he switched from hurdles to chases in the middle of last season, he showed promise, finishing twice in the places. He resumes after his summer break and we hope that he can start to live up to his name for his owners.

Foveros had decent form on the flat and over hurdles for Willie Mullins. This claiming hurdle represents a big drop in class for his stable debut and his Irish form suggests he's the one to beat here.

Diger Daudaie has been off the track for two and a half years but there still seems to be plenty left in the tank for this winner of two races. He may well need this run to bring him to top form and I'm looking forward to seeing him run.

Striking Out was unlucky last week at Ludlow finishing fast into second a neck behind the winner, almost retrieving a four-length deficit from the final fence. He's been raised 4lb for that and can run here of his old mark. Big chance.

Boys Of Wexford did well in his first season over fences, never finishing out of the money. He can run off a few pounds lower over hurdles and this race should bring him back to peak match fitness when he resumes chasing.

Brandt is another that came from Gordon Elliott, his last run in the spring before a break He's had a run from here when very keen at Uttoxeter and we expect him to improve on that performance today.

Minnie Beets had a few unsuccessful runs for Gordon Elliot and joined us after her latest effort a month ago at Killarney. We will find out more about her today.

Mister Bo joined from Henry De Bromhead for whom he had four runs with only one, a 5th of 17 on penultimate start amounting to much. It's hard to see where the handicapper got the figure of 120 for that! If he is correct we'll have a chance but the market clearly thinks otherwise.

Generous Day had a nice win at Southwell second time back from a summer break last November, after which he also ran two creditable races in 2nd. He's 11 and concedes years to all his opponents. He might just improve for this run but he's bang there on his best form.

Striking out had decent placed form early in the year here and at Hereford. He hasn't matched that in his runs so far this season but returns after a short break off a considerably lower mark. James King is a good booking in this amateurs' race. Big each-way chance.

Key Factor never got close in his hurdles races last season. He did okay in a couple of points before that and we're hoping chasing will be more his thing.

Coastguard Station had a very good winter over fences and he's back after his break running over hurdles off a considerably lower mark. If he's sharp enough he should go well.

Can't Beat History has been running consistently apart from one unseated rider -since switching to fences. This is his grade and he should be competitive once more. Hopeful.

We bought Brandt from the Gordon Elliott stable in May after he showed decent form in his two bumpers. We are hopeful he can do well over hurdles and while this is a pretty competitive affair for his debut, are hopeful he can put up a good showing.

Can't Beat History won impressively around here two runs back and understandably was a strong favourite to follow up at UUttoxeter. He was unfortunate to be hampered going to the 4th fence which caused him to unseat Lee, but if they can avoid a similar mishap today, they should come out on top.

Can't Beat History came good with an emphatic first success at Market Rasen last month and has continued to please us at home since then. He's up 7lb but the manner of that success and the way he finished off his race over 2m5f suggests this 3m should suit him just as well. Big chance.

Cellar Club was last of four finishers at Bangor on Tuesday. She's guaranteed a '3' next to her name today but only accidents for either of the other two would give her the chance of better. It will be easier to plan for her when she gets a handicap mark.

Pillar Of Steel did it nicely under Jamie when winning at Stratford five weeks ago. He's up 5lb for that but he has run well when placed around here and we have to be hopeful they can follow up successfully together today.

Cellar Club has shown little in a bumper and hurdle. She will know more about it today, but she is still sure to be oe of the outsiders and will probably not be competitive until she can run in her own grade in handicaps.

It's How We Roll was very unlucky not to win last time at Epsom. He's a grand old-timer who always runs his race and he loves Windsor. Hoping for a big run.

Grimley Boy didn't get round in any of his points. We will be hoping for better on stable and Rules debut, but an unlikely winner at 250/1!

It's How We Roll ran very well, running on into 3rd after a slow start at Bath. If he can get away on terms, he should be right in there pitching at the death.

Can't Beat History ended last season with a close 2nd over hurdles at Doncaster. He hasn't managed to replicate that in three runs since, including over fences last time, but he looks to be a contender in this rather trappy novices' handicap chase.

Cellar Club showed she still had plenty to learn when always behind on her debut at Newton Abbot. She should improve a little on that but still probably not enough to bring her into contention.

It's How We Roll won at Windsor in June but has disappointed twice since. He is a previous course and distance winner though and if he could get the Windsor form back he would hold a good each-way chance.

Can't Beat History didn't achieve much over hurdles. The hope is that starting from a low mark, he might do better as a chaser.

Cellar Club is a filly making her debut from a jumping family. She will probably be better for this first experience of the racetrack.

It's How We Roll didn't come back right after his last run at Bath, but before that, he won over this CD, for the third time. He seems to be in good order again and has each-way claims in an open handicap.

It's How We Roll took a few runs to get his eye in but he beat a big field comfortably in a 0-50 Classified last time at Windsor. Up to 54 here, that should not stop this previous CD winner from going very close.

A Sure Welcome ran a little better second time out for us. A frequent winner for the late John Spearing who loved to bring his horses to Windsor, he won this race 12 months ago off 5lb higher. Value each-way bet for this tough old campaigner.

It's How We Roll ran easily his best race since joining us when 3rd at Brighton behind a short-priced favourite. He could again have each-way potential tonight.

Jessmae did win a point but was beaten a long way on stable and hurdles debut last month. He is best watched until able to run in handicaps over three miles.

A Sure Welcome didn't get a clear run at any stage of his last race at Windsor. Sure to have an each-way chance if he can avoid the scrimmaging tonight.

Pillar Of Steel returns after a break. This course and distance winner is only 1lb higher than for his last winning mark. He is sure to come on for the run but has small each-way claims today.

This represents a drop in class for No Rematch. The step up in trip should ensure he will finish in the mix.

Can't Beat History was beaten a whisker two runs back but stepping up to 3m proved a step too far last time. Back at 2m4f, he has a great each-way chance tonight.

Try The Money has been beaten a long way in both his starts to date, but the step up in trip is a plus. He would still need to show more for betting purposes.

Captain Attridge has had a couple of runs over hurdles without setting the world on fire. Second twice on the flat in Ireland as a young horse, he is probably best watched until handicapped over hurdles.

A Sure Welcome was running well last summer for the late John Spearing. He has been working well, but on his first run since October he will probably be sharper for the outing.

Adamhill made a small step forward last time. He needs to make another similar improvement to get involved, but with ground and trip to his liking, he could be challenging for a place.

Try The Money had a couple of runs at Chepstow last month. He didn't show much in either and is probably best watched today.

It's How We Roll was slowly away first time out for the stable at Bath and never got involved. We will be hoping for a better start this time on a track where he's been a regular visitor in the past, often running into a place. Small each-way chance today if he gets away on terms.

Can't Beat History ran a blinder last time at Doncaster when his rallying effort just failed in a tight finish. He takes a big step up in trip but this should be a positive for this ex-Irish point-to-pointer. Each-way chances.

Gentle Frank is a nice horse who has been progressive and broke his maiden at Doncaster last time winning by a wide margin in a four-horse race. He's still raw and this is more competitive, but the ground and trip are ideal and he should have his chance.

Try The Money was never in contention on debut around here a couple of weeks ago. He is still learning his job and is best watched.

Adamhill is probably best watched. He has done very little of note in his races since joining from Ireland and his recent first run back after a wind-op wasn't too encouraging. They can always do better next time though and as the ground and trip should be ideal he could show improvement.

Captain Attridge had a couple of runs on the flat in Ireland as a 2yo and then after a long absence had a spin around Wolverhampton last month. He was 6th on hurdles debut at Southwell and we hope he can improve on that today.

It's How We Roll was a course and distance winner for previous trainer John Spearing. It was sad to hear of John's passing earlier this month and we hope we can do justice to his training, for the owners who have continued with the horse. He's in good nick after his break but will be better for the run.

Adamhill has been disappointing. He has had his wind operated on since his 4th of 5 last time and hopefully that will bring improvement.

Key Factor has started handicapping on a very low mark but was still beaten a long way in 4th off 83 last time. Down 4lb today and at the foot of the weights, he may make the framer.

Striking Out has been running well this season without quite getting the job done. Another chance for him here and an obvious each-way shout if not better.

Skinflint has won his last two around here in determined fashion. Up a combined 17lb, we have to hope that this remarkable 11yo is still progressing.

Shutthegate is in good order but his form is patchy, although he did win well at Chepstow last time. The track and trip should both be ideal but the ground is a major worry for me.

Fortune Cookie seems in good nick. She didn't come back right from her last race , but a drop in class is a big plus. Drying ground would be the only concern.

Try The Money is a nice young horse. He is probably best watched on this debut.

Patient Owner was never going at Chepstow two weeks ago but he remains in good nick. He is worth another chance and has small each-way claims.

From This Moment has his first run since joining us and makes his debut over fences. He goes well at home and on that he seems well handicapped. Ground and track should be fine.

Bells Of Wexford is only a 6yo but he has made bright start to his career over fences with a win first time and two runs in the money. This looks a decent opportunity to get his head back in front.

Patient Owner is in good form and has the ground, trip and track very much to his advantage. That said he has an each-way chance in a very open handicap and does not represent great value accordingly.

Generous Day was running well until finding better class opposition too strong at Kempton last month. Although now firmly in the veteran stage, he must have a fair chance of going very close in this four-runner line-up.

Coastguard Station ran two good races at Doncaster before the turn of the year. He has a big weight but there's nothing of Haddex Des Obeaux's class against him here and we have to be very hopeful he can resume winning ways.

Shutthegate has his first outing for us having joined from John Spearing. Jamie Moore usually rode him before and travels over for the mount. Chances on his best form especially if the first-time blinkers work.

Skinflint did it very nicely last time at Chepstow, there all the way and running home strongly for an overdue first win under Rules. He's 10lb higher but he remains in form and has a bright chance of a follow-up success.

Captain Attridge makes his stable/UK debut. He previously was with Fozzy Stack in Ireland and we will have more of an idea of his potential after he runs here tonight.

Striking Out has been knocking on the door and looked the likely winner until moving markedly left aound the last bend at Hereford. Back going left-handed on a suitable track, he deserves to get his head in front here.

Boys Of Wexford is in good nick and the ground will be ideal for him. He won on chase debut at Uttoxeter and was far from disgraced when beating all bar Supasunrise at Huntingdon. Big chance.

Key Factor has not been showing loads but he took a step forward last time. The ground and track today should be suitable and as he is on a faiur mark, he has small place claims.

There were excuses for The Big Bite on both his latest outings. Third in this race last year, he now runs off 9lb lower and with the ground very much to his liking, he has to have a nice shout at finishing in the money again.

Gentle Frank is in good form and ran very well last time over this course and distance. He should be thereabouts today and we think he has a solid chance.

Gererous Day goes back up in trip over a course and distance he's won at previously. The two miles at Hereford last month was clearly inadequate and now back here, he has a small each-way chance at a value price.

Can't Beat History made an improved performance last time and will appreciate today's better ground. He starts handicapping on a workable mark and has small each-way claims today.

Adamhill has yet to finish in the frame but he did run okay when 5th to today's favourite under a massive weight first time over fences. He's again within 1lb of top-weight and needs to show much more than last time to be competitive. The drying ground is not in his favour either.

Jessie Lightfoot won easily on stable debut at Southwell and last time at Fakenham was brought down when still in contention. She is in good form at home and seems none the worse for her tumble. Claims on her best form for this course and distance winner for her previous stable.

Patient Owner ran a great race first time out over fences at Uttoxeter, just outstayed at the finish after looking to sure to make a winning start. He looks nicely placed in this handicap and should enjoy the testing track. Hopeful.

Striking Out ran a blinder first time over fences at Ludlow, staying on strongly from the last fence to get within a head of well-handicapped Fire Dancer. Up 2lb for that, this hurdles course winner must have a great chance of going one better.

Fortune Cookie ran okay last time. He is stepping up in trip here, which should help, but he needs to show a lot more to get involved here.

Adamhill has been schooling well in preparation for this first run in a handicap hurdle. He should shape better now and could have small place claims.  

Generous Day comes here on the back of a win and a good 2nd on his last two runs at 2m4f. The drop back to 2m should not inconvenience him and we are hoping for another solid effort. Each-way chance at least.

Can't Beat History showed promise when 2nd in a bumper in Ireland but so far has found it tough going in his two runs over hurdles for us. This looks another daunting task for him.

Can't Beat History was placed in an Irish bumper but was well beaten on hurdles and stable debut at Market Rasen. This looks a very tough task on second start.

The policy of UK handicappers adding a mandatory 10lb to Irish ratings makes this opening 95 mark of Fortune Cookie pretty tough. A mistake at the 6th flight at Hereford on stable debut stopped her in her tracks and she was pulled up soon after. Hopefully, a clear round today in this mares' handicap hurdle will give us a better idea of how she might progress from now on.

Key Factor was moderate in points and has yet to show much in his two runs over hurdles. He's one for later on.

Striking Out won a hurdle last season and returns for his chase debut after a seven-month break. He is working well and is in good nick so needs to make a start. I can't see anything beating the Venetia Williams horse, though, who gets in on 114 yet has beaten horses rated far higher in France.

Gentle Frank had form in point-to-points and ran well on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in November. The JP/Nicky Henderson looks a fine prospect and Frank is probably best watched until he gets a handicap mark. 

Skinflint is in good form at home and his CD 2nd on his most recent run back in Ferbruary puts him in with a live chance. While he is not only to fully trust, he has a top man onboard who is sure to get the best out of him.

Jessie Lightfoot is in great form and the ground will be ideal. She won impresssively last time, but is up 10lb, and while she has a live chance, she is a very short price. Hopeful.

Patient Owner showed promise over hurdles last season. He's bred to be a better chaser and starts in this novice handicap off a slightly reduced mark. Each-way shout in an open event.

Non-runner

Generous Day took advantage of a lower mark when making all last time at Southwell, but the handicapper has not wasted time in putting him back up again. Can still be competitive as he's in great form and I'm hopeful he can at least go close again here.

Coastguard Station made a winning debut over fences around here last month. He's up in class today but the track and ground are ideal and he looks a nice each-way bet at 14/1.

Adamhill has yet to finish in the first four either in bumpers or his two runs in novice hurdles. He did get a little closer last time but is sure to be a big outsider again today and it will not be until he can meet his own class in low-grade handicaps that we will be holding out any extravagant expectations.

This is a very competitive race but The Big Bote is dropping back in trip and is back down to his last winning mark having been a fair bit higher. A previous course winner, he has each-way chances with that Newcastle run in the Rehearsal Chase to tighten him up behind him.

Boys Of Wexford won nicely last time at Uttoxeter. He remains in good form and still looks well weighted. He enjoyed forcing the pace there and I'm hopeful he can put in a repeat performance here.

Can't Beat History is a promising horse who has been working well. He has some nice Irish bumper form but this is a competitive novice hurdle and he might be best watched on jumps/stable debut.

Boys Of Wexford won his latest race at Uttoxeter in great style. He is in good form and still weighted to go well. He enjoyed forcing the pace there and similar tactics could work again.

Fortune Cookie makes his debut for the stable today just 3lb off top-weight in this 0-100 handicap hurdle. Back in Ireland he was tailed off in his only handicap off a mark 10lb lower. It's hard to see how he can be a factor here and he is clearly best watched today.

Jessie Lightfoot makes his stable debut after nine months off the track. A winner at Market Rasen in February, we are looking forward to seeing her ack in action today.

Adamhill is a long way behind these on anything he's shown to date. Best watched today.

The Big Bite resumes action in a very competitive Rehearsal Chase but we have to be encouraged by the form of the horses and he seems very well in himself. He has been rated higher in the past and showed a couple of times last season he retains his ability. Hoping for a share of the money on offer.

Coastguard Station is in good nick and will have come on for his comeback run after a long break at Fakenham the other day. He has a live chance here hopefully with the ground ideal for him.

Generous Day is getting to the veteran stage but he did show at times last season there is still life in the old boy. He needed his comeback run over hurdles the other day and I'm hoping we'll see a little more from him back over fences today.

Patient Owner is in good nick and looks to be on a workable mark. He hasn't had his required soft ground yet but conditons will be ideal today and he looks to have a small each-way chance.

Boys Of Wexfod has been schooling well but hasn't shown enough yet to be of interest today.

This has come down to a four-runner race. Coastguard Station heads the weights and after his promising return when third at Fakenham, he should have every chance.

Non-runner

Gentle Frank is our second runner in this novice hurdle, and he showed promise in the last of his three runs in UK points. One for the future.

Adamhill makes his stable debut after a long absence. He's shown little bits of form in bumpers but needs to find more switched to hurdles.

Ex-pointer Key Factor pulled too hard early on Rules debut at Chepstow the other day and had to be pulled up. Hopefully he will be less headstrong today and we want him to show us a little more of what he can do

Back from a fair break of 306 days but we are starting him back over hurdles today as his mark is a lot lower - 14lbs - than over fences. Also eased into a Class 5 here will help and although sure to improve for this would be dangerous to rule out if getting into a nice stride up top. Each-way. 

Back from a break and been pulled up the last twice so a bit to answer at the moment. On a plus, is certainly capable of better and is down another 5lbs here and has only had 6 career runs, but would like to see more on the track first.

One of two runners on the day for us and our better chance of getting something. Nice winner at Sedgefield back in May but struggled the last day at Cartmel. So we gave him a break and a wind op over the summer, which we feel will help. Stays further than this trip, but on first run back this 2m6f distance looks ideal. Likely to improve for this but would still have a small e/w chance.

Won well at Southwell two runs back but flopped as favourite the last day at Southwell. Ran a bit too free that day so we gave him a break to get over it. We think this front runners track will suit as he also likes to get on with things and Ben Godfrey rides this time to take off a handy 3lbs. A better race though so more needed and the Watson horse feared, but hopeful the break has done him good and would have an e/w chance.

Pointer that's having his first run for the yard today under rules. Work in progress though and likely to be better once handicapped.

Beaten market leader the last day, but is much better than that - ran too free. Had 5 1/2 months off after that run to get over it and we are helping him with Ben taking off 3lbs. Won well two runs back at Southwell and a repeat of that would make him hard to beat. Bit to prove, but seems well and doesn't look a great contest.

Won well at Newton Abbot back in June but made too many mistakes last time at Stratford last time. We gave him a month off after that run and the step back up in trip here will help. Acts well on the good ground too and in a race that lacks depth behind the short favourite - Ange Endormi - we'd have place chances.

Ar Mest spent his first season for us running over fences. Now, after an early-summer break he returns but back over hurdles where his form for his previous stable was better overall. Might be ready to prove that opinion.

11 years-old now, but in good form at the moment - winning last time by a narrow margin bu has come out of that race well and is back to Stratford - a track he's got winning form at. 3lbs higher here but hoping we've found another good chance for the horse. Should go well.

Former winning Pointer - First run for us last time at Market Rasen, but down the field that day. We learned a fair bit and think the drop back to 2m here will help as got a bit tired the last day over 2m4f. Hopeful of better but need to show more in terms of betting purposes. The Watson and King horses look the obvious calls here, with Al Zaraqaan a useful flat horse switching to hurdles.

Two silver medals to her name in recent runs, but well back each time to be fair - the last came on her first run back from a wind-op too so should be a lot sharper this time. Dropped a pound helps too and eased into a Class 5 this time makes life easier. In good nick at home and gets plenty of weight from the Menzies and King runners, so if building on recent run has a small e/w chance.

Villanesque had bits of form in Irish points and then won a couple when transferred to the UK this spring. They may not have taken a lot of winning but are valuable experience coming to this mares' noviuce hurdle. She's workmanlike rather than brilliant but could easily run through into a place in the closing stages as she stays well.

Can ignore the last run at Bath as didn’t get the best of runs. Before that had run well at Windsor and won at Bath in April too. Only 2lbs higher here than that last win and with a bit better luck in-running can’t be ruled out – each-way. 

11 year-old now but has been running well without winning at the moment - third and second the last twice over hurdles. Same mark again gives him a leading chance on chase debut but the winner of the last race (when 2nd) didn't really frank that form last time. That said, our horse is well and is expected to go well again in a poor-looking race. Has schooled well and hoping the new test over the bigger obstacles will freshen things up, with the sharp track a plus too.

Yet to win from 7 runs, but has had a wind op since her last race and expected to improve for that. Needed the op after running flat the last twice and felt something wasn't right. Visor and tongue-tieon today too for the first time to help. Place chance, but the Mulholland horse is the one to beat.

CD winner here last time two runs back - didn't run too badly last time at Windsor, was only beaten 1 1/2 lengths. Back to this track will suit and well after a 3 weeks break. Ground is fine and should have another nice e/w chance.

Won well at Hereford two runs ago but disappointed us the last day at Worcester when upped in trip and the slow gallop that day didn't suit either. Back down here in trip will help and into a handicap for the first time here too. The McCain and O'Brien runners look the dangers but hoping after travelling okay last time and can be a lot more competitive over this trip - even going an even gallop.

Not getting any younger at 11, but back last month with a close third at Ludlow and gets in here off the same mark. Trip and ground are fine and has come out of that last race well. Lee Edwards rides and expected to have a nice e/w chance here today and should be in the mix.

Had around 3 weeks off since winning at Sedgefield at the start of the month. Up a bit of a harsh 11lbs for that though here so will need to come on again but going the right way over fences and only had 5 chase runs. Second horse that day has won since so that gives us confidence too. Will probably need to improve again, but hopeful he's got a leading chance again with Brian Hughes riding again too.

Merweb is in good order. He has a live each-way chance.

Course winner that didn’t stay the 2m4f trip last time so the drop back to 2m here is a plus. Into a Class 5 race here too helps and we’ve booked a 7lb claimer to help with his 12-0 weight. In good form at home and a much better chance here today with the ground fine too.

Only 4 runners and really with one being a 100/1 shot we've just got two to beat. Won well at Hereford last time out at the start of April on rules debut - was a former Point winner. Well after a break and we feel the longer trip here will suit. Should go well.

Former winning pointer but is yet to win a race under rules. 3lbs lower than a recent run down the field at Ludlow the last day so more needed on that but only 10-6 in weight helps. Ground is fine and small e/w chance but does need to find something. 

Nice winner here last time in a maiden hurdle - into a handicap here but has come out of that race well and had a small 1 month break to freshen up. Will love the good ground so should have another big chance here and looks one of our better chances of a winner today.

3 second in his last 4 runs so been knocking at the door. Dropped in grade here into a Class 5 so every chance but as a result does have 12-2 to carry. Feel the longer trip is within range too and the Southwell track will be fine. Jonjo and Bowen horses to fear but every chance.

Running okay at the moment but has only one win to her name and that came over hurdles. Is 0-from-15 over fences so a bit to answer on that front too but is down another 2lbs from that last run which helps. Place chance, but the Williams horse the one to beat really.

Nice winner at Stratford back in October and has had a nice break since. Up 5lbs on that win here but has been freshened up well and been waiting for the better ground. Should not be far away. Each-way.

Bit disappointed with his run at Warwick last time as a beaten favourite. 3lbs lower for that run and Brian Hughes takes over in the saddle. The longer trip here and the blinkers on for the first time will help and doesn't look a great race. Still to win a race is the small negative but is more than capable of taking a contest like this.

Only third run for us today - has run two fair races on the AW but we feel the switch to turf will help and rated 4lbs lower on the grass. Good draw in 1 and Charles Bishop a plus in the saddle. Place chance.

Still to win a race from 10 runs - better run the last day when third at Taunton a few weeks ago. Down 3lbs from that last run helps and is fine on the ground. Low weight (10-7) and so we feel we've got a leading e/w chance here if running to the same level as last time, with the Williams horse to beat.

Kept on well the last day over 3m - 3lbs lower this time and Toby Wynne booked to ride to claim a further 7lbs. We are also putting on the tongue-tie this time as we feel that will help her breathing. No shock to see a step forward - Each-way chance.

Unseated early on the last day at Bangor but none the worse for that. Had been running well before that with a couple of seconds Same mark as last time so we come here with a good chance. 

Back into a mares' only race here will help - ran well here at Leicester two runs back. Only10st helps but in this better race we are running 2lbs out of the handicap too. Ground is fine and didn't stay the 3m3f trip last time so the drop back will help. Also has had a bit of time off since her last run as didn't come back right. Track and trip are fine and a light weight helps - small e/w

Has run well the last twice without winning - 2nd and 3rd at Leicester. Same mark here as last time and still only has 10-6 in weight to carry. The big change here is the step up to 3m, but we feel it will suit and if so would have a big chance here - not much value but should be in the mix.

Ran well last time at Chelmsford (4^th of 15). That was his first run for us, so we learned a lot. Step up in trip will help and also got hampered the last day so feel he would have got closer. Jo Supple rides to claim 3lbs and should get a nice ride. Solid e/w chance

Gone close the last two runs at Newcastle and  gets in here on the same mark as last time so should have another big chance - just got there a bit too soon last time. Well after a month off and expected to go close here today on the sharp track that will suit.

No great shakes the last twice - the last of those being pulled up at Southwell. 5lbs lower here helps and not a great race helps. We think the longer trip will help too, but plenty to prove at the moment. Best watched for now.

Yet to win a race from 9 runs. A bit of an experiment here as upped to 2m7f - the furthest he's gone to date. We feel it's worth a crack though and might open doors for the horse if he stays. Dropped 4lbs more and nice racing weight of 10-9. Small e/w but not one to trust totally.

Took a big step forward last time out at Fakenham with a close second. Has come out of that race well and so in a similar contest here we feel he's got a big chance of going one better this time.

Former Pointer that is having his rules debut. Might just improve for the run as not been on a track since December, but has been working well at home. Is a nice horse that is worth keeping an eye on going forward but should run well here today.

Rare runner on the flat for us here. First run for the yard after coming from the Ron Harris team. An experienced sort and doesn't look badly-treated on old form. Has been running well and comes to us fit and well. But we'll learn more here today and is also first run here at the track. Small e/w chance.

Not been competitive in three handicaps for us since coming over from Ireland. Pulled up the last day at Chepstow but the better ground expected to help here today. Best watched though until we see more, but hopeful of a better run than last time. Wind Tor the obvious one to beat.

Won at Doncaster two runs back but couldn't back that up at Southwell last time. Back to Uttoxeter will suit though as a past CD winner here and the better ground will help too. Open race - each-way chance.

Reaching for the first-time visor to try and sharpened him up here as needs to improve on his last few runs. Dropped 5lbs from last time helps and we think the step back up in trip will also help. But overall hoping for a better run, but needs to show more and not one to totally trust.

Needed the run the last day at Hereford - was only first run for us too after coming from Ireland. Into a Maiden Hurdle here and should have a much better chance of being involved. Each-way chance but Rewired the likely winner.

Better run last time at Leicester (2nd) to Cut The Mustard and is actually down a pound for that here. The big difference is the step up to 3m3f (from 2m4f) but she stayed on well the last day to suggest it'll suit. Should not be far away if that's the case.

Tight little race but delighted with his second here last time - beaten just a neck. 2lbs higher but gets in with just 10-7 as upped slightly in grade. Brian Hughes an plus in the saddle too and should go well.

Better last time out when second here over 2m6f - has come out of that race well and off the same mark this time. Nice racing weight helps and Alex takes off another 3lbs in the saddle. We also feel the cheekpieces on today will help and should have a nice e/w chance.

Well back the last day at Doncaster - dropped 5lbs for that here helps but likely to need more time with just four career runs and only once previous outing in a handicap.

Only had 7 runs still so will be more to come and is still learning. Chasing has always been the plan so hopeful he'll improve for a fence here today and is 5lbs lower than when running over hurdles. Schools well enough and won't mind the softer/heavy ground. Each-way.

Back to form last time out at Doncaster - winning by 6 lengths. up 7lbs for that here but we feel he's still not badly treated. Has had a nice break too since his last run and so another bold bid on the cards. The winner of the race 12 months ago - Ecossais - and recent winner Len Brennan have to be respected.

Delighted with his second here at Doncaster last time out - the form has been boosted since with the winner landing the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury. We get in here off the same mark as last time and has been freshened up with a month off. Is well and should have every chance.

Didn't jump well the last day at Taunton and was pulled up in the end. That was also his first run back from a wind op and is 4lbs lower this time so no surprise to see better. Longer trip and softer ground here a plus though and is rated 9lbs lower over fences than when winning over hurdles in Feb 20. Comes with risks but been jumping well at home and not without a chance if in the mood once the race starts! Small e/w chance.

Been running okay, but not quite finishing off his races. The drop in grade here will help a lot though, but does have 12-1 in weight as a result. Ben helps by taking off 3lbs though. We also feel this step up in trip is worth a try. Each-way.

Only had two runs since coming over from Ireland - just average efforts so far but is down another 4lbs here and Ben takes off another 3lbs. The big gamble here is the significant rise in trip - up to 3m2f. We feel it's worth a crack at this sort of level having run well over 3m in Ireland. Place chance.

Useful hurdler a few years back but lost his way a bit - we are his fifth trainer in the last year or so. First run for us and has settled in well. Came to us fit and well after a good run (2nd) at Leicester at the start of Feb. Yet to win a race over fences but has been placed in the top three 7 times from 9. Trappy little race but certainly not without a chance off this dropping mark.

Ex-flat horse that came to us from Mark Loughnane's yard. Only had 5 career runs on the level and not had the horse long. Schooled okay and jumps well - but goes without saying will learn a lot here today as we see if the trip is within range. Best watched today.

Nice mare, despite being pulled up on stable debut for us at Wetherby last month after coming over from Ireland - ran well for a long way that day in extreme ground though, which was a good sign. But will be better for that run and did have a lot of weight that day. Better race here but only 10-6 to carry as a result and the softer ground will help. No shock to see a better run from last time here, but probably place claims at best as don't think she's a betting option at the moment as still a bit to prove in and around this rating - last winning mark was nearer the 100 mark.

Two-time winning Pointer that we welcomed into the yard recently from Ireland. This looks a good place to get going with him but he's not been on the track since October so not only will we find out more here, but he's likely to need the run.

Only third run for us but has shown promise in opening two efforts to date at Uttoxeter and Leicester - placed both times. Down another pound from last time, softer ground is fine and seems well after a month off. Leading each-way chance.

Going the right way and took another step forward last time when third at Chepstow. That run qualified him for a handicap mark now though and so now into these races will have a much better chance. Will also enjoy the soft ground so looking forward to a decent run - shouldn't be far away.

Didn't get the best of starts last time as was impeded by another horse. Nice horse in the making though - Ran a fair race but got tired in the closing stages and was well back in the end. That was, however, only his second career run so will have more to come with experience, while the better ground here will suit. The Skelton horse sets a fair standard though so only really place chances here, but a horse to follow with a few more runs and once handicapped.

A horse that came to us from Ireland and had her debut at Warwick last time out over hurdles. Down the field that day and needed the run. Back over fences here will help and rated 4lbs lower than last time. Is also racing in a mares' only race and down in grade so should find this a bit easier. Doesn't look a great race and Brian Hughes booked to ride. Looks our best chance on the day in a dire contest.

Pulled up at Uttoxeter in December and was well back at Southwell the last day. We've given him a wind operation since his last run and returns on a 5lb lower rating than last time. Has also been hanging left-handed in recent races so will need to iron that out, but feel that the wind surgery will help on that front. This is also his first run over fences and has schooled well for this. Stays further than this trip too but this seems like a good place to start him off. Just hoping for an improved run and a solid effort first time over fences and build on that.

Only career win came on the AW on the flat so still hunting for first success over hurdles. First run back last time from a wind operation, but despite running well for much of the way didn't like the softer ground last time. Therefore, this slightly better surface will suit, but does need to put that last run behind him. Small e/w chance mainly due to the race not looking that hot outside the Gary Moore runner.

Fell last time out at Huntingdon but was well back at the time. Seems none the worse for that fall though and back here on a 2lb lower mark and Ben rides to claim 3lbs now too. Better ground will suit here and the horses seem to be running a lot better now too. No surpise if he left that last run behind him and  a small e/w chance.

Back over fences here after a poor run over hurdles last time at Chepstow, but will also be better for the good ground here today as don't think he really likes it soft. Fresh as a daisy and returns to the bigger obstacles on a just a 2lb higher mark than when last winning and on that form would have an each-way squeak.

Not great shakes so far but should be seen in a better light now into a handicap for the first time - scoped dirty last time but okay now. Has potential, while the trip and ground are fine and with just three runs over hurdles will have more in the locker to come. Small e/w chance.

Lost his way a bit in recent run and was last seen pulling up in December at Aintree - came back not right that day and had treatment since. Seems in better order now and a course winner here though so hoping the return to this track will help and has had a nice break since to freshen up. 3lbs lower than last time and starting to look better handicapped. Drop back to 2m is fine too and won't mind the better ground but does need to bounce back from recent average runs. Venetia's looks the one to beat, small e/w chance but only 7 runners and 2 places on offer!

The horses haven't been in the best of form - but they are scoping clean. First run for us since coming over from Ireland. One hurdle win over there from 16 runs but we’ve not had the horse long and was last on the track in November. That said has been schooling and working well (last Saturday), while the ground is fine so hoping she runs well. Each-way chance.

Been running okay over fences recently but is back over hurdles here on a much lower mark - 8lbs lower than last run and we've also got Ben back on to claim 3lbs. Won't mind the ground either and dangerous to ignore off this dropping rating. We feel we'd have a small e/w chance here in an open-looking affair.

Former winning Pointer that came to us from Ireland so very much a fact-finding mission here today. Yet to win a race over there but bits and pieces of form to work with. We’ll learn more here today.

Going the right way since coming to us from Ireland. Took another step forward the last day at Plumpton and stayed on well over 2m there so the step up in trip will suit. Will ride more patiently here to try and get the trip, while it's the owner's choice to come here. Into a handicap for the first time too and that will help. Small e/w chance if lasting out. Kevin Brogan rides.

Top return run last month after 2 years off (2nd). Has done well since at home and just 2lbs higher here. We were pleased with the way he travelled that day and we think the longer trip will improve him. I guess the dreaded 'bounce factor' is in play after such a time off, but he's been doing everything right at home and with a bit of improvement from that last run much have a great chance.

Sole career win came on the AW on the flat, but has only had 5 runs over hurdles. Ran well for much of the way last time at Market Rasen - just got a bit tired late on. We’ve had his wind done since that as he seemed to blow up quickly - but are happy with him at home now. Slight drop in trip will help here and we are also putting the tongue-tie on today. Softer ground too today, but has handled that well on the flat in the past. Open race, but like this think we’ve got place chances here as a horse with loads of ability just needs to show it more on the track. The Tom George horse - Coupdebol - looks well in to us also.

We were very happy with his debut run at Southwell last month (6^th) - he kept on well that day. Has done well at home since then and we feel he’s improved a lot for that experience too. Doesn’t look a great race with the Hobbs and Mulholland runners respected, but there is little depth to the race so that gives us a decent e/w chance too. While the ground, track and trip are fine.

Lightly-raced but slowly going the right way and a nice big strong horse that has form on this ground. An improved run last time at Leicester (6^th of 12) - a bit of a confidence booster - and won’t mind the heavy ground here today either. Hopeful of another step forward here but the Honeyball and Ralph runners will probably be taking this. We will get a handicap mark after today and will be one to follow thereafter, but no shock to see a step forward here today.

Hung a bit left-handed the last day at Uttoxeter but that will be okay here at Southwell. 4lbs lower than last run when pulled up at Uttoxeter, and is back to last winning mark. Any more rain will help though but better expected that last time. Last career win (Feb 20) also came of this mark so certainly capable of going okay at a nice price, but has been lightly-raced with just 3 runs since that win after having some issues.

Fair sort that is having his third run for us since coming over from Ireland - will be better once getting a handicap rating and will be one to follow thereafter. This looks a race that will rest between the Skelton and Murphy runners.

Hasn’t fired so far this season with three average runs. Down another 4lbs here and Alex takes off another 3lbs so that helps. Back to a track we know he likes too (course winner) while the drop back in trip on this softer ground will be fine. Is certainly better than recent runs so no shock to see him bounce back to form, but we’d probably like to see it on the track first.

Fair run on debut for us at Hereford in November - upped in trip last time at Chepstow but failed to stay that day so the drop back to 2m will help. Will get a handicap mark after this and that will help, but in a race that lacks depth outside the likely winner - Chanceaux - we'd have some e/w  claims.

Second runner in the race for us and a live e/w chance too. Has improved for his return run at Stratford at the end of October as that came off a long break. Wasn’t actually beaten far that day either. Did hang a bit left that day, but we’re not sure why - if that happened again here then the track will help.

Three-time winning Pointer that hasn’t been out for just over 2 years. Also first run for us so we’ll learn more here but seems to have settled in well and putting him back over hurdles to give him an easier introduction. Not doubt will improve for the run but not without an e/w chance.

Ran okay last time at Worcester until getting tired and falling late on. Jumped a bit right that day so the switch here to Leicester will suit on that score. Will also be better for the run as that came off an 8-month break. Should run well but will gain more experience here and one to follow once getting a handicap mark for sure. The Skelton, Williams and Murphy horses look the main players.

Won this race in 2019 and is a pound lower this time, so the track is fine and won't mind the ground. Any more rain would help though, but has won on good ground too. First-time blinkers on today to try and sharpen him up and will be better off for two runs back at Stratford at Uttoxeter recently. Good run expected with Each-way chance.

Nice well bred sort that is having his debut here today. Not a race to get too involved in as many lightly-raced sorts. Goes straight over hurdles and not into a bumper as he's been schooling okay and is doing well at home - will be better for the experience but looking forward to getting going with him. The Skelton horse should be taking this.

Down the field on debut in a NH Flat race at Warwick last time out. Expected to improve for going over hurdles but will need more time and experience.

Much better last time at Warwick - running 7^th of 15. Hopeful of another step forward here, but one to note really once getting handicapped.

Ran really well on debut for us last time at Hereford after coming over from Ireland. With another step forward can run well but does look a slightly better race than last time. Will be nearer to getting a handicap mark though and that last run gives us encouragement that he’ll be winning races - the step up in trip will also help.

Only got as far as the fourth last time out at Wetherby when unseating Jonathan Burke. Is fine after that and we’ve had this race in mind since as he likes it here at Aintree - course winner. Has his fair share of weight to carry (12-1) but has won with 11-12 in the past and that also came here at the track. Closely-matched with Umbrigado having run that one to third at Newbury last season and will probably need a career-best off this mark. But is well at home and with his conditions must have a small e/w chance at a nice price in a very open race.

Should have a leading chance here. Ran well over this course and distance last time when a close second and is only 3lbs higher. Looks a similar race and we help with his big weight with Jack Andrews claiming 5lbs. Be disappointed if he's not going close.

Out of sorts this season from opening two runs at Ludlow and Kempton but this is certainly a slightly easier race than last time. 3lbs lower and the good ground will be fine, plus heads here as a past course winner. Is certainly better than last runs, but did put it all in there and just got tired against some improving sorts. So is on a bit of a recovery mission here but the smaller field and ease in grade will suit. Paddy Brennan takes over and the horse's latest win (Feb 21) came with Paddy riding. Certainly would have a chance if turning up off just a 2lb higher mark than last win.

Got a bit tired over a longer trip last time so back to 2m here today will help. Down a few pounds for that run helps and the form of his debut run is working out okay with the first three winning since - we were fourth. Was a fair flat performer when trained by Alan King though so does have ability - but is just yet to find that same level over the sticks. Doesn’t look the best of races though so we feel we've got a live chance. Aidan Coleman rides.

Former Pointer that made his debut at Stratford last month over hurdles. Still learning and will gain more experience here, but likely to be better once getting a handicap mark, with the Skelton runner the obvious call here.

Course winner that will be a lot better for his last run at Stratford. That came off a break, while in this better grade will be helped by not having to carry 11-11 (like last time). We also feel the longer trip will help and Ben booked to ride to claim 5lbs. Should go well, might the Longsdon runner - Just Your Type - who won this race last season, is respected.

Lightly-raced horse that came to us from Ireland. Has some fair form over there despite not winning yet and has settled in and schooled well ahead of this debut for us. Should run well and looks a horse to follow going forward, but this could turn out to be an above average race with the Lee, Henderson and Pipe runners respected.

Needed the run the last day at Uttoxeter after a break - is down 3lbs here and upped in trip will help. Is also a bit down in grade here and Ben rides to claim 5lbs, so 8lbs better off overall. We also feel the first time visor will help here and that last run was also his first since a wind op. Overall, this should be an easier race for him and should have a leading e/w chance.

A non-runner last week with one eye on this race. Looks an easier chance in this Vets race with just three others. Returns from a wind op at the end of the summer having lost his way a bit recently. Returns on a 5lb lower mark too and not badly treated at the moment if able to recapture some form. Seems well at home though and we feel the recent wind op and the first time visor will help. In a race where the other three runners also look to have a bit to prove, we come here fresh and well and with a decent chance.

Needed the run back last time at Ludlow after a break. Has improved for that at home an the switch back from hurdles (last time) to fences here will suit. Does like it here at Kempton too (course winner), so no surprise to see a better performance from last time here. Each-way.

This 11 year-old is into a Vets race here today. Still enjoying his racing and seems well at home so we are going to give him another season at this stage. A horse with little secrets and a reputation of being placed more often than winning. But put that right last season at Ascot with a top win last March and only 2lbs higher this time. Looks a race with several others with similar chances though, but better ground will suit and happy with the horse - should have a decent e/w chance.

Nice filly, but debut run here today and will learn a lot. Very much one for the future but looking forward to seeing how she gets on.

Former Pointer but is yet to win a race - but has only had 6 runs and only two under rules (NH Flat) when trained in Ireland. First run, therefore, for us and also over hurdles so we'll find out plenty today. Looks a race between the first three in the market.

The Big Bite is a high-class chaser who did very well in even better-class races last season. He reppears in another competitive event and we'll be delighted if he starts off with a run in the money.

Dr Oakley is a stuffy horse and after more than 600 days off he will assuredly benefit from the run. That said, he is a decent performer and well handicapped. He has been working well and could run into a place.

Boys Of Wexford has been working and jumping nicely. He's a big price but we're hoping for an encouraging run working forward.

The ground should be fine for The Cinncinati Kid and he ran well last time. I see he has been backed this morning but that's nothing to do with me. I am a little worried about his wind - he makes a noise at home and while that doesn't seem to stop him, he probably needs checking. We'll ride him to get the longer trip and if he stays and the wind is okay, he ought to go close.

Rounded off last season with a nice win at Uttoxeter - had a nice break over the summer and hopeful of another nice campaign. Returns off a 9lb higher mark this time so will need to improve again, but is well at home and we feel he's got more to offer over fences. SHould go well, but with the Twiston-Davies camp winning the last three runnings of this, then their One Forty Seven is respected.

Had his problems - hence why he's returning from a 590-day break. Has shown ability in the past though and still has time on his side being just 7. Looks a nice race to get him going again in - not without a chance but just be delighted with a solid run with such a time off.

Second runner in the race for us - Did well over the summer, winning at Fontwell, but has lost his way a bit since. Returned from a break last time at Huntingdon just getting tired in the closing stages. Has come on for that run and the shorter trip here will help. Only 2lbs higher than last win gives him an e/w chance if bouncing back, but does look a competitive race.

Course winner that returns from a 4 month break. Has had a wind op during that time off and hopeful that will help him going forward. Trip and ground are fine and returns on a pound lower mark than when last seen back in June (3rd). No No Maestro to beat, but we'd like to think we'd have a fair e/w chance here.

Back from a break - last seen at the end of March over fences. Returns over hurdles here today though as rated much lower over the smaller obstacles. Trip and ground is fine - can be expected to come on for the run having been off the track for a while, but has gone well fresh in the past, so not without e/w claims - Seems well at home and should be picking up a race or two again this season.

Did well earlier over the summer but flopped as favourite last time out at Worcester. We, therefore, gave him a break since so returns from around 3 months off here and seems well for that break. Trip and ground is fine and same mark as last time too. You'd need to forgive that last run but has run well off a break before and no shock to see him bounce back to form - each-way chance off what looks a competitive mark.

First run for the yard having come from the Alan King team. Fair flat performer, with sole career win coming on the AW. But has only had two runs over hurdles so we feel there is more to come. We'll find out more here today and might just need the run after 6 months off the track, but has schooled well and should be races in him this season over the sticks. The Evan Williams and Skelton runners look likely to fight this one out.

Won at Southwell two runs ago but that was only a Selling Handicap. Couldn’t build on that last time out at Worcester in a handicap (3^rd), but is down 3lbs here which helps. Only third run for us after coming over from Ireland and seems well for having a few months off. Taking on several recent winners though so probably only small e/w chance.

Ran flat the last day at Worcester so we gave him a break. Returns from 2 months off and gets in here with a nice racing weight of 10-8. Hoping the ground stays on the quicker side and if running to the level earlier this summer then not without a small place chance if bouncing back to form, but does look an open affair.

Did well back in May and June, but ran below par last time at Worcester when a beaten favourite. We've given him a few months off to freshen up and returns to Fontwell - a track he won at back in May. Only 4lbs higher than that last win and this slight drop back in trip will help. Needs to bounce back but seems well at home and no shock to see a better run than last time here, but hoping the overnight rain hasn't got in the ground too much, with better form on good ground.

Delighted with his debut win for the yard at Southwell last month - was an easier race than this and into a handicap here now will make life a bit harder. But has taken that race well and Ben's 5lb claim a help. Probably will need to improve to beat the Jonjo horse, but should run well with ground and trip perfect.

In great form at the moment - having won two of his last four and been second in the other two. Hoping he just ran into a well-handicapped sort last time (2nd) here so off the same mark no reason why he can't go close again here. Had just over 3 weeks to get over that last run too and seems well for it. Looking forward to a solid run and should be bang there.

Yet to win a race from 13 runs under rules, but gone close several times - including last time out here when third. Up just a pound for that run and was also hampered early on in that race. Back up in trip here will be okay and the ground is perfect. We are hopeful that with this only being his third run over fences there is more to come. Each-way.

Pleasing run to be fourth at Aintree last month after 3 months off. Down a few pounds for that and Kevin, who rode last time, can now claim a handy 5lbs so overall 7lbs better off. We also feel the step up in trip here will help as was a bit one-paced towards the end of the race last time. Ground is fine and looks to have a leading chance.

Looks to have a big chance now dropped into a Selling Hurdle based on past form. But this is the horse's first run for us after coming over from Ireland so we'll find out more here ourselves too. That said, has settled in well and this looks a very weak race and on the official rating, plus with Ben's 5lb claim, should make him hard to beat. Fergal's horse looks the main danger.

Still work in progress with only a couple of runs in NH Flat races. Debut over hurdles today and has schooled well enough ahead of this but likely to be better once handicapped and with a bit more experience.

In great form at the moment – winning his last two. Up 4lbs for his last win at Fontwell looks fair and had three weeks to get over that last run. Both recent wins have been on quicker ground so conditions look ideal again, but the drop back a few furlongs here in trip will help if it does come up softer if there is any more rain. In great form and anther big run on the cards. To us, Jaunty Soria looks the main danger.

Yet to win a race from 12 starts under rules, but has done okay since joining us on his last four outings. Slightly longer trip here will help and we are fitting him with a tongue-tie here today to assist with his breathing. In good order but only concern is that he might not be that well handicapped unless the race falls apart. Small place chance.

The Hobbs and O'Brien runners are respected but we are not without a chance. Last seen running fourth here last month and seems to have come on well at home for that. Down a pound helps and will love conditions. With a bit of improvement from last time should not be far away.

Ran flat last time out at Sedgefield so we gave him a break since that run in March. Seems well at home, but needs to bounce back to get involved so prefer to see it on the track before being more confident really.

Won well at Chepstow last month - we've given him a small break since and he's up 5lbs here but will have his conditions again here today and looks to have a leading chance of following up. Should not be far away.

Just got run out of things last time out at Uttoxeter (2nd) over 2m4f. Therefore, the drop back to 2m we think will help, but has been raised 3lbs for that too. Had shown some fair form (without winning) when trained in Ireland and this looks another suitable race for him. Should not be far away again, with the Peter Bowen runner the one we've probably got to beat.

Ran well to be 7th in the Foxhunters' at Aintree last time - this drop in grade will be more to his liking and Zac Baker, who rode that day, remains in the saddle. The Fergal O'Brien horse - Captain Cattistock - is the likely danger, but he's well at home and won't mind the step up to 3m1f here in a race he won last time it was run in 2019.

A horse that came to us from the Gordon Elliott yard in Ireland - has only had two runs for us since, but isn't the most straight forward either. Was in the process of running a big race last time at Bangor when unseating Lorcan Williams three out. Seems none-the-worse for that and off the same mark should have every chance. Olympic Honour is now a NR so that helps us too and has increased our chance. Should not be far away and have a decent e/w chance.

Looks to have a leading chance here after winning at Chepstow last month - his first career win. Up 5lbs for that win here but we gave him a month off to recover and seems well for it. Nick Schofield takes over in the saddle, but knows the horse well and now he's got his head in front we are hoping that confidence will eke out a bit more improvement. Should have a good chance.

11 year-old now, but still showing up well in his races. Returned to form last time out at Stratford with a close third. Down a few pounds from that helps and we've got Ben Godfrey riding to claim 5lbs here too, so overall 7lbs better off. Slight step up in trip is fine and won't mind the ground or any more rain if it comes. Place chance.

Only had the one career run and that came back in Oct 19 for Chirstian Williams (NH Flat race). So first run for us and first outing for a long time - therefore, can be expected to improve for this but nice to get going with him. Probably not a race to get too involed in with a lot of lightly-raced and unraced sorts that could be anything. So, just looking for a nice run back and go from there.

Had a break after a few poor runs and returns on only a 2lb higher mark than last win back in November. The cheekpieces should help (first time) and has gone well fresh in the past. Better ground will suit but overall does have a bit to prove at the moment so just a small e/w chance.

Only had the one career run and that came back in Oct 19 for Chirstian Williams (NH Flat race). So first run for us and first outing for a long time - therefore, can be expected to improve for this but nice to get going with him.

Yet to win a race from 16 starts so a bit to prove still - well back on return run at Warwick last month too on first run back from a wind op - 6lbs lower here and hopeful the longer trip will suit but needs to show more on the track with the first-time visor on today - best watched.

Nice winner at Southwell last time out - up 7lbs for that here but had plenty of time to get over that run and is a course winner here at Warwick. Wore the visor for the first time last time and on again today - we hope it has the same impact and if so would have e/w claims.

The Skelton horse - Dan Gun - might be hard to beat, but if building on that last run would have an e/w chance here.

Lot more needed from what she's shown on the track so far. But will gain more experience here and will be more competitive once getting a handicap mark.

Great to see the old boy win last time out at Ascot. He's got a reputation as a horse that throws in the towel in the closing stages but knuckled down nicely the last day to get the job done. We all know he's a talented horse so it's surprising he's only won twice over fences, but he's come out of that last race well and is only up 4lbs. His only other win over fences came here over this CD, so that gives us confidence too. Will love the ground and is still well-treated on old form. Each-way chance.

Frustrating horse at time as has the ability to win races like this. Did everything right last time in the Greatwood Gold Cup until the last when he hung and nearly ran out. Threw the race away really to eventually be third and even though it was still a decent run it was disappointing as we know the horse is better than that. We also got raised 4lbs for our troubles. Has run at the Festival a few times so has tasted the track, but highly tried in the Bumper (18) and Supreme Novices' (19). Will love the ground and had a month off to get over that last race. Has still only been out of the top three once from his 6 runs over fences and should again be in the mix - hopefully can make amends for last time here.

Can ignore the last run as got badly impeded by a faller, so actually still did well to finish only 13 lengths off the winner. Ben Godfrey returns to the saddle to take off a handy 5lbs and run prior to last time was a close second at Warwick. A repeat of that and with a bit more luck in-running would give him an e/w chance.

15 race maiden but has shown glimmers of form when trained in Ireland. Should also be much more at home on the better ground today and we've had her wind operated on since her last run. 6lbs lower than last time and the jockey can claim 7lbs too so a lot better off this time too. Cheekpieces to help her settle and in a competitive race hopeful of better and small e/w chance. 

Didn't run too bad in the Kim Muir last time - just getting tired in the final half a mile or so. 3lbs lower in the ratings here and we get in with just 10-4 in weight so that helps. Putting the blinkers on to sharpen him up and will love the ground. Stays this trip well and even though a bit to prove at the moment no shock if he ran better than odds suggest.

Returned to form last time at Hereford with a fair second. Had a light racing weight that day and does do again here (10-2), while the drop back in trip will be a plus after just running out of petrol over 2 furlongs longer last time. Only second run for us after coming from the Christian Williams yard. If building slightly on that last race will go well.

In good order at home and will love the Spring ground. Ran well off a long break last time at Leicester, when third in a Hunter Chase at Leicester behind Cat Tiger. Take that horse on again here, but 3lbs better off and will be better for that run. The horse also has experience over the fences after running 8th in the Grand Sefton here in Dec 19. Good jockey booked (Zac Baker) for a race like this too and granted a clear round would have e/w claims.

Average race, so that would give us a chance. 16lbs lower than handicap debut three runs ago and we are 5lbs lower than last time, when down the field at Hereford. Track should suit better and the longer trip is a plus too. Horses are going well, so that gives us some hope of an improved run here today, but overall has been largely disappointing and had her problems so would need to show more here today.

12 years-old now and into a Veterans race here today. Stays further than this 3m1f trip so that will be fine and the ground is okay too - acts on most. Our horses seem in good overall form at the moment too and in a race that we are taking on similar old timers then must have a small e/w squeak, with proven stamina in his locker.

Yet to win a race from 23 starts, but has been placed many times. Delighted with his run last time at Uttoxeter (3rd) - down 3lbs for that helps and we are into an easier class too. Has come out of that race well and should have every chance with no issues surrounding trip, ground or track. Decent e/w chance.

Struggled a bit the last day over further so the drop back in trip will help and is 3lbs lower here too - doesn't seem to be putting it all in as we know he's better than that. That was, however, only his first run back since a wind op and the visor is on today for the first time to help. Ground okay and not badly treated on old form, having won off a 7lb higher rating in the past. Each-way chance in an average race, but is a horse that does come with a few risks

Only second career run after last seen running down the field at Catterick in a NH Flat race back in December. Hopeful she'll be better on the good ground and has schooled well for this hurdles debut, but the main two in the betting set a fair standard and likely to be better with experience and then a handicap mark.

Bounced back to form last time out at Hereford with a 6 length win. Up 7lbs for that but has had a month off to get over that race with this race in mind. Loves it here at Warwick - has won twice in the past, including this race in 2019 when it was last run. Is 9lbs higher than that win, but has won off higher in the past so still not too badly treated. Good ground is perfect too and should have every chance of going well at a track he loves, with the Skelton horse looking the one to beat.

Another Sam Twiston-Davies rides today so hoping he'll benefit from his experience. A bit outpaced last time at Taunton so the longer trip here will be in his favour and down a pound here too. Does need to show a bit more, but still lightly-raced (7 runs) and in what looks an average race no shock if he ran into a place here - anything else a plus.

Old timer at 11, but into a Selling Hurdle here should give him a chance. Acts on all ground so the quicker surface here is okay and versatile with the trip too. Sam Twiston-Davies rides for the first time but that's an obvious plus, so even though the first two in the market are respected - Embole and Mizen Master - we head here with an e/w chance.

Has been a frustrating character over the years but certainly has ability. Got tired last time out at Newbury and weakened in the end in a similar Veterans race, but has been dropped 4lbs for that and should be a lot sharper for that too. Will love the better ground here and has run well over the track in the past too. Probably not one to totally trust as often placed more that winning, but is certainly better than last time and with just 10-6 to carry could be very dangerous indeed.

Showed a lot of guts to win at Hereford a few weeks ago and we are only 3lbs higher here, but offsetting much of that with Philip's 7lb claim (we had a 5lb claimer on last time). Trip is fine, while the better ground is okay too, plus she's a proven course winner here at Ludlow. Seems well after that last race and even though this looks a tiny bit more competitive so probably have more on her plate, but being a CD winner and the only recent winner in the field would give her an e/w chance.

Another horse having it's debut for the yard today - came to us from the Christian Williams yard. 13 race maiden over hurdles so another we'll find out more about today, but gets in here with just 10st and a dropping handicap mark in a very average race. Good ground is fine and trying him back up in trip as we feel that will suit and hopefully give us more opportunities. Looks an open race so would have small e/w claims.

A horse that came to us from the Denise Foster yard - not had the horse long so we'll find out more here. Bits and pieces of form over in Ireland but goes without saying hard to assess that over here and yet to win a race. But has only had 8 career runs and looks a fair recruit to the yard. Lorcan is helping by taking off 3lbs too and looking forward to seeing were we are with him. Has also form on good ground in Ireland, so if translating that to over here would have e/w claims.

Went close last time out at Warwick (2nd) and a repeat of that run should see him go well again. Off the same mark helps, but we've Joe Anderson riding this time to claim 7lbs. Trip and slightly better ground are fine, so should have every chance.

Has been poor of late - we weren't happy his wind so we got it checked - but was all actually okay. Has been a lot better at home with a tongue-tie and looked sharper with a visor on too. Sports the headgear here so looking forward to seeing how that helps in an actual race. Not one to totally trust though, but if putting it all together then certainly well-handicapped with only career win coming off a 9lb higher mark.

Pulled up and down the field in latest run, but the heavy ground wasn't to his liking that day. The return to a slightly better surface here today will help and he's down a few pounds too. It doesn't look a great race and I can see him running a much better race here today with an each-way chance.

Still hunting for his first win (22 runs), but we've only had the horse for four of those. Fair run last time after a wind op at Fontwell, just getting a bit tired in the closing stages. The slight drop in trip here will therefore help and is also 3lbs lower. No ground issues and dropping mark should give us a better chance. Bit to prove but hoping he'll run better today and could have a small e/w chance.

Been runner up in the last two runnings of this and this has been the target since last season again. Been hit and miss so far this term, but this has always been the target. Gets in here off a 3lb lower mark than last year, plus with this race now not ridden by the amateur riders we are able to claim a handy 3lbs with Alex Edwards. Several others, that were in the race last year too - like Plan Of Attack (4th), Bob Mahler (3rd), Deise Aba (5th), are of course respected, but we are hopeful the return to Cheltenham will spark him back to life after a nice 3 month break to freshen up for this. Looking forward to another good run and hopefully he can go one place better this year!

Poor runs the last twice - pulling up both times. But he's had a wind op since (which he needed) and we are hopeful that will help. Is back over fences here too and is rated 7lbs lower than when last seen over fences, Course winner and stays this trip well too - probably the sensible thing is to just see how he gets on with this being his first run back from the op, but last chase win came off a mark 4lbs higher than here, so certainly no shock if he ran well based on that. Looks well-in on some of his old form. Place chance. 

Didn't really get on with Catterick last time and the heavy ground, but would have a chance on his form before that when second and third at Sedgefield and Warwick. Better ground here will help too and returning to a track he's run well at recently. Several at the the head of the market have slightly more consistent profiles and the JP McManus horse is respected - but not without a small e/w chance. 

Ran well two runs about at Chepstow and only got as far as the third hurdle last time out at Hereford when falling. Okay after that and gets in here off the same mark. Lorcan also able to claim 3lbs here and the drop back in trip is fine. Soft ground no issue and we feel there will be more to come from him. Hopeful of a good run and shouldn't be far away, with an e/w chance.

Back over hurdles here after not quite taking to fences last time. Is 2lbs lower than last run over hurdles here and Ben is back riding - he won on the horse last November at Uttoxeter. Ground will be fine and has run well at the track before. Can be a bit hit and miss, but doesn't look that good a race so certainly capable on his best form of running well.

We won this race 12 months ago with this horse and loves it here at Warwick - his recent form here reads 2-1-4-1. However, he's not getting any younger at 12 and is also rated 12lbs higher than when winning this last year. Needs to bounce back from a poor run last time, but despite his age is still loving his racing and won here on New Year's Eve well. Up 5lbs for that and up in trip to 3m5f, but we know he stays well and that will be his biggest asset over some of the others. Had a small break to ready for this and seems well at home. Fingers crossed for another big run - each-way.

Is going nicely at home and has done well since having another wind op (third) at the end of last year. First run back since that here but looks a nice race to get going again with her. Also returns on a winning mark, as last success came off a pound higher, plus Ben's 5lb claim a plus too. Also a CD winner that acts well on the ground, so certainly not out of this despite looking the likely outsider of the five runners.

Fair third at Catterick last time out over 2m, but even though didn't stay earlier in his career we feel the step up to 2m4f now will help as stayed on well the last day. Down a few pounds and we've booked Alex Edwards, who can claim 3lbs too. Has a big weight 12st 3lbs, but that's for a reason - we are the clear top-rated in the field. Alex's claims will help with the weight burden and in the ground, but we feel he's got a live chance here and should go well with ground and track fine.

Lovely horse that came to us at the end of last year. Won well on debut for us at Aintree and ran a cracker to be second to the useful Ibleo at Doncaster last time. Trying him back up in trip (2m4f) but has won over this distance in the past and the quicker ground today will certainly be much more to his likely. Decent race, but we feel we've got a fair each-way chance.

Been plenty written about this 11year-old over the years - and for his ability should really have won more than just once over fences (20 runs) and was 8th in the 2019 Grand National. But is often never far away (been 2nd 5 times). Only third run for us and has run two solid races at Sandown and Doncaster. Didn't go to plan last time and plan to ride him closer to the pace. Into another Vets race here, so racing against horses aged 10+. Had a small break after his last run, but does like to run fresh. Down 3lbs more in the ratings and is now on a fair mark (12lbs lower than his National run). Will love the good ground and this 3m2f trip fine, so off this nice mark, certainly not without a chance and deserves to win another race! Probably an each-way play though.

Into a vets chase here for Ozzy and that should give him a decent chance. Now 11, but still showing a good level of form at home and ran well (3rd) when last seen at Uttoxeter back in November. Is a horse that has gone well fresh for much of his career so the 3 month break is fine, as is the trip, ground and track. The in-form Twojayslad to beat and won't be easy with a big weight, but has carried big burdens well in the past. Expected to be thereabouts.

Last seen running in the Grand Sefton over the National Fences at Aintree in Dec 19. Been off the track since and now a 12 year-old that is into a Hunters' Chase. Useful on his day and an easy Hunter Chase winner at Warwick back in 2019 too. Gone well off a break in the past too and seems well at home - ready to run. Can go on any ground too. No spring chicken, but hoping his class will see him run well here, but goes without saying a lot depends how the Nicholls runner - Cat Tiger - runs, who is 5 years our younger and we 13lbs wrong at the weights with. Each-way claims and can hopefully qualify for Aintree with a good run here.

Won here at Leicester two runs ago over hurdles, but the race fell apart a bit. Couldn't add to that at Doncaster last time off a 3lb higher mark and ran too keen that day too. Same rating here as last time, but we are hoping the return to Leicester will help and reverts to fences here. Could sneak into a place, but really the first three in the market, especially the Jonjo runner - Destin D'ajonc, who was a nice winner last time out, might be hard to topple.

Five career runs and seems to be heading the right way after an improved third at Chepstow last time out. Up in trip a bit here will be fine and the ground is okay too. Same mark too, but Ben takes off a handy 5lbs this time so that will be a big help. The Daly horse is probably the one to beat, but we'd certainly have claims too - each-way.

Ran third behind the useful Sky Pirate last time at Warwick so this looks an easier option here down two grades. 3lbs lower too, but in this lower class more racing weight to carry. But certainly looks a winnable race and last two runs - in better races (3rd both times) would give him a big chance. 

Still to win a race from 21 starts, but a couple of fair runs this season and this is only his fourth run for us (was formerly with Noel Meade). We've given the horse a wind op since his last run to help with his breathing and the step up to 2m5f here will help too. 3lbs lower here too so certainly not without a chance, but being first run back from the wind op would like to see how he gets on in a race first.

Fourth last time out at Doncaster - albeit beaten a fair way, but the winner has since won again since so that gives us some encouragement. Is also dropped a few pounds and into an easier grade so this should help. Slightly longer trip to deal with here, but should be fine and is returning to a course he's won at in the past too. Recent winners Eaton Miller and Uisce Ur are feared with the CD winner from the Woollacott yard, but we could be the e/w value in the race.

Pulled up last time at Chepstow in deep ground after running too keen - but won well the time before at Uttoxeter. Is certainly better than that last showing but does need to be more consistent on the track - we'll be dropping him in today to finish. Well at home since, hence why he's running just 2 weeks after that last run and the track here will be more to his liking. Bit to prove after last time, but small e/w chance if running to the level of two runs ago and settling better.

Been running over hurdles of late, but is back over fences here for just the second time. Ran okay on chase debut at Sedgefield a year ago over 2m5f, but we feel the drop back to 2m in the heavy ground will help - especially at this stiff track. We are also 6lbs lower than last run over fences (with the jockey's claim), which helps. The Mullins and Williams runners are probably the likely winners and might just be a few slightly better handicapped in the race than us, but if his jumping holds up could still run well if getting through the ground.

On a bit of a recovery after bring pulled up last time out at Bangor. But trying to get some confidence back here back over hurdles and off an 8lb lower mark than over fences. Also sports the first-time cheekpieces to try and sharpen him up, while the slightly longer trip is fine. Capable off this sort of mark so small e/w chance if coming back to form, but recent runs suggest we'd like to see it on the track again to be more confident.

Delighted with his debut win for the yard at Uttoxeter back in November - up just 5lbs for that and should have more to come as we feel he had a bit more in the locker that day too. Has won on heavy ground in the past too but still needs to cope with it, but that applies to them all! This trip is ideal though and another good run on the cards if getting through the ground.

Has crept up the handicap without winning a bit after two good placed runs. Into a conditional jockeys' race here with the useful Lorcan Williams booked to ride and that should give us an advantage too. Well after a month off and if running to a similar level to his last two runs should not be far away with small place claims. The Donald McCain runner - Donladd - looking the one to beat.

Won last time out at Warwick and that was probably even better too as made several mistakes during that race. Up 6lbs for that so more required here, plus is now 13lbs higher than when running second in this race 12 months ago - last year's winner - Holbacktheriver - runs again today too. Big weight is the negative in the ground, but seems in good form with himself since that last run and certainly can't be ruled out if in the same mood.

Been running fair races recently without troubling the judge over hurdles. Was running on well last time at Warwick (5th of 11) and dropped a few pounds for that helps and first run over fences here - this should be more his game. Should be more to come with just seven runs over hurdles and the switch to chasing and won't mind the ground. Knows his job and looks well at the moment. Open race though, so each-way claims granted a clear round.

Did well at the end of 2019 but as a result shot up the ratings and has struggled a bit since. Is coming back down and is now only a pound higher than last winning mark. Acts well on the soft and stays a bit further than this 3m trip, which will help in the conditions. Paddy Brennan takes over in the saddle, but has won on him in the past too. Open race, each-way chance.

Up 4lbs for his recent win at Leicester so more needed but is well after another small break. Trip and ground hold no issues and should run his race again, but would probably need a career-best off this mark so it remains to be seen if he can find some improvement at the age of 11. The unexposed Sunset West looks the one to beat.

Ran a good race two runs back at Ludlow - when looking set to be in frame (or just out) until getting hampered by a faller. But ran flat last time out at Hereford over a shorter trip, so the return to 3m here is a plus. Down a few more pounds and James Davies takes over in the saddle - knows the horse best. Not the most reliable, but off this mark looking dangerous especially if the first-time cheekpieces help him focus too. Small each-way chance.

Nice little race and one that we feel we've got a leading chance in. A lovely chaser that came to us from the Tom George yard and delighted that he won on debut for us at Aintree back in November. We've taken our time with him since, but is a horse that likes to run fresh, so the 3 month break isn't too much of a worry. Up another 5lbs here looks fair, but is a proven course winner too and the ground will be fine. Probably got Ibleo to beat, but is very well and should run a nice race.

Yet to win from 20 races and not getting any younger at 10 years-old. Down another 3lbs here though and only third run for the yard after coming from the Noel Meade camp in Ireland. Longer trip today should help and well at home, but really just be happy with an improved effort and go from there.

Good winner two runs back at Uttoxeter - albeit in a poor race - but failed to improve for the step up in trip last time at Catterick. Therefore, the drop back in distance will help here. Also sports the first-time cheekpieces here as we think they will help him settle and Millie takes a handy 7lbs off his back. Only 4lbs higher than that last win, so if back to that level - albeit in a slightly higher grade - then could be the e/w value.

Only third run for us after coming over from the Noel Meade yard in Ireland. Needs more confidence and not shown up much so far so we'll need to see more on the track really before passing on anything with more confidence.

Generous Day won this race in 2019, but we are rated 8lbs higher this time so more needed. Another of ours that ran well for much of the way last time at Ludlow (3rd), just getting tired in the final few furlongs. Similar race here so we get in with a lightweight (10-0), which will help in the soft ground. But we are also having to run 3lbs out of the handicap so a bit to find and taking on some improving sorts in the shape of Sky Pirate and Amoola Gold - should run well, but a hot little race so a place might be the best we can hope for.

Only runner in the race for us now with Detached now a NR, but would have a small e/w chance. Took a step forward last time out at Wetherby when 6th of 11 - just getting tired in the closing stages after running well for much of the way. Dropped 4lbs for that helps, so with a bit more improvement can hopefully take a step in the right direction again here.

Pulled up at Chepstow the last day but that came over a trip a bit on the short side and also off a long break. Has improved for that and this step back up to 3m will help. Brian Hughes knows the horse well too - has won on him before - so his booking helps and is also a proven CD winner here so that's one of the reasons for heading to Market Rasen. Only 4lbs higher than last win, so no shock to see him run better than last time here. Place chance.

Made a few mistakes the last day and they took their toll in the end. We've given him a month off since and should be more at home in this slight ease in grade. Down a few pounds from last time too and Lorcan Williams booked to ride so his 3lb claim is an added bonus too. Ground okay too and not with an each-way chance in an open race.

Has run well the last twice - without winning - with her recent third at Ludlow her best form so far. Dropped a pound for that last outing too helps and will be fine on the ground and over this slightly longer trip. A similar run would give her a fair e/w chance.

Often runs well here at Warwick and is also a course winner here. Blew away the cobwebs last time out here and was a bit rusty at some of his fences which cost him really. Stayed on well in the end though and will be a lot better for that run and that also came on ground that was a bit lively for him. Softer conditions here will help and stays further than this trip too. Has a good overall record over fences of hitting the frame and now into these veterans' races should have a better chance racing against horses in and around his age. Each-way claims.

Bounced back to form last time out at Sedgefield with an excellent second and gets in here off the same mark. Similar trip - down a furlong here - while the heavy ground is fine too. If backing up that last win then no reason why he can't run well and should have a decent e/w chance.

Second run for us after coming from the Noel Meade yard in Ireland. Pleasing run on debut for us at Hereford last time when a close fourth. A few sketchy jumps that day but after a time off that was expected. Should be a lot sharper this time and gets in here off the same mark and on this softer ground the drop back in trip will be fine. Several non-runners help our cause, so each-way chance.

Well down the field on first run back at Hereford last month, but that was his first run after a wind operation and also his first for a while. Dropped 4lbs for that and seems to have come out of that race well. The drop back in trip will also help as he seemed to stop quickly last time and clearly didn't see out the trip. Is certainly better than that last showing, so small e/w chance, but really just be happy with a better showing to give us something to build on.

A fair bit to prove at the moment after some poor runs of late - including running no sort of race last time at Ffos Las when pulled up. Up in trip here to see if that helps as we certainly feel he's better than what he's showing. Plus also being 5lbs lower here helps. Like to see more on the track before being more confident though.

Was in the process of running a big race last time at Ludlow when got badly hampered by a faller. Lost all chance after that, but is none the worse for it. Dropped back in trip today but that will be fine in this much heavier ground. We are also putting Millie on today to claim a further 3lbs so with a bit more luck in-running can go well with a fair e/w chance. In-form Sexy Lot is the clear one to beat but is up another 15lbs for her last win so that gives us hope so with little depth to the race and all the focus on if the hot favourite can cope with the rise in the ratings then feel we are a fair e/w alternative.

One of the stable stars but hasn't been firing this season yet - but more of a Spring ground horse. Has had a few excuses though with the trip being on the sharp side last time at Doncaster, but the time before ran flat at Cheltenham so does need to rediscover his form. Down another 2lbs from that last run and has won at the course before. Seems well at home and hoping the return to this venue will spark him back to form on the track but really after the last recent runs it would probably be better to see that on the track first and he's likely to have a break and returning for his preferred time of the year in the Spring.

Bit to prove at the moment after a few poor runs since returning to the track. Dropped another 5lbs is a plus and gets into this better race with a very light racing weight (10-4) so we seeing if the rise in class will actually help re the weight. Ground and track are fine, plus the drop back in trip is okay too as that will help in the softer ground - small place chance but would probably like to see more on the track before being more confident with the horses running a bit in-and-out at the moment. Last year's winner - Caid Du Lin - and the Nicholls horse look the main players.

Nice mare, but debut run here today in a race that is hard to call with so many newcomers and unexposed sorts. Won't disgrace but likely to improve for the experience.

Nice winner at Uttoxeter last time out and despite a 6lb rise in the ratings has come out of that race well. Softer ground is fine but is up almost half a mile in trip here so a bit more needed. We help again though with the jockey being able to claim 7lbs for this amateur riders' race. Should be thereabouts.

A horse many people know well, but only second run for us after coming from the Tom George yard. Did well on first run for us when 4th or 10 at Sandown and dropped another 2lbs from that. Has also improved at home with that outing coming off a 312-day break and is starting to look extremely well-handicapped. Is probably best on slightly better ground though so hoping there isn't too much more rain, but should be fine as it is - if that's the case should go well. Each-way.

Has come on a lot for his return run at Hereford last month. Is down 3lbs for that too and the step back up in trip is a plus. Loves heavy ground too and did well around this time last year so looking forward to a decent run. Probably the Skelton horse to beat but we head here hopeful of a much better run than last time. Each-way.

Took a big step forward last time out at Exeter with a decent third at a big price. Dropped a few pounds for that helps and being that was only his second run back from a break and a wind op will improve for it too. The first three in the betting setting a fair standard at this level, but with some slight improvement and if he gets his jumping together, then would have e/w claims.

A race the Evan Williams and Venetia Williams yards have done well in over the years so their Supreme Escape and Elixir Du Gouet are respected. Our horse did well last season, but probably found the heavy ground too much on his last run at Catterick. Had a nice break since and been working well at home for this. Still 6lbs higher than last win but should have more to come and not without an each-way chance. 

Ran better than result shows last time out - lost all chance late on with some mistakes and then weakened. Slightly shorter trip will help and that run would have taken the freshness away after 6 months off. Softer ground is fine and has had plenty of time to get over that run (2 months), but still think best watched here as still a bit to prove around this sort of handicap mark.

Yet to win from 11 runs but ran better last time out at Huntingdon. Only got tired in the closing stages and despite finishing 8th was only beaten 11 lengths. That was also her first run back from a wind op so can be expected to improve for it and has come out of that race well. This is also her first run over fences and that has always been the plan being a former Pointer. Has schooled well for this too and looking forward to getting her going over fences. Small e/w chance if her jumping holds out but also we'll be delighted with a positive and clear run.

Fair return run at Hereford last month (2nd) and dropped a pound for that helps a bit. Has come out of that race well and has improved for it as well. Stepping up in trip here will be fine as she's won over slightly further in the past. Loves soft/heavy ground too even though the in-form Big Penny looks the one to beat she's up another 5lbs in the ratings from her recent win. Each-way.

Is taking a bit of time to get the hang of things but does have ability. A highly-strung character that shows plenty of attitude. Track and ground are fine though and will be fitter after two recent runs. 9lbs lower when first seen this season and in what looks a poor race then would not be shocked to see him run better here. Each-way.

Was running a fair race on her return at Uttoxeter last time out when falling two out. Would have probably been in the top half that day and she's none the worse for that - just got a bit tired. Slightly shorter trip here will help and her jumping at home has been good since so we feel her confidence hasn't been affected. Races up with the pace and will be fitter this time too. Small e/w chance.

Didn't give his true running last time at Cheltenham and nothing came to light. Turned out again today as seems well at home since and we are trying to get some confidence back into him. Much shorter trip than normal so may just find some younger legs having a bit more pace and doesn't look a bad race. Be delighted with a clear round and so we can build again from there.

Promising return run at Bangor last month - has certainly come on for that run. Dropped a few pounds helps and also eased in grade slightly helps. Trip and ground are fine and has run okay here at the track in the past. We've probably all got the Daly horse to fear but ours should run well and place claims today - anything else a plus.

Won this race 12 months ago and returns off a pound lower mark so must have every chance of going well again. Rather lost his way though after this race last year but has had a wind op during that time and blew away the cobwebs last time at Stratford last month. Conditions are fine - maybe a slightly tougher race than last year with the Nicholls and O'Neill runners, but in good order so each-way chance.

First run for the yard and returning from a break so we'll find out more here. But a former Point and Hunter Chase winner so a horse with potential at this sort of level. Stiff track will suit and the ground is fine, but a bit of a learning curve for us here and we'll find out where we are re his mark so we'd be happy with a solid jumping round and go from there.

Highly-tried last time out at Cheltenham but we are 6lbs better off here with the jockey claim and drop in the ratings. Slightly easier race here and in much better order at home. Track and ground are ideal too so certainly hopeful of a better run today. Still looks a competitive race though so only small e/w chance.

Last seen running third in a Hunters' Chase at Fakenham back in March, but is back into a handicap chase here on what looks a fair mark. Has been quite a hard horse to win - not won for about 3 years I think - with but often never far away in his races - been second 10 times! Ground and track are ideal but probably has it to do being 4lbs higher than last handicap win. Jeremiah McGrath rides.

Loves Cheltenham and has been runner-up now in the last two Kim Muirs at the Festival. Only 3lbs higher than the Kim Muir run back in March this year and blew away the cobwebs at Fakenham last time out at a track that was plenty sharp enough for him and wasn't right after that so final result was better than it looked too. Carried the weight well that day and back at his favoured track must have a leading chance. Alex rides again - been on him the last twice - and having pleased us at home we are looking forward to today. Should go well and feel we've got a solid e/w chance.

Former winning Pointer but is yet to win over hurdles from 7 runs but has shown ability - ran the useful Main Fact to 4 lenghts at Warwick back in January. Ran well for a time on his return run at Uttoxeter last month and has certainly improved for that at home and seems in good form. Dropped 2lbs from that last run and Ben rides this time to claim 7lbs so much better off. Small Each-way chance.

Still finding her feet - this will only be her fifth career run - took a step in the right direction last time with a 6th (of 11) at Exeter too. Dropped 4lbs for that and also has improved for that as it came off a around 9 months off. Easier track today too will help and in what looks an average affair hopeful she can continue to go the right way - each-way chance.

Last run would have brought him on and is 5lbs lower here but more needed on that run so best watched until we see improvement on the track. But is a big chasing type that should do well in the future.

Was disappointing the last day, but should be better for it as it came off a break and a 5lb drop in the ratings will also help. Jeremiah McGrath knows the horse well and rides again - looking for a step forward here and should improve on that last effort. Should have more to offer and small e/w claims but a bit to prove at the moment.

Yet to win from 10 runs but is certainly better than what she's shown - a recent wind op will hopefully help her and she's dropped in grade here too, plus racing off 5lbs lower than last time. Starting to look well handicapped and if the wind op works then would have a chance, but these are a few 'if's that she needs to prove to us on the track.

Did well last season around this time of the year, but his last two runs were well below par - we've given him a long break to get him back and he seems well at home for the time off. Stays further than this 2m5f trip so we'll try and make use of that and the ground is fine. 8lbs higher than last win, but that was an easy 16 length success so certainly still feel he's got something to offer at the mark and still only 7 so should have more improvement to come. Tight little race but being a course winner that will help - but overall expect the horse to just need this and the Lee runner - Town Parks - is the one to beat for me.

A fine horse that came to us earlier this year from the Willie Mullins yard - ran well on debut for us back in March too and has benefited from a wind op over the summer. That last run was even better than it looks on paper as he burst a blood vessel in the race too and was still only beaten just over 5 lengths. Up in trip here as we feel that will help too and even though it's probably wise to taking a watching brief after what happened in his last race, he's doing well at home and should certainly have more to offer. We'll be delighted with a solid run here and the plan is to go chasing soon after this. The Ralph horse - Mick Mona - looks the one to beat for me.

Ran a bit better last time out so that was encouraging and we get in here 6lbs lower too. We also feel the longer trip will be in his favour and has handled softer ground in the past. Still more needed but with the handicapper relenting a bit seems to have a better chance than recent runs - small e/w chance.

A horse that is well-known to many that came to us from the Tom George yard and so is having his first run for us. We had a nice winner for the owners yesterday too so would be great to add to that here. It's no secret that this horse has ability but has been hard to win with over the years - just 1 chase success from 18 runs, but 5 seconds! Has dropped to a fair mark though and should find things easier in this veterans race - running against horses aged 10 or older. Trip is fine and likes the good ground too - first run here at Sandown too so that might help freshen him up and no reason why it won't suit being a sound jumper. Competitive race, but a delight to have in the yard and would have e/w claims here.

Talented horse that came to us from the Tom George yard - having his first run for us. Has done well since joining us and settled in well so looking forward to getting going with him. Has run well off a break in the past too and this looks a good race with a nice prize to go for. If getting into a nice jumping rhythm we'd like to think he'll be in the mix.

Last seen winning here back in March and has had a new surge of life at his older age - is now 11. Has done well over the summer and we know he likes it here at Warwick, so we've had this race in mind for a while. Stays further too so that will help and will be fine on the ground. Up 8lbs from that last win, but still well-handicapped on older form, but that was of course with younger legs. Very consistent profile though and fit and well - might just improve for the run but still looking forward to a solid return.

Has ability but is returning from a long time off. Should run well and returns on what looks a fair mark, but likely to improve for this run - one to watch with a run of two under it's belt.

Former flat winner but yet to get off the mark over the sticks. Only second run back from a break and also a wind op so is still finding his feet a bit this season, but is 6lbs lower than last time and the better ground will suit more today. Really though just be happy with an improved run and build from there.

Did well last season - winning twice - but was last seen falling at Sedgefield so needs to bounce back from that. First run since today and looking forward to another nice season, but over this 2m trip and here at Hereford it might just be sharp enough so really just be delighted with a clear round.

Struggled a bit since winning easily back in July after getting hiked-up the handicap. But is down a few more pounds here (3lbs) so that helps and Ben rides again so can claim 7lbs. Trip and ground are okay so would have an e/w chance.

Working well and a nice recruit from the yard from the Noel Meade yard in Ireland, but we fell best-watched on first run for us as also returning from a 279-day break - we'll learn more here and the horse will also improve for the outing.

Nice mare that is a competitive little racer and is looking well at home since coming to us from the Noel Meade yard in Ireland. But not seen a track since January so expected to just need this and best-watched until she gets a few runs under her belt to blow away the cobwebs. 

Lost his way since winning well at Kempton last November - but has had a wind op since and hopeful that will help. Back 4lbs lower too since last run and is now only 2lbs higher than last win so can't totally rule out and has run well fresh in the past. Small e/w chance, but will, of course, improve for this too.

Returning from a break - last seen in March. On a winning mark and gone well fresh in the past. Trip and ground are fine and we feel we can ignore that last run as didn't seem to be putting it in - is better than that! In good order at home and regular pilot James Davies rides. Each-way. 

Down the field on his return over hurdles a few weeks ago at Stratford. That was his second run back after a wind op - we are dropped 5lbs from his last run as over fences for the first time, but with his lack of experience over the bigger obstacles at this stage isn't really a betting option. Just be happy with a solid run and build from there, but chasing was always the plan.

Last seen running well at Ludlow back in February but has been put away since then - that was also her first back from a wind op so that was encouraging too. Has been doing plenty of work at home but looks a competitive race and we wouldn't say she's well-handicapped here. Hoping for a nice run back with a mares' only race in mind for her next month! Ben rides and helps by taking 3lb off.

Raced a bit free and used up too much to have any chance last time out. We gave him a wind op straight after that race so we are hopeful that will help, but goes without saying with this being his first run since it's a bit of a fact-finding mission. But, aside from that, has certainly improved for that last run and with only 5 career runs should have more to come today.

Yet to win a race when trained in in Ireland by Noel Meade, but has bits and pieces of form. We'll learn more about his mark here today and also more about the horse, but has settled in well and nice to get going with him. First run back since Jan 20.

Point winner a few years ago but hasn't fulfilled promise yet under rules. In her defence has been running in much better races than this so this drop in grade will certainly help, while she returns 6lbs lower in the ratings too. Might just need this though to blow away the cobwebs, but we certainly feel she's better than what she's shown to date and place claims today.

Stable favourite that gets his new season going here. Last seen running another cracker at the Chelteham Festival when second in the Kim Muir so a second time. Has a lot of weight in this lesser race so that makes life hard, but Alex's 3lb claim will help. This looks a good place to start him off though, but we'll have to see how he gets on at this tigher track. He's well at home and nice to get going with him - He'll will be campaigned in a similar way to past seasons, with hopefully Cheltenham on the cards next year.

Another in the race for us that is returning from a lay-off. Not too badly-treated on older form and lightly-raced so will have more to come, but should be better for blowing away the cobwebs.

Has had a wind operation since his last run so we are hoping he can kick on now - is also into a handicap for the first time so that will help. Returns from around 10 months off though so expected to improve for this but should start to be a lot more competitive now having a mark.

Competitive race for the grade. Mrsgrey ran below-par last time out at Hexham but that came off a break and she needed it - and is better than that! Will be a lot better for that run too and we also feel the first-time tongue-tie here will help. Also feel that running in her in this better race will help as she'll have a lot less weight to carry - a stone less than last time. Has ability, but we need to see more on the track really before advising more, while a case can be made for at least half the 18 runners!

Didn't really take to fences the last day so is back over hurdles here. Running off a 3lb lower mark here over the smaller obstacles on what is also his handicap debut over hurdles. Also back in trip will help. First run back from around 7 months off so expected to improve for this no matter what, but will be fine on the ground.

Won well three runs back at Market Rasen but has had a few excuses the last twice. Wasn't at home at the Cartmel track and was tried in a better race last time at Southwell. Into the same grade that he won in July here (that will help), but maybe a bit to prove still off this mark as is 9lbs higher than that last win. Trip and ground are fine and been freshened up with a small break as he does seem to run better off a lay-off. Hopefully that will help. Hopeful of better, but might have it to do off this mark.

Not great shakes from three runs to date, but still on a learning curve and first run here in a handicap will help. We'll know more where we are regarding her mark but this is a bad race and has been working nicely at home - you'd like to think in a contest like this and off this mark she can get involved. Each-way.

Nothing much to shout about so far from this horse, but only had three career runs and is also into a handicap for the first time here today and that will help. Ground will be fine too and Lorcan helps by taking off 3lbs as well. The top two in the market are the obvious dangers, but hoping to see much better runs from this 5 year-old now and not without each-way claims here.

Very much best-watched today. Only second career run and not been out since Oct 18 after having some setbacks. Will be happy with a clear round and build from there.

Last seen winning well at Fakenham back in March - had the summer off and seems well for the break. That was his first career win from 19 runs. Acts well on good ground but we are 5lbs higher here and that last win we were able to claim 10lbs from the jockey. Therefore, more needed and expected to be sharper for the run, but on a plus the ground will be to his liking.

Another of ours that is returning from a break. Fair performer on the flat when with Andrew Balding and after three runs over hurdles is into a handicap for the first time and that will help. Also first run back after a wind operation so hoping the horse can kick on now. Goes without saying will improve for this but the better ground will suit and would have small place claims.

Lightly-raced 7 year-old that should certainly have more to offer. Dropped in grade here today will help and seems well after around 9 months off. The tongue-tie is on today too and should be more at home on the better ground. Kabrit and Cremant look the ones to beat but we head here with an e/w chance.

Last seen unseating at Huntingdon back in March, but was beaten at the time. We've given her plenty of time off to get over that race and been well-schoolled since. Does look a race that revolves around the Nicky Richards horse (Millie Of Mayo) though so we might all be playing for places. On a plus, we are 5lbs lower than last time and will be better suited by the better ground today. Small place claims.

Looks to rest between the first four in the market - our runner ran a respectable race (3rd) at Stratford last time out - albeit beaten 33 lengths. Another step forward here will be a bonus but is really best-watched and will be better once into handicaps (one to note then), with the Kim, Nigel, Alan and Alex's horses to one that are sure to fight this one out.

Nice winner at Market Rasen at the end of July but shot up 7lbs in the handicap as a result and is now 19lbs higher than when winning at Catterick three runs back. Found the Cartmel track a bit on the tight side last time but still ran on well to take a distance third. Up another 3lbs here so now 10lbs higher than last win and into a better race. On a plus, is well after a small break and the horse is well so could run well (place), but more needed off this mark and in this higher grade so probably hard to see us winning.

Going to be hard for any of us to beat the in-form O'Brien runner - Courtandbould - who heads here on a three-timer. Our fella was 95 lengths behind that horse last time too at Stratford so we've a lot to make up! Will, however, be better for that last run after a long break, so hoping to get a bit closer, but will be better once handicapped.

Talkingpicturestv - We’re taking a long trip up to Cartmel to hopefully make it 3 wins on the bounce under Mille Wonnacott. She’s in good order, eating well and 4lb in with her penalty, ground is fine so hopefully with a clear round she'll complete the hat-trick.

Outisaid - A pointer to pointer who's having his first run under rules and having yet to complete in points so a big unknown. He is working nicely but today will all be a fact finding mission and clear round most important so best watched!

Up 9lbs for her easy win at Catterick back in February. Had a break since but is a horse that goes well fresh and acts on all ground so if any more rain comes that's fine. Millie rides again (rode last time) and is able to claim 7lbs so that helps. A few others with similar chances but we head here with a reasonable each-way shout.

The longer trip and the softer ground should help today. Has come on for his last run at Warwick as that came off a few months off and dropped 2lbs as well. Lightly-raced still so will have more to come and hopeful of a step in the right direction today, with the Skelton and Lee runners looking the main threats.

Former Willie Mullins runner that is making his debut for us. Yet to win a race, but has only had four career runs so should have more to offer. Has shown bits and pieces of form but we'll learn a lot from today. Ground will be fine and we are hoping the drop back to 2m (shortest trip he's tried) will suit. Looks between us Imperial Icon and Loughan, but should go well in a race that doesn't seem to have much strength or depth to it.

In good order at home - ground too soft last time out so had excuses so the drying conditions here a bonus as long as the rain stays away. CD winner at the track too so we know he likes it here and we feel he's still on a competitive mark. Each-way claims at a nice price. 1 1/2 stars.

Tommy should have every chance, but it's no penalty-kick! Has returned this season off a big break to run two cracking races at Cheltenham and Wetherby. Into a Hunters' Chase here so a lot easier than recent Class 3 company, while the step up to 3m around this tighter track will be fine. Should go well and we expect nice run but no foregone conclusion.

Solid third at Sedgefield last time out - but we are down a pound for that and also have Nathan Brennan on today that can claim 10lbs so a lot better off as looked high enough in the weights. Up in trip we expect to help too as stayed on well over 2m1f last time out and has run well over this sort of trip in the past. Each-way chance.

Was runner-up in this race 12 months ago and this has been the target again all season. We actually get in here off a pound lower rating than last year and we've been pleased with his preparation for this. In great order at home, while the ground will be okay too. Last year's jockey Alex Edwards got the call to ride again so all looks in place for another cracking run - hopefully he can go one place better this time! Each-way.

Doesn't look the best of races despite being upped in grade here. We are also racing against her own sex here so that will help and dropped a few pounds from last time too. Track will suit and experienced 7lb conditional so that helps. Each-way

Another of ours with a fair chance today. Ran a good second to a fair sort - Main Fact - two runs back here and only 2lbs higher. A repeat of that run would see us go well here. Another of ours that looks to have fair place claims.

Been running well of late - four top-three finishes in recent runs. Stays well so hopeful this step up to 3m5 will suit. Also acts well in the ground. Very open race with many chances but the horse is well so we head here hopeful of a nice run. Each-way claims.

Been running okay of late without setting the world alight. Dropped another 3lbs for his latest run at Ludlow but we are the only proven course and distance winner in the race after landing this actual race in last year - we are only 3lbs higher. Each-way chance.

Big fine horse - was only 15 lengths off a useful sort in Bullionaire at Uttoxeter back in Decemeber. Making chase debut here and also handicap debut - to us the mark looks a bit harsh so not really a betting race - unless the race falls apart. We'd just be delighted with a solid run and build form there. The Skelton and Williams horses look the ones to fight this out.

Good horse back in the day in Ireland when with Mullins and Elliott at various stages. A horse that's had his issues since though - just four runs since April 18. Returned at the end of January at Chepstow but way down the field that day. 4lbs lower and longer trip will suit and won't mind the ground. We've managed to book Dickie Johnson too, so that will be an obvious help. The Gordon runner - Pres - looks the likely winner, but we'd be delighted with a step forward here and feel we've got an e/w chance.

Great winner last time out at Wincanton and has come out of that race very well. Carries a 7lb penalty for that success but we feel there is still more to come from him now he's got that first win under his belt. Slight drop back in trip is fine and will love the soft ground. Anther bold bid on the cards, with the Tizzard horse looking the danger.

Consistent sort that is a past CD winner here. Won well after getting going late on to get up on the line at Chepstow so the return to a longer trip is fine. Up 4lbs for that but top claimer is taking off 10lbs as he's got a lot of weight. Jockey has also won on him in the past and the horse has been freshened up with a few months off. Think he's got a great chance in a race we also won last year with Hard To Forget.

Is in good order after unseating last time out at Plumpton - but won well the two times before that. Had time to get over that (2 months) and returns to a track he's won at in the past. Conditions look ideal and we feel he's a progressive sort that will have more to come. Feel we've got a live chance here today.

Unseated James early on last time out at Huntingdon - is none-the-worse for that, but has had a month off in the meantime. Run prior to that unseat was encouraging (3rd) and we are 2lbs lower here. Has an very low weight in this higher grade and that will help in the ground. Not without place claims with a bit more luck today.

Ask Paddy, who has won it's last three will be an obvious danger, but hopefully with that horse going up another 8lbs it's winning run might come to an end! We come here with a chance though after winning two runs back at Sedgefield and then not disgracing off 8lbs higher last time (3rd) at Donny on ground that wouldn't have suited the horse as well. Brian Hughes helps in the saddle and has ridden the horse in the last three times, so is starting to get to know him well. Softer ground than last time will be a plus and seems well after a small month break. Feel we've got a solid e/w chance.

Never went a yard the last day at Uttoxeter - ran flat, which was frustrating as he ran really well the time before (2nd). Nothing came to light so if that effort can be forgiven then an each-way chance in what doesn't look the best of races. Handles the ground and the trip is fine - has also been freshened up with a few months off and seems well for it. Lady Amateur riders' race but we've got a decent pilot on in Millie Wonnacott, who has already had 50 rides (8 wins) and claims a handy 5lbs too. Each-way chance.

Won well two runs back at Uttoxeter but failed to follow-up when pulled-up last time at Haydock - both over hurdles. On a plus, has dropped another 5lbs in the ratings now back over fences and starting to look well-handicapped. Trip and ground will be fine and seems after a small break. Still a bit to prove over fences though (0-from-6) so just be delighted with a run similar to that of two starts ago. Small e/w chance if his jumping holds out. 1 1/2 stars.

Fourth last time out - but only beaten 1 1/2 lengths. 2lb rise in the ranks here but we feel a repeat of that last run should see him go well. Is, however, yet to win a race under rules (17 runs) so that tells a story, but has gone close many times and deserves to get a win soon. Has also won a Point on heavy ground. Each-way.

Happy with his run last time out at Warwick. Has come out of that race well and improved for it after a few months out. Up just 2lbs here but after getting a bit outpaced last time we feel the step up from 2m to 2m5f here will benefit him, being a winning Pointer over 3m in the past too. The two recent winners in the field to beat, but with little depth to the race we could be the value. Jeremiah McGrath rides.

Pulled up last time but the heavy ground took it's toll of a lot of the runners that day at Chepstow. Only a pound lower here and just the one career win from 20 starts and that came off a 6lb lower rating so a bit to prove. Really just be happy with an improved run and build from there.

4-time hurdles winner but after a good time of it at the end of 2018 and early 2019 lost his way. Has had two wind ops since and the most recent coming last month. Returns on lat winning mark and we are also putting up Nathan Brennan, who claims 10lbs. We are also hoping the return to Ludlow will help as a past CD winner and will be fine in the softer ground. Small e/w chance off this mark, but with recent issues will be delighted with an improved run and build form there.

Nice prize on offer so worth a crack - especially as he seems to save his best for Warwick! Is 2-from-2 at the track and delighted us this season with a top win at Kempton in November. Is 8lbs higher than that win and needs to bounce back from a poor run at Cheltenham last time, but this venue seems to bring out the best in him. Well at home after a small break too so looking forward to a nice run. Each-way claims.

Should have a leading chance in a race that might be well-supported but seems to lack quality. Delighted with his second at Uttoxeter last time out and despite being up 5lbs for that we feel a repeat of that run would see him go close. Trip and ground are perfect.

Second run back after a wind operation so we expect a lot better than last time. But that run came over a trip plenty on the sharp side for him and just found things happening a bit too quick which led to sloppy jumping. Back up in trip here to 3m will suit and we are back to the mark that saw him run a close second in the Kim Muir at the Festival last season. Ground is fine too, so over this longer trip we should hopefully see an improved performance. Each-way.

Former winning pointer but has not fired so far over hurdles, but into a handicap for the first time should see her much more competitive here. Longer trip will suit too and ground will he fine. Also running against her own sex will help. Open race and we'll know more about her mark after today, but certainly hopeful of a much improved showing. Each-way.

We've freshened her up with a few months off after some very average runs at the end of last season. On a plus, her mark is dropping and is another 5lbs lower than last time - seems well in herself but we need to see it on the track again so just be happy with an improved run and go from there.

Western Climate : Consistent sort - has finished in the top three in 5 of his 10 chase starts. Eased in grade from last time helps and acts well in this sort of ground. Very well-handicapped on old form but not getting any younger at 11. Seems well though and would have place claims today.

Returned with a solid fourth at Warwick last time out - off a small break. Happy with that run and dropped a pound here helps. Has come on for that too and showed he can stay that sort of trip (3m2f). Is back down to 2m3f here but a versatile sort regarding the trip and the heavy ground will bring his stamina into play anyway. Very open race but if we can keep tabs during the first half of the race his stamina should be a big help coming home. Each-way.

Nice horse but has had his issues in recent years - owners have been very patient and returns from another long time off the track here. Seems well at home and won't mind the ground - has won on heavy in the past. But goes without saying we are delighted to get going again with him and a clear and solid run will be a nice result to build on.

Tried up in trip last time and despite finishing a distant fourth stayed on well in the heavy ground. Not as heavy this time will help her and a pound lower. Probably needs another step forward here but seems well at home and certainly not badly treated on old form. Open affair but if building on that last outing over this sort of trip then place chance.

Delighted with his win at Sedgefield last month - we've taken our time with him since and is up another 8lbs here so more need in this harder race too. But going the right way and Brian Hughes riding again (was on last time) is a big help. Conditions are fine and feel we've got another decent chance if finding a bit of improvement.

Back from around 3 months off but has gone well fresh in the past. We get in here 2lbs lower than last time and the light weight (10-7) will help in the ground. Could really do with the ground drying up a bit though as better form on a sounder surface, but well at home and in what looks a very open affair could nick a place. 1 1/2 stars.

Ran well on return run at Stratford (3rd), but failed to build on that in the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle last time. Has had a wind op since and back in grade will help a lot. Seems well for the op but always nice to get a race under their belts to see for sure. Trip a bit on the short side but the ground will bring his stamina into play and if repeating his return run this term should have every chance.

Not fired so far but into a handicap for the first time here and that will help. We feel we get in on a fair mark, but will know more about that after this and the drop back in trip will be fine in this ground. Probably the Pipe horse - Main Fact - to beat for us all, but feel a better run is on the cards here today with a small e/w chance 1 1/2 stars.

Continues to drop down the ratings after some average runs of late - 8lbs lower than last time when running over fences. Back over hurdles here to mix it up and try and get some confidence back into him. Bit to prove at the moment so really just be happy with an improved run but dropping mark is starting to make him look dangerous. 1 1/2 stars.

We were delighted with his win at Uttoxeter last time out - probably won a bit too easily in the end so has been hiked up 10lbs as a result. But still fairly well-treated on past form and will love the heavy/soft ground. Is proven over the trip too and seems well after a month out. Up in class too, but looks a very open race but we head here with a decent each-way chance.

Not set the world alight but only had two career runs. Third run here today so will get a handicap mark after this and will be seen to be more competitive then.

Skippy, as he's known at home! Former fair flat performer for Aidan O'Brien. Not a bad debut run for the yard last time out at Warwick - finished sixth of 15. Ran well for much of the race that day and only faded in the closing stages - so with that run under his belt and on this better ground then feel we can take another step forward here with the better ground in our favour. Should not be far away.

Didn't really see out the 3m last time at Donny so the drop back in trip - especially on this heavy ground will help. Won at Sedgefield the time before and only a pound higher here. Acts well on soft ground so hopeful the heavy conditions will be fine and stays further than this 2m trip. Seems well after a break and having won 4 of her 11 runs over hurdles then knows how to get her head in front. Looks a tight little race though with all 7 having a chance so based on that each-way claims.

Could not have been more pleased with his last two wins - the last coming here at Plumpton over 3m1f. We are up another 3f or so here but he did it well (16l) last time to suggest this extra yardage is within range. 8lbs higher though and up in grade here in a much more competitive race so won't be easy - but we do have 8lbs less in actual weight in this better race - that will, of course, help. We think he's still improving too so overall looking forward to seeing how he gets on in this better race and over this longer trip. Should go well. 2 1/2 stars

Took a big step forward last time out at Fontwell with a close-up fourth. We get in here off just a pound higher and has come out of that race well too. Soft ground is no problem and this trip is perfect. Has also tasted the Wincanton track when with the Philip Hobbs yard so that helps so we feel there should be more to come from him so in an open-looking race feel we've got a nice e/w chance.

This will only be her third run for the yard - took a big step forward last time after running second at Chepstow in a similar race. Off the same mark here and up significantly in trip here to 3m1 1/2f - ran over 2m3f last time. But we think the extra yardage is what she wants as stayed on well the last day and loves the soft ground. We'll find out more today re the trip, but if she stays then feel we've got a nice e/w chance and will open up a lot more races for her too.

Often runs well here at Exeter - two runs and has been third and first, including winning this race in 2018. Didn't run too badly last time at Warwick either but in this better race we get in with a much lighter weight - 10lbs less than last time. Yes, not getting any younger at 11 but we are rated 15lbs lower than when winning this a few years back so based on that must have a fair e/w chance.

Ran okay on return run last month at Warwick over a trip that was probably on the sharp side - that certainly blew a few cobwebs away. Back up in trip here will suit - has run well over 3m before to suggest this 3m2f trip is worth a crack. We are also a course winner here and acts on soft ground. Looks an open race, but the horse is well and we feel we've as good an e/w chance as the other princibles in the race.

Point-to-Point winner that ran with credit on rules debut over hurdles at Hereford a few weeks ago. We think the drop back to 2m here will help as he got a bit tired the last day and also didn't seemt to stay. Won't mind the softer ground too, but still feel we've got a bit more improvement to go in terms of winning. 1 1/2 stars.

Top winner last time out at Market Rasen - won with a fair bit in-hand. Nathan rode that day and continues in the saddle and his 10lb claim is a help. We have been raised 11lbs for that win though so more on his plate this time, but a horse we like and certainly feel he's going the right way and has more to offer. Should go well.

Looks a race that lacks depth - seems to be between 3 or 4, of which we are one. Took a big step forward last time at Uttoxeter (2nd) on heavy ground so we know conditions will suit. Had a few weeks to get over that run and with the expected improvement then feel we've got every chance of being in the money again here.

Only had 3 runs under rules so will have more to come. Not shown much so far but will certainly be more at home in this handicap company now - and could be on a workable mark. Trip is fine and we'll learn more about his rating here but certainly capable of better if the ground remains decent. Each-way chance.

Ozzy Thomas - Returned to the track last month with a cracking second at Cheltenham. That run was made even better as it came off 445 day break after having a few setbacks. Handicapper has had say as up 5lbs for that but Nathan remains in the saddle to claim 10lbs so that helps again and we feel he's come on for that last run too. Conditions are fine so another solid run on the cards. Decent claims of being thereabouts, but would just find it hard to see him winning off this mark.

On a bit of a recovery mission after refusing and unseating in his last two starts. Is certainly capable of better that what we've seen this term but need to see that return to form on the track really before being more confident - plus against some in-form rivals.

Didn't jump too well last time at Chepstow and was pulled up in the end - we feel something was troubling her. We've given her plenty of time to get over that and James is back in the saddle here. Run before at Warwick, when second to a fair sort, would give her a much better chance and we feel the slightly longer trip here will help. Is also a course winner here over hurdles so hoping the return to this track will help. Cloudy Glen sets the standard but if putting that last run behind her then not without a chance - looks an e/w price.

Dr Des - Just the four runners now and we might all be playing for places with the in-form Fergal O'Brien horse looking the one to beat. Des also needs to bounce back from a few average runs this season but they did come in much better races than this so the ease in grade will help. 4lbs lower too and the heavy ground is fine - will love that. I guess it's just a case of who can carry the weight through these conditions the best. Be delighted with an improved run. 1 1/2 stars.

Been knocking on the door with three seconds of late - we get in here off the same mark as last time but jockey Nathan Brennan can claim 3lbs this time. Handles the heavy ground well and this trip is fine. No reason why she can't be in the mix again and hopefully can get her head in front.

More needed on what we've seen from opening two runs - will be better once handicapped.

Second runner in the race for us - well down the field on debut here last time and another work in progress sort.

Took a tumble last time out when looking held at the time. Is okay after that but we've given him plenty of time (1 1/2 months). That was only second run back after a wind op too and we are thinking that in this heavy ground the drop back in trip (2m) will be fine. Looks a very open race, with most of the field looking to have something to prove - so no forlorn e/w hope.

Might be playing for 2nd of 3rd here with the Skelton and Henderson horses the ones that set the standard. Our runner is a nice sort though and a former winning Pointer that will have a future. Fit and well at home and won't mind conditions. Not without an each-way chance and can pick up any pieces if the main two falter.

The horses seem to be running well at the moment and so hopeful of a lot better today from Mrsgrey. She's dropped 3lbs and also in grade so will find this a lot easier than recent races. Slight drop in trip will also suit and okay on the ground, but chance would increase if it dries out a tad. Better expected and looks to have a nice Each-way chance.

Hard To Forget - Cracking effort last time out to win by 7 lengths at Hereford. Raised 9lbs for that so will need to improve again but has come out of that race well and we feel there will be more to come with only 8 career runs. Needs a bit of cut - won on soft last time, so the heavy ground is expected to also suit. Looking forward to a solid run.

Only 7 runners so not the best betting race with just 2 places up for grabs. However, we expect Hijran to run well and has come on for her last run. That came in a much better race than this with the likes of Lady Buttons in the contest. We are only 2lbs higher than last win but having Nathan riding to claim 10lbs is a big plus. The two recent winners in the race look the obvious threats but we could be the e/w value in the race.

Cracking win last time out at Kempton - up 8lbs for that and into a hot race so more needed. But did it well that day and has now won 3 of his 6 runs over fences so we feel there is more to come. First run at the track but should suit, while trip and ground are perfect. If staying out of trouble - Would not be shocked if he ran well at a nice price with just 10-5 to carry.

Very happy with her win last time at Sedgefield - only 2lbs higher here and we've given her a month to recover. Worth pointing out we did have a 10lb claiming jockey on last time, but James knows the horse very well and won on him three times before. Also a good winning record (4-from-10) and the horses overall seem to be running well. A race with just 7 runners, but a lot of chances, but couldn't be happier with ours and looking forward to a decent run.

10 year-old now but still showing up well and enjoying his racing. Didn't have the best of times last season when with Tom Weston but has slipped to a nice mark. Was running well when he fell on his return run at Stratford in Oct, but showed no ill effects of that with a solid third at Exeter last time out. 2lbs higer here, but still very well-handicapped off 110, with his last win coming off 125 (Jan 18). Should be involved.

Seceond runner in the race for us and looks our better chance. Fair flat performer for Aidan O'Brien - winning 1 of his 6 starts on the level. Looks a nice recruit to the yard and over hurdles so delighted to get going with him. Has schooled well and won't mind the soft ground. The Henderson runner looks the one to beat, but we head here hopeful of a nice introduction.

Nice sort, but a work in progress horse - down the field on debut at Cheltenham but that was in a hot race. Will find this easier but will gain more experience here.

Had some fair form when with the Philip Hobbs yard so we feel he's better than what he's shown for us so far from two runs. 4lbs lower than last time - but still more needed on that evidence. On a plus, we are dropped in grade here so that will help, but just be delighted with a step in the right direction. Small e/w chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Durouyn - Winning pointer but only average form in novice hurdles to date - third run here so will get a handicap mark after this and be a lot more competitive as a result.

Sastruga - Only fair form for far from his three runs over hurdles but into a handicap here for the first time will certainly see him more competitive. Trip, ground and track will all be fine too and looking forward to a more competitive run here. Small each-way chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Ran well here last time out (2nd) but is over the National fences here for the first time and we think he'll love them. Slight drop in trip is fine as stays further than this and that will help in conditions. This has been the plan for a while and looking forward to seeing how he gets on but the horse is very well and can go well. Each-way

A nice promising mare but this looks a big ask. Conditions will be okay though and will be nice to give her the experience of a bigger day and track, which will help in the future.

Agamemmon - Second last time here was a decent run and has come out of that well. Similar conditions and the same mark look to give us another big chance and with that course experience under his belt that will help. The horses are also in great form so looking forward to a big run with Brian Hughes riding again (rode last time).

Little Rory Mac - Hoping to have a nice chance here with Nathan's 10lb claim a big help. Doesn't look a great race and the softer ground this time will suit. Only third run back from a break too so coming to hand and should have more to offer.

Delighted with his return run last time out at Stratford over a trip on the sharp side and also carrying 12-1. Has come out of that contest really well and in great order - this has been the plan and his big target and so with the track and ground ideal we couldn't be happier with him. Feel we've got a big chance and the horses are running well too.

Very open race with many chances. Des has returned with two solid runs at Stratford and Chepstow - but fitter for those efforts. Dropped 3lbs helps and in this better race we've amuch lighter weight to carry - that will help. Trip and ground are fine too so with the horses running well not without an each-way squeak, but - as I say - very open race. 1 1/2 stars.

Talkingpicturestv - Great run the last day when second at Plumpton in heavy ground. Therefore, conditions here are fine and only a pound higher. 10-7 to carry will also help in the ground and Lee Edwards remains in the saddle. Has 3-4 weeks to get over that last run and seems well, so if running to that same level would have every chance again here with the horses also running well overall.

Hard To Forget - Has a bit to prove at the moment as got hammered a bit by the handicapper last season for winning a poor race. Still 6lbs higher for that, but the ground and trip are ideal. Looks another bad race so that helps and based on that could, therefore, run into a place.

Hot looking race with the top three in the betting looking likely to fight this one out. Our horse is a nice sort though that will do well in time - we like him a lot and think he could be a proper horse. Last seen running second in a Point in Ireland on soft ground so won't mind conditions. Be delighted with a solid run to build on in what looks a warm affair. 1 1/2 stars.

A nice mare that had some good form a few years ago - lost her way a bit since and had a few issues but has returned this season. Nice to get going with her again, but not shown much so far but as a result is starting to look well-handicapped. On a plus, we are dropped 5lbs from that last run and the return to 2m will suit. Overall something to prove, but seems well and if handling the ground an each-way chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Winning pointer but well down the field last time out at Warwick - but on the whole shaped okay that day for much of the way. More needed on that and will be better once getting a handicap mark with the Skelton hot favourite looking hard to beat for us all. So best-watched here today.

Generous Day - Blew away the cobwebs over hurdles last time out at Chepstow in a better grade of race than this too and has come on for that outing. Back over fences here - only sixth run over the bigger obstacles (2 wins) so we feel there is more to come. Track and ground are ideal. Hot race with the Tom George runner looking to set the standard, but if he can improve on that last run then feel we've got a live e/w chance at a nice price.

Going the right way and one of the more experienced in the field and a former winning Pointer. Actually ran well for a 100/1 shot last time (5th of 14) as didn't get the best of runs either and was only beaten 23 lengths. Has come on for that effort so another step forward here on the card - top 3 or 4 in the market look fair sorts so might have to settle for a top half finish, but if handling the ground then not without a small chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Nice horse but still lightly-raced and might just need a few more races to get the hang of things. Will still go well though, without troubling the principles - with Perfect Predator the clear one that sets the standard.

Waiheke - Nice mare that we got from the Philip Hobbs yard - only second run for us and will be better for that last effort at Hereford. 2lbs lower for that and has improved for it. Only career win came on soft ground so today's conditions will suit better as well - step up in trip a big plus. Looking forward to a much-improved run and feel we've got a solid each-way chance. 

Tough ask to topple the top two in the market. Our runner has shown up okay in his two races this season without setting the world alight. Will certainly benefit from being handicapped and will be much more competitive then, but would also not be shocked to see the horse run into a place - if one of the main 3 have an off-day - as seems to have improved at home.

Superb chase debut run at Worcester last time out (2nd) - that came in a Novice Chase but into a handicap here. Won't be easy with 12-4 to carry but we come here as a course winner over hurdles and won't mind the softer ground either. We are helping with his weight though as Nathan Brennan takes off a handy 10lbs for this Conditional jockeys' race - the horse is very well though and hoping that can be the difference. Live chance.

Lovely horse and a former winning Pointer and did well in his only NH Flat race back in July (2nd). Returned over hurdles earlier this month at Wetherby (5th of 12) - beaten a fair way that day but was in touch for much of the race and that was also a better contest. Should find this easier and will be more to come with just 2 runs under rules. Still needs the penny to drop though but when it does could be smart. The more experienced Emmas Joy looks the one to beat though.

Nice to get Ozzy back on the track after 455 days off and a lot of setbacks. Well at home and gone okay fresh in the past but goes without saying after 1 1/2 years off will improve for this. Nathan helps with his 10lb claim though and won't mind the soft ground. Tough race though, so just be delighted with a solid return run after such a time off and build from there.

First run over hurdles here and in at the deep end in a tough juvenile hurdle. Does have some flat experience though so that will help, but one for the future really, especially in a race of this nature.

More needed based on last run, when well beaten here last month. Has, however, certainly come on for that run and the ease in grade here will help her. Also was a bit on her toes last time out before the race so the signs weren't good anyway. Will need to cut all that out but we are putting it down to returning from a break and being a bit buzzy. But in good order at home so if handling the ground not without an e/w chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Western Climate - Has schooled well at home since coming to us - this is only his second run for the yard. Fell last time out when running okay on his return at Stratford but is none the worse for that and confidence seems fine too. The slightly longer trip should suit him better today with this being a bigger test of stamina. CD winner here to helps, so feel he's got an each-way chance in an open affair.

Looks our better chance on the day - Has improved for his return run at Stratford last month (6th of 11). Pulled a bit that day so the drop back in trip should help as hoping they will go a bit quicker here. 4lbs lower helps and be fine on the ground. Also putting the hood on for the first time today to help as hung a bit last time too. Needs to iron out a few issues (settling and hanging) on the track, but will more to come with just 3 career runs. Small e/w claims.

Nice well-bred filly, but debut run today so expected to be taught a lot in the race. Nice low weight helps too, but just looking for a nice introduction really.

In great order - meets a couple of these wrong at the weights, but not really ready for a rough handicap yet. A bit more experience all the same here and I think he's very talented and would be no surprise to still see him run a big race.

Very competitive race for the grade. Did well at the end of last season - winning once and placed third last time out. Returns on a pound higher but that only career win did come here at Warwick so that's a plus. Might just need this to blow away the cobwebs after 7 1/2 months off, but will handle the soft ground and has certainly improved over the summer. Should be more to come as only 5 year-old, but trip might be on the sharp side today too and likley to benefit from this first run back.

Second runner for us in the field and looks our slightly better chance. Only had 5 career runs and returned last month with a fair effort at Bangor. Handles soft and heavy ground well and we are hopeful the first-time hood will help him today too. Was a bit keen last time and rusty at some hurdles but 2lbs lower and should be a lot sharper here and seems to have come on nicely at home. Feel he's got a live e/w chance.

Winning pointer - but not shown much under rules so far. Also returning from around 4 months off so can be expected to improve for this. Soft ground is fine, but will be better once handicapped and so best-watched today.

Darlyn - Delighted with her return run last month at Stratford (3rd). Races against her own sex again here and we are able to claim 10lbs with the jockey today so much better off than last time as well. Significant step up in trip is the main difference this time but we feel she's a stronger horse this year and can suit. Has certainly improved for that last race too and if running well then should also open up some doors re the distance. Looking forward to a nice effort and should not be far away.

Only second run for us after coming from the Tom George yard. Fair debut back in June but given a break since and returns in a weaker race and 3lbs lower. Brian Hughes top jockey booked to ride and knows this track very well, while the horse has a decent record when fresh. Well at home too, so looking forward to a decent run.

Did well last season with 2 wins as a novice hurdler. Returned last month with a good run at Stratford (6th of 9) over hurdles and not beaten far.  Chase debut here today though so just be happy with a solid run. We don't have to carry a big weight - she had 12-4 last time! Trip and ground fine but really just looking for a nice introduction and looks handicapped out of it based on his hurdles form. One to note going forward though in the right races and has time on her side.

Ran well on return run last month at Stratford. Has come out of that race well and has improved for it. We feel he's got a live e/w chance in conditions that will suit.

Work in progress - fair run last time out at Hereford when 7th of 13. Softer ground here today will help and will have improved for that run. But goes without saying the hot Nicholls fav will be hard for us all to beat - so best watched today.

Debut run for the yard - came from the Philip Hobbs team. Working well and is fit for his return to the track. Will be more to come from him and we feel he's on a fair mark. If that's the case looks to have a small e/w chance - while any rain more will be a plus - likes it soft! 1 1/2 stars.

Talkingpicturestv - In good order and delighted with his recent second at Huntingdon. Only 2lbs higher so every chance again. Will need to prove herself on the ground, but we think it'll suit and she stays further than this 2m4f trip which will help in conditions. Should have every chance if handling the ground.

Second runner in the race for us - Fair hurdler but like our other runner is making chase debut here today so a bit of a watching brief. Been jumping nicely at home though so that's a plus - be delighted with a clear round and something to build on.

Down the field on return to the track last time out over hurdles - chase debut here today so really just looking for a nice introduction. Schools well, but best watched today until she's got more experience.

Very nice horse - well bred with Yeats and Generous in his pedigree. Did well last time out back in July when 2nd in a NH Flat race and has schooled well ahead of this. Will be one for the future though in what looks a hot race, with the Snowden runner setting a decent standard.

We've a bit to find at the ratings in this Listed Mares' Hurdle - but deserves to take her chance to try and nab some black-type. Soft ground is fine and only second run back after a wind op so will be more to come. Blew away the cobwebs with a run on the flat at Bath last month too - probably a tall order, with the likes of Lady Buttons etc, but won't disgrace.

Pulled up the last time he raced but that was back in June but has had a wind op since. Seems better for it so looking forward to kicking on with him now. Trip, track and ground all fine but really just hoping for a solid run back and build from there.

Shown fair form in Points and ran well for much of the way last time on hurdles debut at Worcester 3 weeks ago. Has improved for that and expecting another step forward here, but the King and Skelton horses set a fair standard.

Kilfilum Cross - Did well last season for us - and ran a blinder to be second in the Kim Muir at the Festival. Still lightly-raced for his age (9 runs) so should be more to come and looking forward to a decent season with him. Soft ground is fine and only 3lbs higher than his Kim Muir run. Also in a slightly easier grade today, but as a result does have top-weight to carry. Drop in trip today is the only slight concern, but the ground will help bring his stamina into play and has gone well fresh in the past. Overall, can go well- with small e/w claims, but will improve for this and is a horse to note as the season goes on. 1 1/2 stars.

Leskinfere - Top two in the betting set a fair standard but we are not without a chance. First run for us after coming from the Oliver Greenall yard. Has done well since joining us and being dropped into a Selling Hurdle here will make life easier for him. Softer ground and the drop back in trip, we feel will be pluses and Nathan's 10lbs claim another obvious bonus. Not without each-way claims.

CD winner here so the track is no problem. Returns after a 202 day break but is in good form at home. Is 5lbs higher than when winning at the course a few years ago so a bit to find and top-weight here of 11-12 too. But does return on a slightly lower rating that she ended on last season so a small e/w chance here at a venue we know she likes.

Killaro Boy - Veterans' Chase here today for Killaro Boy. Been in fine form in last runs back in May and June - 5lbs higher for his gallant effort in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter last time out. Freshened up with 3-4 months off and has strong each-way claims here at a real jumping track that he'll love. Trip and ground are fine too.

First run back from a break and over a trip that is probably a bit on the sharp side for him then probably best-watched on this occasion.

Working nicley at home - former Point winner, but is back from a break (192 days) so hoping he shapes nicely here today but likely best-watched on this occasion.

One of two in the race and both closely-matched. This 6 year-old returns from a just over 7 months off and seems well for the break. Did well for us last season  - winning twice - but failed to land the three-timer after a fairly busy spell probably caught up with her. Also made a bit of a mess of the last hurdle the last day so we've done plenty of jumping work since too. A lot of weight to carry here, but feel there is more to come from her and the drop back in trip will help with the weight. Overall has it to prove off this mark and with this weight but the ground is ideal. 1 1/2 stars.

Darlyn - Done well for the summer break. Won three of her last four starts for us and our second runner in this race. Looks to have a great chance too and it really is hard to split them. Up 8lbs here for her last win back in March, but another that has done well over the summer and should have more to come too - with what looks a workable mark. Gone well fresh in the past too so the 3-4 month break is fine, but no matter what could still run into a place. Similar chance to our other runner - Small each-way. 1 1/2 stars.

On a bit of a recovery mission after failing to complete in his last four races. But first run for the yard and returns on a 5lb lower mark than last time - has been working nicely since coming to us. Very well-handicapped on for of a few seasons ago as won off a 17lb higher mark so not without a chance if bouncing back. We'll learn more today but acts on all ground and stays further than this trip if stamina needed. Small each-way chance.

She's had a wind op that was needed and in good form at home. Though she's a burly sort and historically improves for the first run - and I think that will be the case again today after the break. She's plenty of ability though, having won 4 times for me since coming from Mick Appleby's yard, and will be in the winners' enclosure again soon. One to note going forward.

Pulled-up the last twice so needs to bounce back from those runs but has had a nice break over the summer and seems well for it. Starting to look well-handicapped and now mark down to around his last winning mark and that's without the jockey taking off 10lbs. Acts on most ground so no issues on that score. Capable but really just be delighted with a step back in the right direction.

Went the right way last season and ended with a fair third at Ludlow so returning here is a plus. Light weight helps on this return but we are up in grade here too so with a 6 month break to overcome too might just need this to blow away the cobwebs.

Came to us from the Philip Hobbs yard after showing a fair level of form in some Novice hurdles last season. Into a handicap for the first time here so will find out more here. But he certainly looks capable of running well in a race like this though with the longer trip expected to suit. Each-way.

Did well over hurdles back in 17/18 and is back over hurdles here after not quite taking to fences last season. Returns on a fair mark though and is also a course winner here at the track. Hoping to get his confidence back and is well at home - gone well off a break before too and should be fine over this 2m6f trip so if all 8 run then not without an each-way claim.

Nice mare but has had her issues - not been seen since April 18, but has been doing better at home and is now ready to hit the track again. Mark is 6lbs lower than last seen and gone well fresh in the past. Would have a small e/w chance if the race falls apart but after such a lay-off it's just nice to get her back on the course and hoping to kick on from here. 1 1/2 stars.

Talkingpicturestv - Returned last month with a fair 5th at Worcester and we come here being dropped a pound for that. Has come on for that outing (2 months off) and get in here off another low weight. Has run well at the track before and the good ground suits her well. Slight drop in trip today but that should be fine and her proven stamina could be an asset in the closing stages. Should have another fair each-way chance. 

Promising sort that has only had four runs but should have a lot more to come. Only had 2 of those runs for us but shaped very well last time out (3rd) at Uttoxeter. That came back in January but we've taken our time with him and first time in a handicap today will be a help. Will love the soft ground and will stay further than this trip too - a few others with similar looking chances but we think Rory can go well here and one to note as the season moves on.

Returns from a few months off - below-par the last day at Cartmel but the tight track probably not ideal and should be much better suited here. Ground and trip are fine and only 2lbs higher than last win. Mares only race so will also help running only against her own sex and Lee Edwards knows the horse well. Each-way chance.

A nice horse that we like a lot. Winning pointer (Hereford) that makes his rules debut here today. Goes well at home and wil love the faster ground. Trip and track ideal too so looking forward to getting going with him. The Murphy horse to beat, but a big run expected and should go close.

In good form - won well at Warwick last time out - up just 3lbs for that and mark looks competitive still with ground and trip ideal. Better race, but should go well and looks to have an each-way chance here. 

Needs to show a bit more - looks a competitive affair so just hoping for a step forward here.

Nice win for the horse last time out at Stratford - up just 2lbs for that and we get in here with another light weight (10-2). The Vaughan horse is the clear one to beat though - just depends if that ones busy spell starts to catch up with it. We are well after a month out and so in a race that lacks depth must have an each-way chance.

First run for the yard - came from the Tom George stable. Shown a good level of form and he's fit and well. Settled in to the yard well too and despite the break has gone well fresh in the past too. Has won off 2lbs higher in the past too so each-way claims.

In good form - ran two solid races - not beaten far both times - and this looks a nice race opportunity for him. Softer ground will help and in a tight little race should go well. My best chance on the day.

A nice horse that is working well - still a bit raw but still hoping for a nice run and to give the horse a bit more of a learning experience.

In good order and we feel the slight drop back in trip will help here. Third most recently at Huntingdon but also 3lbs lower for that run. Fine on the ground too so feel we come here with a small each-way chance with Too Much To Ask looking the one we've all got to beat.

Killaro Boy - First run for us after coming over from Ireland - has settled in well and hoping we've found a good starting point for him. Ground perfect and fair form over in Ireland suggests he'd go well in a race like this - probably got Marcle Ridge to beat but should go well and we come here with a live chance.

Ran well on his first run for us since coming over from Ireland - 2nd here. Track experience a plus and even though we are 6lbs higher we feel he's come on for that run. Jason rides again and is able to claim 7lbs. Also well after 3 weeks off and feel we've got a live chance here.

Third run for us after coming from the Tom George yard. Done well on last two starts - 2nd and 3rd. 5lbs higher this time so a bit more needed, but the slight ease in grade will help. Back a bit in trip too but ran well over this distance in April and Jason knows the horse well. Ground fine too so in a tight little race we feel we head here with as good a chance as any of the others.

Going the right way now and we were pleased with her third (of 16) last time at Taunton. Down a pound for that and similar race conditions today - looks a slightly easier race on paper so hoping that will mean she can go close and hopefully get off the mark. Should go well.

Over in Ireland today with Louis with a top prize on offer. Bounced back to form last time at Ayr with a solid second in a good race and has come out of that race well. Ground is fine too and hopeful the track will suit. Goes without saying a hot race, but feel we head here with a small each-way chance today - anything else a plus.

Corri Lindo - First run for us after coming from the Tony Martin yard in Ireland. Former Point winner over there and despite not winning under rules has some fair form. We'll learn more today as always tricky translating that form to over here, but has settled in well and lightly-raced for his age. Any rain would help his chance, but will still be fine on the ground and Jason's 3lb claim a bonus too. We'll find out plenty today, but feel we'd have small place claims here.

Certainly took a step in the right direction last time out at Exeter when fourth of 12. Down a pound for that run and also feel the slight step up in trip will suit. This will only be her tenth career outing and that last run suggests she's getting the hang of things - a repeat of that run and with the expected improvement should see her run a solid each-way race. Ground is fine too. 

A rare runner on the flat for us here. Not been out since Last April and having first run for us (came from Ed Dunlops), but thought we'd get going with him on the flat to ease him back into things. Goes well enough at home and this step up in trip to 1m6f will help. Delighted to get a run into him but some of the others might just have a fitness advantage over. Hurdles plan with him in the future.

Nice horse but having his debut here today in a bumper so will learn a lot. Won't disgrace, but the three others all have an experience edge on us and it will be a shock if the Nicholls runner isn't taking this.

Well back on debut run at Ludlow last time - the step up in trip, however, will help as got a bit out-paced over 2m there. Looking for a much better run but likely to need more time and experience.

Tough mare that's been in terrific form of late - winning her last two. Up another 6lbs here and into a much better race but has been doing it well to suggest there is more to come. Trip is fine and loves the better ground. We'll see if she's up to the rise in grade - in what looks a tough race - but we could not be happier with her so must have a nice each-way chance.

We were pleased a little bit shocked with his debut run for us last time at Southwell - a fince second that day. Escapes a penalty for that and Jason claims 7lbs again here. Up in grade, but we've only 10-3 (less the claim) this time, as opposed to 11-2 last time. Only niggle would be the bounce-factor as that last run came off a break and was only 7 days ago, but he seems to have come out of that race well so with this lighter weight hopeful of another good run. 2 1/2 stars.

Been a bit poor of late - mainly due to hanging and steering issues. Hoping the return to a track going this way round will help as does tend to hang left. We've done some work with him on that too but until we get into a race can never be totally sure. We are dropped 4lbs here too and in what doesn't look the best of races hopeful of a better showing. Still only had 6 career runs so learning his trade - if he can sort out the steering then certainly would have place claims.

Louis Vac Pouch - Made a promising start to his career with us - winning twice. However, took a tumble last time at Wetherby when beaten (none the worse for that though), but still wasn't too bad a run until falling as the winner - Top Ville Ben - is useful. That also came over 3m, but just found that longer trip stretching him that day too so the drop back to 2m4f will suit. Bit to find with the main two in the market, but certianly feel he can run better than odds suggest. 1 1/2 stars.

Ran a blinder in the Kim Muir - just getting run out of things in the closing stages. Has come out of that well though and only 3lbs higher here. Slight drop in trip will help from 3m2f to 3m and the flatter track will help as well. Acts well on good ground, but all-in-all we are hoping for a big run. Dave Crosse takes the ride.

Third over CD here last season and been running okay recently too. Dropped in grade from last time will help and we are also sporting the cheekpieces for the first time. Down 2lbs from last time too and Jason continues in the saddle to claim 7lbs. Any rain would help his chance but feel we've got a small each-way chance.

Hattaab - First run for us after coming from the Tom George yard - we've not had the horse long so we'll, therefore, find out a lot here. But only had 5 runs over hurdles (yet to place). 5lbs lower mark and Jason's 7lb help too, so looking for a fair run, but also returning from a 6 month absence from the track so hard to get too excited until we learn a bit more here.

Delighted with his win last time out at Sedgefield on what was his first run back for a few months. Has been raised 10lbs for that though so more needed. But has come on for that last run and with only 5 career runs feel there is more to come. The slightly longer trip and stiffer track will be okay too - tougher race, but going the right way and deserves to take his chance. Fear the Suzy Smith horse - Cracker Jak - that looked to win with a bit in-hand last time, but still one of our better chances on the day - each-way.

Returned from a 100 day break last month to run 7th at Sedgefield. 2lbs lower this time but was also not done any favours by a faller that day early on so lost all chance. Stepping up in trip will help her, plus has come on for that last run too. We get in here with just 10-4 in weight, so with a bit more luck in-running feel we've got a fair each-way chance with the Jeremy Scott runner looking the one we've all got to beat.

Been tried over 3m the last twice and hasn't run too badly - just getting a bit tired in the closing stages. 2lbs lower this time and also down in grade from the last run will help. We also feel the first-time blinkers will assist him and hopefully improve his jumping a bit. Very well-handicapped on hurdles form and even though he's not quite translated that to the bigger obstacles as yet, he's not been far off the mark. Was also 5th (of 12) to Festival winner Siruh Du Lac here in December over this CD, but is now 9lbs lower - Open race but looking for much better today. 

Was leading last time at Newcastle when falling - but we think she was in the process of running a nice race that day. Had a month off to get over that and the blinkers are on for the first time here to help her focus. Dickie Johnson is riding too and he's actually 2-from-2 on the mare!! Hoping he can work some magic again on her in a race with many chances. If her jumping holds-up then we feel we've got a solid each-way chance.

We tried Doc over further last time (2m5f) but he didn't really stay the trip so the return to 2m is a plus. 10lbs higher than last win still though (Jan 19) so does need to pull out a bit more but going the right way and we are hopeful there is more improvement to come. Tongue-tie back on today too will help and even though three or four others have similar chances we come here with a decent each-way chance too.

Second runner in the race and looks to have a similar chance to our other runner. Yes, pulled-up last time at Market Rasen over fences but is back over hurdles here as wasn't enjoying things over fences the last day. Is 8lbs lower than chase mark and Jason also takes off another 7lbs. Back in trip a bit here too will be fine and the horse seems well. Open race for the grade but is back down to last winning mark and that's without Jason's claim - must have an each-way chance based on that.

Fifth last time at Chepstow was an okay run but we are 2lbs lower here and Dickie Johnson takes over in the saddle. Conditions are fine and he's come on for that last run, so certainly not without place claims too.

Loves Newcastle!! Has won here a few times, including easily last time and also been placed many times too. Up 6lbs for that last win but Billy, who rode last time, carries on in the saddle to claim 7lbs too. Up in trip, be we can't see why he won't get the distance on better ground here today. In good order and with his love for the track then must have a good solid each-way chance.

Sally is in good order - wouldn't want the ground to be too tacky though as a strong traveller but not as strong in a finish. Still feel we've got small place claims though in an open race.

Progressive sort - big rangy type and I don't think he warrants being a 40/1 chance. Will handle the ground and the trip and track will be fine too. Yes, more needed in this company but if the main players have any off days then would not be shocked if we had small place claims here. 1 1/2 stars.

In good heart - the ground, track and trip are all ideal. Been running well this season over fences, but might just be in need of a holiday and we feel that his wind might need looking at soon. But in good order and been freshened up a bit with a 5 1/2 week break and gets in with a light weight here back over hurdles. We feel he'll win a nice race next year.

Mrs Grey - Open race but is in good heart. Ground and the step up in trip from 2m to 2m5f will hopefully bring out a bit more improvement. Small each-way claims today.

Generous Day - We are returning to Warwick, as he won well here two runs ago. Didn't quite handle Wetherby last time so is better than that. Only 3lbs higher than when winning two runs back over this CD and in this grade. Had a bit of time off too and seems well for it so we are certainly hopeful of a much better run here today.

He is in good order - had a few steering problems of late but we've changed every thing around to help on that score. First run round this track but looks on a workable mark and we feel he's got an each-way chance here today.

Delighted with his win last time out at Warwock - up 7lbs here but has come out of that race well. Up to 3m this time but wasn't stopping over 2m5f last time out so we feel it's worth a crack. Ground fine so if getting the trip no reason why he's not got another solid each-way chance here.

Loads of ability but just been finding 2 or 3 too good in recent races. Drop back in trip will help here, while the slower track and ground will also be in his favour. If putting it in then certainly capable of running a solid each-way race.

Nice filly that is light-framed still so needs more time and experience. On a plus has been working well and jumping nicely at home, but on this occasion is probably best-watched today in a race that looks to revolve around the top four in the market.

Another that's running in what doesn't look a great race - on a workable mark on what she's achieved so far on the track for her handicap debut here today. Drop back in trip is fine and in a race like this should have a better chance - small each-way.

Looks a bad race and despite not winning from 7 runs has been going the right way and not been far away in recent runs. Down another pound here and is working nicely at home so feel in conditions that will suit we've got a fair e/w chance.

Unseated last time out over fences but that came early on in the race so can be forgiven. None the worse for that experience and only a pound higher than last win and also back over hurdles will help. Jason also takes off 7lbs today so that helps and won't mind the soft ground and longer trip - has won over this distance. Open contest, but not without place claims if putting his best foot forward.

Has done very well since joining us from the Hobbs yard - winning his last two in great style. Those wins have come over shorter but has won over 3m in the past so this step up won't be a problem. Goes without saying that Top Ville Ben is the one to beat but that horse needs to bounce back from falling in the RSA Chase last week. Yes, we've 6lbs to find on the ratings but we couldn't be happier with the horse - conditions are ideal so hoping for a big run. Jeremaih McGrath, who has ridden him the last twice for us, continues in the saddle.

Second runner on the day for us and another with a leading chance. Also returns from a small break (3 months), but after not quite fulfilling his potential over fences is back over hurdles on what looks a nice mark. Conditions are fine and the easier track will suit. Add in Jason's 7lb claim too then feel the horse is starting to look dangerous and so a much better effort is expected in what is probably not the best of races.

Darlyn - Been in great form this season - winning two of her last three. Wasn't far behind in fourth last time either and seems well after a few months off. Returns to Southwell as she's won here in the past too and is only 3lbs higher than that victory. The horses in generaly remain in top form and she's proven in the past she can go well off a break.

Casual Cavalier - Course winner and the trip here is fine despite all wins coming over shorter. Was only just touched off over 1/2 a furlong longer last time (2nd) at Ayr. Jockey takes 7lbs off too and has ridden 8 winners from 87 rides so building up plenty of experience. Should go well in an open race.

First time he'll get his ground today this season - acts well on heavy conditions and the horse is well. Feel we've got a small e/w chance here today.
