Very open race but we come here with a squeak after a fair third at Chepstow last time. Down a pound and still only has 10-5 to carry here. The step back up to 3m is fine - small each-way, but is a horse still looking for it's first win (0-from-18). 

Much better last time here when a close second at 100/1 - has come out of that race well and had a month to get over that. Well handicapped still old form and only 2lbs higher here than last time. Alex, who rode last time, keep the ride to claim 7lbs. Decent e/w chance but the Pauling runner might be hard to beat.

Former Pointer that is having his rules debut here today and also first run for the yard. Hoping for a nice run but the horse and us will learn plenty here.

Pulled up the last day at Bangor so we had his wind operated on since. 4lbs lower here and Joe takes off 3lbs more but best watched until we see more on the track.

CD winner here at the track which is a plus, but needs to bounce back from being pulled up at Bangor last time out. 2lbs lower helps and seems well for a 4 month break, but taking on 2 or 3 in-form rivals which makes life tough.

Yet to win a race over hurdles from 13 runs - hoping the drop back in trip will help here and Tabby's 3lb claim a plus as well. Not a great race gives us a better chance but does need to improve from last time. Small e/w

Pulled up the last day so a bit to prove - but the better ground and the shorter trip here will help, plus also dropped 3lbs here and has just 10-5 to carry which helps. Well at home, but taking on much younger legs here and need to see more from last time

Course winner that returned to form last time at Taunton with a fine third. Gets in here off the same mark and despite now being 12 years-old is still enjoying his racing. Versatile in terms of trip - up to 3m1f here today and not without an e/w chance here.

Fair bit to prove at the moment - former useful 140+ chaser only a year or so ago but has lost his way a bit. Dropping mark to 110 means he's starting to look very well handicapped these days but does need to spark something back on the track.

7 runs without a win. First run back last time off a small break and was also first run back from a wind operation. Longer trip will suit, but best-watched until we get to see more on the track.

Useful performer back in the day but has lost this way. Now 11 and pulled up the last three times so hard to fancy. We are trying the visor for the first time to see if that sparks him back to life but best watched for now.

Still learning with just three career runs - improved again last time with a fourth at Ludlow but gets into a handicap here for the first time and that will help. Longer trip here also expected to improve him, while the ground is fine. We'll learn more today re his opening mark, but is going the right way and is a horse that can pick up races in and around this level with more experience.

Still going strong at 12 and showed he's holding his form well last time, despite his age, when third at Taunton. That also came over 2m3f so the step up in trip here to 3m1f will suit and gets in with just 10-2 to carry in weight. Happy with the horse and is a course winner, so has an e/w chance.

Winning Pointer, but was pulled up on Rules debut at Ludlow last month. Slightly longer trip will help but will need more experience and a handicap mark before being more competitive.

12 year-old now. Showed some fair form without winning around this time last season. Needed the run back at Exeter, and also not helped by the lack of hurdles  last time out earlier this month (pulled up). 2lbs lower here helps and seems to have improved for that last run. Should run a better race but last win was back in 2018 so really place chance at best.

Nice horse that's a former winning Pointer - having his debut under rules today. Has settled in well and came to us fit. Straight over hurdles here today as jumps well and having won his Point last time over 3m will be fine over the trip. We'll find out more here today and Tabitha helps to take off 3lbs. Hopeful of a good run but the first three in the market set a fair standard so we'll be delighted with a solid run and hoping to learn plenty here today.

Old boy that is now 12 but still enjoying himself at home. Last seen on the track in March 21, when a fair third at Taunton and returns here 3lbs lower. Is also a course winner here at Exeter and has been a horse that's gone well fresh in the past. Soft/heavy ground is fine too and his light weight of 10-8 will help on that front too. Charlie Deutsch rides so feel we've got a nice e/w chance here today.

Went well in a bumper at Worcester back in October (3rd) so has ability. Was fourth on hurdles debut last time at Southwell but stayed on well in the closing stages that day - albeit a well-beaten fourth. The longer trip here will help and he's sure to improve with racing and experience. Unlikely to trouble the first two in the market, but no surprise to see a step forward here with the softer ground a plus too.

A run over hurdles is the first for a good while and just hoping to get him back in love with the job. The heavy ground should be in his favour and he is flying at home. However, he does need things to go his way in a race. Best watched still but looking for a step forwards today.

Former Pointer that had his first run for us in October, when third at Worcester in a bumper. Was only beaten 10 lengths that day behind a Nicholls runner and has done well at home since. Takes on a hurdle for the first time here but has schooled well and even though the first 4 in the betting look likely to fight this out, no surprise to see a fair run though and if the principles run below par then small e/w chance.

Debut run today on the track - goes well enough at home but very much first day at school today and will improve for the experience.

Looks a nice opportunity for Phoebus today, but the ground has to be a worry. he has run well in softish but we have not thought heavy is for him. hands & heels should suit as he doesn't go any faster for a smack anyway! 

Much improved effort last time at Huntingdon when third to an in-form horse. Down a pound for that helps and also the slight drop in trip will help having lost a place or two in the closing stages last time. Lorcan knows the horse well too so feel we've a bit of improvement on that last run we can go well here and should not be far away.

Has been hugely disappointing over obstacles after promising pointing & bumper runs. Tipped up last time, but was always outpaced on quick ground. trip probably still too short, but a clear round is the most important thing today to rebuild his confidence.

Fair form a few years ago when trained in Ireland and rated in the 150's, but has lost his way a bit since. But has only had one run for us, when pulled up at Cheltenham earlier this month. Needed the run that day and was first since a wind op. 5lbs lower here and trying him up in trip here to see if that opens more doors. But very much more needed on what we saw last time and looks a hot race - be happy with a step in the right direction.

Loves the track here at Southwell and is a past CD winner here. Has returned this season with a few fair efforts - improving each time - and will again be better here for those outings. Dropped a few pounds in the ratings and will love the better ground. One of the first three in the betting, however, might be hard to topple, but we look the value e/w call in the race at a venue we are proven at. 

Would of gone close last time if not for unseating at the last. If his jumping holds should be going close again.

Came over from Ireland in the Summer, having rather lost his way. working well at home, its his first run for a long while, and hoping that a change of scenery will have revived his love of racing. Mostly just hoping for a solid run today that we can build on going forwards

Came to us from the Gary Moore yard. Having his first run for the yard and has had a wind op just before coming to us too. Trying to get some confidence back into him over hurdles first and it goes without saying he’s thrown in at the deep end a bit here.

Hard to get too excited until we see more on the track - is also racing 2lbs out of the handicap here. On a plus, this is his first run in a handicap and that will help, but would like to see an improved showing first. 

Was never travelling last time out at Stratford and eventually pulled up. Sam Twiston-Davies takes over and is switching back to hurdles here today. Has bits and pieces of form in the past but need to see more consistency on the track.

Yet to win a race but has only had 6 runs under rules. Yet to trouble the judge either but has had a recent wind op so hoping to see some improvement here. But very much more needed with the first-time blinkers on.

Pulled up the last day at Uttoxeter so more needed on that but will be one step nearer getting a handicap mark after this and that will help going forward. Tongue-tie on today though and just be happy with some improvement. The Henderson horse is the obvious call here.

Former Pointer, who has failed to get around in his two races so far in that sphere. First run under rules here in a NH Flat race so looking forward to seeing how he gets on. Nothing to jump today and James takes off a handy 3lbs, but one for the future really with more experience.

Needed the run the last day at Hexham on his return. Slight drop in trip will help and back over fences here. Has only has three runs over fences so should be more to come. But really just he happy with an improved run with the first two in the market looking likely to fight this one out.

Down the field last time out at Bangor on his return run. Has come out of that race well and improved at home for it. But is back over hurdles here on a 5lb higher rating. More on his plate but is only 6lbs higher than his last win over hurdles and will like this return to 2m. Small place chance but would probably need a career best.

More required on what we've seen so far, but only had three career runs and one over hurdles. Will learn more today and be better once getting a handicap mark.

Finished last season with a good second, and seems in great heart at home. Certainly would not want the ground to go too soft, and needs to keep his act together jumping, but hopeful of a decent run.

Won well at Southwell back in June but ran too bad to be true there the next time over half a mile further. No real reason for that came to light so we gave him a break (3 months) and are back in trip here today. Ground is fine and only a pound higher than last win so that give us a chance. Lorcan knows the horse well and continues in the saddle - can also claim 3lbs. Needs to put that last run behind him, but more than capable and if so looks a fair e/w option.

Realistically nearing the end of his career but he is great hearrt at home and went very close in this race two years ago. He is always one that needs things to go his way, but with some luck in-running could be run into a place.

Very unlucky earlier in the year when he looked to have the race at his mercy when tipping up two out. A tricky character to deal with we are hoping that he will behave himself, and build on what was a good run until the second last!

First run over hurdles in some very decent company today. Has been schooling well, and hoping for a decent first run to build on for the future.

Gone up 10lb for 2 runs, in very good form at home, and loves the track. 2m4f shouldn't be a problem, but hoping the rain holds off. If it does, should have every chance at a track he's a proven course winner at.

First run over regulation fences, hoping does the trick in helping show some improvement but we'd like to see that on the track first before being more confident.

Has largely been disappointing after some early OK runs - and been pulled up the last twice. Trying to build on those better runs, and just hoping for some improvement today really so hard to fancy until we see a bit of a return to form.

Racecourse debut today. She has taken some time to come to hand, but is working nicely at home. No real expectations in a competitive little race, but we have to start somewhere!

Ran way above expectation last time after a break. This is a more competitive race, but we would hope that he will be involved at the business end again - each-way chance, with Lorcan taking a handy 3lbs off like last time.

Got tired over 2m4f last time at Bangor so the drop back to 2m here will help. Will also prefer the better ground and we are sporting the blinkers today to help him focus. Minor e/w chance in a race that looks to revolve around the Chris Grant runner - Six One Nine.

Course winner here in the past and has run well on his two starts this year. Dropped 2lbs for a recent fourth at Southwell, will love the ground and not without a chance, but is taking on 3 or 4 in-form rivals so we might have to settle for a place.

Been out of sorts on the track recently so we are running him over hurdles here today to try and get some confidence back. Therefore, just looking for an improved run.

Pulled up the last day at Warwick over 3m but is down a few pounds for that and in this better race we get in with just 10st to carry. That said, we are stil racing 3lbs out of the handicap. The drop back in trip will help but the softer ground today is a bit of an unknown. Really just looking for a better run and build from there.

One Point run and ran ok in a hot maiden. Doing nothing wrong at home but probably just hoping for a decent placed run

Still lightly-raced with only five career runs, has shown some ability but has also had some issues. we are still building up his confidence, and he got badly hampered turning in last time. He really wants further but its all about education & confidence for hiom at the moment. Ground is fine too so be happy with a step forward here and an improved run in what doesn't look the best of races, but fairly competitive for the grade.

Pleasing run back last time at Warwick (5th of 12). Has come out of that race well and we are dropped 4lbs too. We also have Lorcan riding to take off another 3lbs, so a fair bit better off than last time. Trip and ground are fine too, so not without a small e/w chance at a fair price, but the Kirby horse is in-form and could still be ahead of the handicapper. wouldn't want the grond to go too soft

Pleasing run last time after a long time off when second at Warwick - ran well for much of the way and just got a bit tired in the closing stages. Seems well at home since and if repeating that we would be hopeful of a place - anything else a bonus.

Second runner in this race for us. First run for a good while (193 days), and he usually needs it first time out so really just nice to get going with the horse again and looking for a solid return run to build on.

Pulled up the last twice so needs to improve on those runs. Is 6lbs lower than last time though and this is only his second run in a handicap. The slightly better ground will help and we are also putting the cheekpieces on to help him settle and Lorcan takes off a handy 3lbs. The Evans Williams horse looks the likely winner, but we could run into a place - anything else a plus.

Old timer at 12, but still not the oldest in this race! CD winner here at the track helps and also down another 4lbs from last run. Got a bit outpaced last time over a shorter trip so the step back up to 2m5f will help and won't mind the ground. But just get done by some younger legs, but small chance of hitting the frame at a venue he likes.

Pulled up the last twice so more needed on those runs. Is 5lbs lower here and gets in here on a low weight (10-8) so that helps, but just be delighted with a step in the right direction.

Off the track for over a year but can run well fresh! That said, no matter what will come on for the run but is well at home and does have a consistent profile.

Jumped and travelled well last time but got tired from turning in - will strip fitter for that run and might be worth a little bit each-way today

Fair fifth at Huntingdon last time out. Step up in trip and better ground should suit here and the headgear is back on, each-way claims.

Didn't run too badly last time here after 3-4 months off - just getting a bit tired in the closing stages. Drop back in trip here today, but that should be fine and does seem to run well here at the track. With a light racing weight too then would have an e/w chance here.

Disappointed with her lack of effort last time when pulled up at Huntingdon. Down 5lbs for that so looking for at least a better effort today, but we'd just be happy with a move forward from last time.

Very much first day at school here today - tongue-tie on to help with the breathing and Tabitha's 5lb claim will help, but one for the future with more experience under his belt.

The horses have been running well this week and with Glen dropped in grade a tad, then we feel he's not without a small e/w chance. Also down 4lbs in the ratings here helps and should be at home more over this longer trip and on the better ground.

Will be happier on this better ground, but it is a long time since he ran, so will come on a lot for this! Can be not the most resolute of characters so hopefully the headgear will concentrate his mind!

A bit underwhelming in his points, but shows plenty at home and we will be happy with a solid run in this NH Flat race and build from there.

Ran a great race last time to just get collared up the run in. Has come out of that race well. Always tries hard to give his best and must have a chance with Lorcan taking the 3lbs off that he went up for that run.

First time in a handicap & her mark looks high enough - step up in trip should be in her favour though, along with some better ground so just be happy with a step forward here.

Didn't try a yard on his reappearance last time, and will need to find his form first time over fences. Schooling well at home though, but realistically a nice safe round is top priority today.

Yet to win from 8 starts but has been dropped 4lbs more here so that helps and we also feel the step up in trip is worth a try. Tighter track today too should help, but really overall just looking for a step forward from recent runs and build from that.

Fair run at Warwick the last day after a few months out. Only fifth career run here today and into a handicap for the first time will help. Trip and ground are fine and seems to be slowly going the right way. Be happy with another step forward here.

Pulled up the last day but the heavy/soft ground wasn't ideal and was highly-tried that day in a G2. Into calmer waters here and back on a quicker surface here will help. Also ran well here at Hereford back in November in a maiden hurdle so we know the track is fine. Into a handicap for the first time too and that should make him more competitive. Should be more to come from him and small e/w chance.

A talented individual who has not had a straightforward time of it. Off the track since November 19 though, and consequently may need this run. 

Might be a tall order for us all to beat the Skelton horse, who could be ahead of the handicapper still after an easy win last time out. We'd have a fair chance of a place though in a race that doesn't look the best - especially after his decent fourth at Taunton last time out. Dropped a pound for that and returns to a track he's won at before. Ground is fine too and the step up in trip is not an issue - was a close second over 3m at Ludlow back in December. Place claims, but the market leader will be hard to beat.

The better ground will suit again could do with a bit further in trip, but getting in races is an issue at present so takes her chance today.

First time in a handicap, but this is quite a stiff task & we would probably preffered a slightly further trip. In good form though so hopeful of at least a place

Took a bit of a step forward last time here when 8th of 18, but will gain more experience here and be one step nearer to getting a handicap mark. Will be more competitive once that happens.

A really nice young horse, but he needs a mark. This is his third run, and whilst trip etc should be fine, we don't expect to see him in the shake up today, but hopefully a nice horse for the future.

As with our other runner she will need a mark to be seen to her best effect. The heavy ground last time did not help her cause at all and hopefully it will be less attritional today.

Two miles & a different track will need to work the oracle! More than capable though, but just not putting his best foot forward theses days so hard to pass on anything more positive until we see more on the track.

Had a couple of nice runs pointing, and this is her first run for us. Ground probably not in her favour but as we keep getting balloted we have to make a start somewhere. Will definitely need a mark and today is all about an educational first run.

Little horse in great form at home - 11 years-old now, but still loving racing. Based on last run (2nd at Ludlow) should have a good chance (been balloted out about 50 times since then!), hence the small break. Would prefer a bit further in trip, but having to take what we can get with him at the moment. A real yard favourite and should go well with Lorcan Murtagh taking off a handy 3lbs. Each-way.

Down the field at Wolves last time out - down 4lbs here helps, but we need to see a return to form on the track really before being more confident.

Ran well at Hereford two starts ago and has shown ability, but still learning. Hot race so goes without saying on what we've seen so far a lot more improvement needed here. But will gain a lot of experience here and will be a step nearer getting a handicap mark after this - will be a lot more competitive then.

Second runner in the race for us and a similar chance to our other runner. Tough race so in at the deepend a bit here but will learn a lot and at least get a mark after today.

Lightly-raced mare still, with just 6 career runs. Dropped another 5lbs from last time out after being pulled up at Leicester, while we are trying her with the cheekpieces today. Overall, more required. Heavy ground wasn't ideal last time and we'll see how the ground is today as a lot of rain etc - if conditions are heavy then may not even run.

Certainly in his twilight years now, but has had a wind op after a problem in running last time. From so far out of the handicap we are not expecting him to trouble the judge but hope to see him running on at the end, although it sometimes takes more than one run for a horse to have the confidence to know that they can actually breathe properly.

Did really well back in November - winning twice - but as a result shot up the handicap and is now 10lbs higher than the last of those successes. Tabitha's 5lb claim helps again and the horse has had a month off to get over that busy spell (4 races in about 6 weeks). Might have liked better ground too but is well for his time off and as long as conditions don't get any worse would have place chances.

A rather enigmatic character who has plenty of ability should he choose to use it! The extra couple of furlongs today should suit him, but it will be a case of kidding him into it, so that he doesn't think he is making too much effort!!

A lovely young horse who ran well first time out - when fourth of 11 at Hereford. Has come out of that race well, but second run here in a hotter affair though so a lot more needed and he will want further in time.

Has shown bits of form in the past - winning over hurdles and on the flat in Ireland. Yet to sparkle for us from two runs though and only 3lbs lower than when well down the field at Southwell last time. Therefore, goes without saying we need to see more on the track before being more confident.

Second run here today towards getting his handicap mark - ran well last but ultimately will want a lot further in time and also a fence!

This is a step up in class for Mr P, and he will need to up his game. He is well at home and if all goes to plan he could go close.

Had a pleasing return after a long time off, but has had a slightly interrupted follow on. He likes Warwick, and as long as the interruption hasn't got in his way could run into a place.

First run for us, and this is very much just part of his education. Ultimately he will be a three mile chaser but he has to learn his job first and this is day one at school.

A lot to prove at the moment after being pulled up on his last 5 starts! Certainly capable on his day though and won well off a 6lb higher mark back in Jan. Is also a CD winner here and stays further than this trip so that will help on this stiffer track. If in the mood then can't totally rule out but not one to totally trust and goes without saying after 5 poor runs has a bit to prove.

Second run for us, and increase in trip should help, but ultimately will probably want to go up even further.

Off the track for over two years, and is sure to need it today. He's done as much as we can at home now, and hopefully this will be a nice prep run for a return to fences.

up a massive 12 lbs for Herford win, so a total of 19 lbs for two success, which seems rather harsh. He is in good form though and will hopefully put in another bold show.

First run for 9 months, and she may well need it. She showed plenty of promise in the spring, however, and should make up into a competitive type at her level, that will probably not be today though!

First time chasing today, she has shown ability over hurdles, but can be fizzy and gets her timing all wrong. Hoping that chasing will give her a bit more time to sort herself out. She has schooled very well at home and whilst the main thing is a nice clear round if she settles she could well put in a good run.

First run for us after disappointing last time out over hurdles. If he retains some of his old enthusiasm he could run into a place, and seems well at home, but it's more about finding out a bit some about him today.

Will benefit from having a run, but has been working well at home, so one to keep an eye on for the future.

Charlie Hammond rides again and can claim 3lbs.

Another old-timer of ours out today - but ran a blinder to be a neck second at Warwick last time and that was his first run back after a wind op. Has had a month to get over that and seems very well at home for it. Amateur riders' race but we've an experienced pilot in Alex Edwards so that helps too. Should go close.

Has been running consistently well without quite troubling the judge. First attempt at this trip so hard to be too confident, but shaping up last time as if he would stay - if he does it will open up more opportunities for the horse.

Really a prep run to go back chasing. Working well at home, but his real target is chasing this season. Therefore, best watched today.

Outsider chances to be realistic, he has had a wind op since his last run, but needs to up his game and is probably better right handed. However, options are limited at the moment so he has to take his chance, as the ground at Perth could go too soft for him so heads here to Warwick.

Former winning Pointer that showed ability in a bumper back in March. We were disappointed with her last time on hurdles debut though, but couldn't find anything amiss. Hoping for a much-improved run today - slight worry that the trip will be a bit on the short side.

Phoebus is well, but has a tough task on his hands today. Tongue-tie is on for the first time to see if that helps a bit - overall he's a horse that needs to have things go his way, and if that should happen he could still have small placed chances at a fair price.

Ideally would want to go a bit further in trip, but this is first time in a handicap. She ran very well last time, and could run into a place at a long price.

Lot more needed on what we've seen in last two runs at Leicester - on a plus, has run okay at the track before so the return to the AW will help, but hard to get too excited until we see more on the track.

Will certainly come on for her run last time, but needs a mark to be seen at her best, which she'll get after today's run.

Ran okay two runs back but found the trip a bit on the sharp side last time at Bangor (both over hurdles) - therefore, the step up in distance here is a plus. He's back over fences here - only third run over the bigger obstacles - but jumps well and is rated 3lbs lower over fences. We are the only distance winner in the field, so that must count for something. Going Mobile probably the one to aim at, but we head here with fair place claims.

Pulled far too hard for his own good last time, and consequently didn't quite get home. He should have come on a bit for that though, and if he settles & gives himself a chance should be capable of a decent run.

Only second run for the yard - yet to win a race from 10 runs and really needs to show a bit more. Drop in trip to 7f will help though and gets in here with a low weight but still need to see more on the track before being more confident.

Ran really well on hurdles debut and in good heart at home. This is a hot little contest with the Fry runner the obvious one that sets the standard - but she has place claims here today at a nice price with ground, track and trip all fine.

Ran well last time, and has place claims. Trip a slight worry as may be on the short side for him, and he is a horse that likes to have things go his own way. Very capable if he is in the mood! For Pleasure looks the obvious one, but in a race that lacks depth we'd have an e/w chance.

The old warrior is in great form at home, 2m might be a bit sharp for him these days but he is in good heart and conditions will suit as long as it doesn't get too soft.

A really nice filly who ran well for a long way on ground probably too soft in her bumper back in March at Stratford (6th and only beaten 8 lengths). Conditions should suit today, she is schooling and working well and we are hoping for a good run on debut run over hurdles.

No great hopes for this one today. Has ability but it does all have to go his way, as he is not the most resolute individual! However he is working very well at home, and conditions should suit so be delighted with a solid run and build from there.

Only had 4 career runs an they've all been on the flat - highly-tried in a good staying Ascot race last time out but is having hurdles debut today. Tongue-tie will help and fit and well after recent runs so a fair run expected. Jumps well  but will of course learn a lot from this and likely to be better in time and once handicapped over the sticks.

Not getting any younger at 11 but fairly lightly-raced for his age and still showing up well at home. On his best form should have a chance and is a proven CD winner at the track. First run for a good while (256 days) so might just need and no matter what will improve for the outing - however, the trip and conditions are right for him so we are still hopeful of at least a place.

First run for us and a change in trip. Has been sprinting, but hard to see him at that trip from his work at home. May be that we have got it wrong, but a wind op should help him too. Definitely a watching brief today though.

First run for us, and also our first runner jumping of the new campaign! Seems well at home, but can be a bit of a monkey and does just need things to go his way to make his best effort.

Probably a bit high in the handicap after good effort last time. This is a tough call for him, running against three last time out in form winners, but he goes there fit & well & the trip should suit. Light weight helps as does the jockey claim, plus any more rain would be a bonus too.

This will be his third run, and he will be much better when handicapping. Realistically just hope we are not too far behind!

Debut run came at Chepstow and finished down the field - that came back in July 19. Is well at home but this is only his season run. Needs more time and experience and really also needs a mark and will be better once running in handicaps.

First run back after a long break, and a lot of problems! He is a very buzzy type, and not easy, so this is very much a fact finding mission, and just hoping for a nice safe run, and to learn a bit more about him.

Into the unknown over three miles - needs to settle well to get home and hoping he will appreciate going further and be thereabouts. He is a class horse on his day but has lost his way a bit recently, which is why we are going further so fingers crossed that this will work. Each-way.

Not shown much of late - Tongue strap fitted today, hoping to work the oracle! But we'd need to see it on the track first.

Won this race a few years ago - fresh and well, plus acts well round this track. 2miles maybe be a bit sharp for him these days though, but 10lbs off with the jockey's claim too. Small e/w chance at a venue we know he likes. 1 1/2 stars.

Career low mark, and 10lb off with the jockey claim so that helps a lot -first run back from wind surgery but that went well and hopefull of a nice run with conditions fine. Each-way.

A really nice filly who we have been trying to find some decent ground for!! It seems that it will never happen so are having to bite the bullet & just get on with it! She is working well at  home, but the ground could be an issue.

Just got run out of the places last time when 4th at Huntingdon - still a decent effort and only beaten just under 3 lengths. Drop in trip here will help and Lorcan Murtagh takes over in the saddle. Had a nice break since and so we feel another good run is on the cards. Should be thereabouts. E/W.

Last seen winning at Leicester, but that came back in Jan 19. First run back after a life-threatening problem so based on that just looking for a nice return run from her and go from there.

Ran a blinder last time, and if she can build on that could well be in the shake up. Slightly concerned that the race might come up a bit quick for her, but has the makings of a nice filly. Will likely come into her own properly once she has a mark.

Is so hard to gauge - it's either a 1st or a Pulled-up with this horse, and you don't know what you are getting till the day! Seems well at home but although he has won 5 chases is certainly not one to rely on based on the above. Tabitha takes off a handy 5lbs.

Very similar call to our other runner today. Likes a better surface so not really been able to run recently with the ground soft in most places. Ceris rides this one too and can claim 10lbs so will gain more experience race riding here today too. Will improve for the run.

Doesn't really do soft ground so not had many chances during the last 3-4 months! So, though this was a good chance to get him to stretch his legs. Jockey takes off 10lbs, so that will help but after 5 months off would be a massive shock if he's troubling the judge.

Happy with his return run at Taunton 2 weeks again (5th of 12). That came off a 4 month break so has come on for the run. Also 5lbs lower here and the drop back to 2m is fine. Handles soft ground too so feel we ng off 5lbs th an each-way claim with Tabby taking off 5lbs too.

Hoping the ground will not be excessively heavy, he has a decalartion tomorrow in case the heavens open this afternoon

In much the same place as Vocaliser except that this is a warmer contest than Market Rasen last time, when he looked much more like his old self. If no 'bounce' is involved we would be hoping for a placed run.

CD winner here at Leicester that won't mind the soft ground. Very pleased with his last run - staying on second at Sedgefield - as that was also first run back off a wind op. If he can build on that should not be far away. He seems to have come through that race well, and we would be hopeful of a decent run today off the same mark and with Tabitha also claiming 5lbs again.

First run over hurdles today - she got a bit tired in her bumper so will have come on for that run. We really like her at home, and she does everything very easily. Obvioulsy into the unknown today, and all about learning her job, so just hoping for a solid educational run.

Looks our better chance on the day - not fired in recent runs but has had a wind operation since. Always a bit tricky first time back after the op but returning on a nice mark and Tabitha's claim (5lbs) a help too. Soft ground is fine and so is this trip. So if the op has helped him then off this mark not without an each-way chance and should not be far away.

All Is Good : Back after a long break. Might well need the run but hoping for an improved effect if the ground isn't against him.

Up 5lbs for his Ludlow second - had a small break to freshen-up since and seems well for it. Tabitha gets on well with the horse and track, trip and ground all fine. Open race, but he should have at least a place claim today.

Ran well last time, only just failing to catch the winner. the slightly longer trip should suit and we are hopeful of another good run today - should not be far away.

Conditions should suit today, and we are hoping for a good run. She is consistent at her level, and providing she is over the lurgy that gripped the yard, should at least make the frame.

Under normal circumstances we would be hoping for at least a placed effort, but we are still cautious after the yard having a self-imposed shut down from runners over Christmas & it is hard to be confident after the string have not been quite right. Seems well at home so hoping for a solid run - but rather wait and see on the track first.

First runners back after horses being wrong, but hoping for a decent run! Ran well last time only beaten a short distance despite finishing 9th. If he can build on that he won't be too far away off a 5lb lower mark. Poppy rides and claims 5lbs too.

Former winning Pointer that ran in a hot bumper at Cheltenham last time out. Will have more to come but she's likely to need more time with the plan to go hurdling soon.

Disappointing so far this term, and possible that confidence still dented from a crashing fall when brought down in the spring. If bouncing back to his best would have place chances, but we'd like to see that on the track first really.

Come down to a handy mark on the flat, has some good form in his early runs. Ground too soft to go hurdling so that's why we are on the flat today - but hoping for a decent run and could run better than odds suggest with Luke Morris riding.

Bits of form last season but we've given him a wind op over the summer and hoping that will help him kick on now. Trip and ground are fine and gone okay off a lay-off in the past. Hood is also on for the first time and that should help him focus. Nicholls horse the likely winner, but feel we are not without a small e/w chance.

CD winner here that is returning from a break so might just need this. Light weight but another of ours that is running from out of the handicap and due to be dropped in the future. Trip and ground is fine and another that Tabby rides to take off 5lbs. ust be happy with a solid run back and go from there.

Big ask as running out of the handicap here and also not shown much to date. Tabby's 5lbs claim helps and softer ground should help him but really best watched until we see more on the track.

If the forecast rain comes through the day he may be a possible non runner, but is unpredictable at best! Perfectly capable, but does need everything to go his way so hard to out forward with much confidence until we see more on the track.

Conditions should suit, and we are hopeful of a good run today after needing the outing last time from a break. He needs to be held right up so hopefully the race will pan out in his favour at a track he's a proven CD winner at. Soft ground is fine too and Tabitha can claim a handy 5lbs. Certainly hopeful of better than last time and a nice each-way price.

First run over hurdles, and best-watched for now with more racing experience and time needed for her.

Mr Palmtree - A much-improved performance last time, this is a step up though and he will need to improve again to win, but seems well, and should be capable of at least a place. Tabitha rides again and claims 5lbs. 2 1/2 stars.

Only four runners and all look to have a squeak. Will strip much fitter for return run earlier this month when 6th at Warwick. Dropped 5lbs for that run helps and we get a fair bit of weight from all the others. Conditions are fine too so hopeful of big run off what is a career-low rating.

In great form and has come on a lot for her last run at Chepstow from a break. 2lbs lower this time and won't mind the soft/heavy ground. Ceris also rides again and takes off a massive 10lbs and that will obviously be a massive help. Track also fine - has run here many times (yet to win), but has been 2nd a fair few times - hopefully she can go one better today!

Mr Palmtree - After a nice run last time - when fourth at Ludlow on return run - he seems in good form at home, and should be more confident on his second run after a wind op. Ease in grade, plus dropped 5lbs for that last run - Tabitha takes off 5lbs extra too. We are hopeful of at least a place today. 2 1/2 stars.

Back after a longish break he is probably best-watched for this first run of the new season.

A really nice filly but very green still. We really like her at home, but we are not known for bumper winners. In time she will be smart but educational run today. One to note going forward.

Massively disappointing and no better last run, up in trip & some headgear needs to work the oracle, but best-watched until we see more on the track and some old sparkle.

Usually runs well fresh, but ours have been needing their first runs. Race & conditions should suit, and he is well at home though so won't disgrace, but one to look for as the season moves on.

Second runner in the race for us. Nomination Game is very well and come on for recent run at Wincanton when 6th of 10 - over a trip that was probably on the short side for him too. Is 3lbs lower this time and ease in grade will help. Only niggle is the unknown on this ground as never run on soft before. If he handles it then each-way chance. 1 1/2 stars.

Anticool is a course winner and in good form. Gets in with a nice racing weight (10-7) and Tabitha knows the horse well. She can claim 5lbs this time too so that also helps. Slight worry about the ground being too soft though so as better form being on a sounder surface. 1 1/2 stars.

C&D winner, ground will suit, but he has had a very stop start prep this year, and ours are needing their first runs. As game as a pebble, and a great favourite at home he will undoubtedly come on for the run though.

We were disappointed with him last time, and are concerned that the ground is still fast enough for him today. It's still given as good even after recent monsoons, which must have gone around Hereford! If it's anyway quick he will not run though.

Back from a long break, and back over hurdles as a prep run for going back to fences. He is in good heart at home though, but he will certainly come on for the run and is best-watched today.

The Lion Man is not a reliable character, well able on his day, but you never know what you're going to get - so based on that hard to be too confident, but seems well at home.

First run back since January, so she will proably need the run. On a plus, conditions will suit but she has been off for a good while, so - as mentioned - will be sure to come on for today.

Hot-looking race. Winning pointer, will come on for the run though and will be one to note more over hurdles in the future.

First run back since a win at the end of last season. Seems well at home possibly not quite as well in as last time out, but still hoping for a solid run, although - having said that - may come on for this season opener.

Mixing it up over the jumps and on the flat at the moment. A few pounds lower than last run on the flat but still we need to see more on the track. Any significant rain would be a negative but will at least give Fin, who is riding, some more experience.

Has run well off this mark in the past and certainly well-handicapped on old form, but is not getting any younger at 11 and is also returning from a 4 1/2 month break. Actual chase record is not bad with 15 top three finishes from 37 runs so if the race falls apart could sneak into a place off this mark, but no matter what will improve for this. 1 1/2 stars.

The first of our jumpers to really get going but is back after a long break. He is not the most reliable of characters although does have ability when it all goes his way. He will almost undoubtedly come on for the run though.

Angel Of The North : outside chance at best, back over hurdles after a couple of amateur flat races, we try blinkers today see if that helps.

A quick run after Friday, and another chance for the jockey to gain some experience - so best-watched really today

Course winner but based on recent run (8th) and beaten 40+ lengths this is a big ask. On a plus, the step up in trip will help as found the 1m2f last time too sharp. Jockey's claim helps, but hoping to get the horse over the sticks in the coming months and should be seen in a better light then.

Unseated his jockey last time out - is none the worse for that but has still only shown moderate form. Only had 4 career runs so still learning - not holding our breath here though and really just be delighted with a nice clear round and a step forward.

First time in a handicap here today and also first run over fences. Light weight helps but more needed on what he's shown to date over hurdles. Will be more competitive now handicapped though, but best-watched until he gets more experience over fences and shows us a bit more on the track.

Novice amateur riders' race and first ride for our jockey - Finbar Mulrine. Also first run for the yard after coming from the Dan Skelton yard. Longer aim will be back over the sticks, but in a race like this not a betting proposition - we'll learn more about the horse here.

Lovely young horse who will want further in time. Working well at home but fact finding mission today.

Only third run for us and fourth in total - not shown much so far but will be better once getting a handicap mark and running in that grade. Drop back in trip will help though as got tired over further last time and looking to get more experience into him here today. One for the future.

Not shown much to date - 0 wins from 9. Dropped a few more pounds here and we've a 10lb claimer on riding as well, so that helps. But still running from 3lbs out of the handicap. Feel the longer trip will help, but really just be happy with an improved effort and build from there.

She will probably find the shorter trip a bit on the sharp side but there are limited options at the moment. Will have come on a bit for the last run though and Charlie's 7lb claim a help but also running 3lbs out of the handicap here. Certainly feel we can take a step forward from last time - small place claims if able to keep tabs on them during the first half of the race. 1 1/2 stars

Looking rather moderate - based on recent runs. We are hoping the easier ground and change of trip might help - plus she also sports the first-time blinkers today - but certainly not holding our breath

Very much a fact-finding mission today after a disappointing run Pointing. Chris Ward takes off 5lbs, which will help, but really just looking for a step in the right direction.

Anti Cool - Inconsistant since return from a long lay-off. Best run was at Wincanton so hopefully going back right-handed may help. Tabitha rides this one for us too and claims 7lbs so that helps as well. Light weight a plus, but does need to bounce back.

Disappointing in first time handicap last time, hopefully cheek pieces may show some improvement and the jockey's 7lb claim a help - but just looking for a step in the right direction.

No expectations for the mare tonight. She has had a long break after an injury & will certainly come on for the run.

Up 9lbs for the win, so we are hoping to take advantage of just the 7lb penalty today. Tycross Warrior did not have a hard time at Uttoxeter, and we are hoping for a quick follow up. Apres Le Deluge is a worry, but still hoping for a big run.

wycross Warrior - TImproving with every run back from a long lay-off. Looks a nice race for him and looks on a handy mark now. Feel with got place claims here today with conditions fine too.

First time into a handicap here and that will be a big help. Up in trip too will suit and Charlie's 7lbs claim a bonus as well. Will be more to come now from her and feel we come here with fair place claims.

Yet to win a race but took a big step forward last time out when fourth (of 18) at Uttoxeter. Hasn't gone up for that run but we feel the step up to 3m here will suit after staying on over 2m4f that day. Jack rides again and should have an decent chance 2 1/2 stars.

Ran a blinder last time at Ludlow - just getting chinned on the line. Same mark here today and similar conditions. Has come out of that race well with 3 weeks to get over it so no reason why he can't go close again. One of my better chances on the day.

Still showing a love for his racing at the age of 11. We've given him a small break from his last run and he seems better for it. Think we've also found an average-looking race so that will also help. Ground and trip are perfect too, while we are mixing it up by putting the visor back on, instead of the blinkers. Does need to bounce back but certainly well handicapped on old form so that must give us an e/w chance.

This race should be going to the Snowden runner. Sam is a former pointer that has only had 6 runs so should be more to come in time. But will be much more competitive once handicapped so just hoping he'll learn a bit from today.

We have always liked this horse, but he has had his problems and never really had a consistent run. He ran OK last time & would have small place claims if coming on for that run. 1 1/2 stars.

It's very hard to predict this horse, he has bags of ability but is very much a see what you get on the day! However, it looks nice opportunity for him as long as the ground does not go too soft, and if he runs as well as at Wincanton should not be far away!

Mr Palmtree a horrible fall last time when completely unsighted at the first here at Warwick - had a month to get over that, so really just wanting a nice clear round today to get his confidence back and go from there.

Our main danger today is Johnny Yuma who won last time. He carries a 7lb penalty while we went up 3lbs for Wincanton, but repeating last time we should go very close. Track & ground should suit, so we are hopeful for a solid run.

Only the 4 runners today, Baby King is down to a handy mark,. and although he has some very strong older form took a heavy fall last time. Spock is very exposed and Billy Hicks has some decent hurdle form. Our runner - All Is Good - ran a poor race last time, had some bad interference in running, but nothing has come to light since, so we are hoping he will return to the form of his good run at Leicester which should see him in the shake up. He has had a frustrating season for a horse that we have always thought a lot of.

One of two in the race for us - nice filly but still needs racing experience though so one for the future. 

Second mare in the race for us - looks our better chance of getting in the money. Has at least run at the track before but - like our other runner - will also come on for the experience further. First two in the market likely to fight this out, but we could nick third or fourth with her. 1 1/2 stars
