Regarde is by Kapgarde and is from the family of The New One on his female side. After winning an Irish point as a 5yo he was 4th in two of his four novice hurdle starts last season. He's a strapping individual built for jumping fences and should be able to progress in novice handicap chases this term. This doesn't look a strong race so if he handles the forecast quicker ground, he should have every chance.
