La Marquise looked above average when winning on debut in soft ground at Stratford in November but disappointed in a Listed event at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. Back against her own sex next time she defied a penalty at Chepstow. This is a big step up in class but she is a smart mare that I think has a big future.
