Top call from Dave and another win for this tough sprinter. Original quote: "Tavener - Can be a bit in-and-out but certainly pays his way. Won well at Lingfield two starts ago over 6f and just ran out of steam over 7f last time. Had two quick races there too but takes his racing well and back out just a week later. Drop to 5f is fine as has plenty of pace. Needs to get over from draw 7 and upped in grade here. But we get in with just 8-9 so that helps and we'll be trying to make a bold bid from the front. Only 7 runners so not the best betting race but still hopeful of a good run."
