Original quote: "Got Away - Gloria has had a torrid time since winning a listed chase here just over a year ago, she looked good on that occasion but has only completed the course once subsequently. Apart from jumping issues, brought on by a lack of concentration, she had a lung infection and this season she’s suffered with feet problems. I’m not entirely sure what happened at Huntingdon last time out, it could be that she tired badly off a very strongly run race and a lack of match fitness caught her out or possibly there is an underlying wind problem which we can’t detect.... but either way she’s an enigma because I do think she’s a smart mare. I’ve put a tongue tie on her today for the first time so hoping that will help. Only 3 runners and all look to have a similar chance so it really does look an interesting little race that any of us could land!
