Jersey Wonder has improved with each race over hurdles and he’s now very slick at his obstacles, he seems to be enjoying it all and he handles top of the ground - winning well at Fontwell last time out. Jersey Wonder was a decent stayer on the flat before becoming a bit bored and possibly highly enough handicapped so as his owner Tony Taylor has horses with both Jamie Osborne and myself he switched to me last autumn. He was a little sod when he first arrived, he would kick and try to bite other members of the string but he’s a reformed character now, he’s still a cheeky chap but he seems to be enjoying his jumping and it’s brought about a change in attitude. Up 6lbs from last time, but in this better race gets in with a nice racing weight of 10st 6lbs. Aidan a plus in the saddle too and looking forward to another big run on ground he'll love.
