Promising effort from Oliver's horse. Original quote: "Sam was purchased by Tim Syder after finishing second in a point to point in Ireland. Sam didn’t initially show us a lot at home and he’s still not flash in his work but he has improved with every schooling session and every gallop and I think he’ll be the type to keep improving with racing. He is the sort of horse I love because he’s so laid back, he just gets on with the job with the minimum amount of fuss. The Skelton horse sets the standard but looking for a nice run and one to note going forward. Small e/w. 1 1/2 stars.
