Puffin Bay was only beaten a nose on her hurdles debut at Exeter after winning a bumper. She looked very green in both of those races but she did seem better last time out at Huntingdon in a stronger run race, that was over three furlongs further and she travelled a bit too well and didn’t quite get home. Puffin Bay is a tough filly who loves her work and schooling, she’s not a horse who likes any fuss or faff in her stable. Should be hard to beat, with the King and O'Brien horses respected most of the others.
