Another place finish for Scott's horse. Original quote: "Gained a deserved win at Hamilton back in July and ran well to be second after that. Had a few excuses the last twice as tried 2m and didn't really stay and then got bumped at the start last time at Beverley. Still 6lbs higher than that summer win so more needed, but the trip today (1m4f) will suit and will love the soft ground. Also had a month off to get over those quick runs and seems well for the break. Generally, a consistent sort, but does have a habit of being placed more often than winning. On a plus, we are in a better race so gets in with just 8-9 and gets weight all round, plus with the jockey's 3lb claim that light burden will be a help. Overall might be a tough ask to win, but better expected than last few runs."
