27th Apr 2018 1st 3/1 – Jurby – Oliver Sherwood Towcester

Nice to see Oliver's horse bouncing back. Original quote: "Jurby had a bad fall last time at Hereford - and that resulted in Leighton injuring his neck. It was a bit of a strange one as he's usually a good jumper, it was a silly incident where he went to take off then changed his mind and did nothing. Jurby certainly has ability and has shown that this season - especially when winning at Wincanton, but he is quite highly strung and he boiled over completely at Doncaster two runs ago causing him to break a blood vessel. I’m hoping that was a one off but horses with his temperament are more likely to bleed than relaxed types. Since that fall he's continued to school well at home since his fall and he can handle soft ground although you never know if a horse actually likes it here until they run on the track. Conor takes over from the injured Leighton and on the ratings we've got every chance here of getting back on track with him. Hopefully that last experience hasn't impaced him and if that's so should be going close.
