A much better run from Tim's horse. Original quote: "Matts Legacy - Yet to sparkle on the track, but is dropped in grade here and is also 3lbs lower than last time. Has come on for last run at Newton Abbot, but got a bit tired in the closing stages so this drop back in trip will help. More needed, but hoping for better in what doesn't look the best of races with no real reason why he's not translating his home work to the track. Certainly shows ability at home and the plan today will be to run out the back and try and creep him through the race in a bid to teach him something. Certainly hoping for better but is the sort of horse that could either be pulled-up or win this!"
