Brummie has been a disappointing horse, he has not physically changed since the day I bought him and he’s always looked on the weak side. Last time out we resorted to the blinkers in an attempt to sharpen him up because he’s so lazy in his races, he did a bit too much over three miles that day so I’ve dropped him back by half a mile today. I’m hoping the forecast rain arrives as he prefers some cut in the ground. Brummie will be heading off to the sales at the end of the month, he’s an easy horse to deal with at home and good to ride.
