Been lightly-raced this season with just three runs - the first two of those were solid efforts and on those efforts would have a squeak, but last time at Uttoxeter was a below-par so needs to bounce back. It was quite a hot race last time, but we feel he's better than that and after dropping away we decided to give him a few months off to freshen up for this. Often goes well off a break though and we are also putting a 7lb claimer on today to help with his weight. Another hot contest here though but gets in with only 10-9, which will be one of the lowest weights he's raced with. Worth a crack and be delighted with a top half finish, anything else a plus. 1 1/2 stars."
