Git Maker is out of a sister to a Black Type winner from a lovely French family. He was placed in three four-year-old points before he won impressively. He started out under rules on the right foot with an authoritative win in a good maiden at Chepstow, and followed up under a penalty at Carlisle. He was then 4th on handicap debut at Sandown in a race that has worked out well, and he didn't get the run of the rce really. He looks to have a bright future as a staying chaser next season, however I hope he can win under a double penalty first.
